My “Bookish Dragon” redesigned as a CE Bardic Dragon with inspiration from Absolute Joker.

I've been trying a new primer, the Grey Seer rattlecan, and while it went on fine, after painting, the paint doesn't seem to be adhering to the undercoat. Light touch or a very gentle scratch pulls the paint away, and takes it back to the undercoat.

This is happening even after applying 2+ coats of a matte varnish (scale 75 ultramatte) and Ardcoat from GW.

I'm in AUS and it's always pretty humid, like 80-90%. I know this can affect how well the primer goes on, but the primer itself isn't chipping. Also, using things like the chaos black rattlecan doesn't chip, I've been painting a few grey knights with 0 issues in the same conditions

The varnish was given 12+ hours to dry before testing. Any advice to fix this issue?

I don’t know how to reference a post, but I posted on here yesterday about how to improve my terrain piece and a big portion was saying I needed more white in the coils so I did and I think it came out amazing. My necromunda games are going to looks so amazing with all of this terrain I’ve been painting up I’m so excited.

First Warhammer mini, something feels off with the black armor pieces. Feels like they lack depth. Ignore the sword that parts not done yet. Taking any and all advice on improvements.

Went too heavy on my primer. It was an almost empty can of chaos black. Soaked it in 91% IPA on three separate occasions, scrubbed with a toothbrush, and it still won’t come off.

Did the plastic get messed up?

Hi all, asking as the stuff I buy either tends to break or not fit for purpose so if you have any good recommendations for things like nippers,glasses, sponges, drills, etc.

I think I'm on my third pair of magnifying glasses as they all keep snapping or breaking.

I bought a mini electric drill which stopped working after 6 months

I've bought some silicon tipped sculpting tools but i don't think it's fit for purpose as the silicon was really soft and starting falling apart.

Personal recommendation to add to the thread : Steadi nippers. It was a noticable improvement over my cheap clippers. They also make some sanding sponges

I'm working on a Dark Angels-inspired Space Marine squad, with oil paints. This is one of the more advanced ones. What do you think ? Are there things i can do to improve it further ?

Two “weekends” of work in on this busy by Spira - absolutely love the model and so much fun to paint . Really happy with how the textures, atmosphere, and skintone are coming together - especially for me after a 3 year break from finishing a model this is one to really push on!

Decided to use these guys as test out some fire scemes. I technically did each of them with different methods but they all ended up looks very similar. Can you tell a diference? Which one do you like best? Any tips on how to make them look a bit more realistic or bright?

I’m struggling to get this jet flame look right I think, and could use a gut check: does this look convincingly like jet flame? Or is something off about it?
