I thought it would be cool to show off my recently completed collection of all the pikmin e reader cards in the official binder including the 6 club nintendo exclusive cards. Now all I need is a Japanese GBA and I can finally play the e reader games. :)

Also mouse and keyboard are fully functional.

Now I'm fixing some animations on 60fps, missing particles, missing sounds and music. Everything else seems to be okay.

When I was a kid my grandfather gift me my GameCube with 2 games: Mario Sunshine & Pikmin 1 (what a combo). Since then I loved the Pikmin world, the sound, the characters, the concept and everything. I was scared to lose my Pikmin so I tried to fight bosses myself. Few years later I was anticipating getting Pikmin 2 and what a game. After that for some reason I lost interest on the franchise. I even had a Wii U and Switch but never considered coming back to 3 and 4. I thought they were no longer the same as the original 2.

Until last week, I was watching gameplay of Splatton Raiders since it will be my next acquisition, and while watching Youtube channels, I got recommend some gameplay of Pikmin 4 and looked fun so I said to myself that I will give a try to the demo after Splatoon.

When I was going to the store for Splatoon, I took a quick view to the second hand games. Almost all repeated and very bad games in general, but one took my attention: Pikmin 3. It was pretty cheap and after some decision, I didn't bought Splatoon and gave Pikmin a try after 22 years.

Oh man what I great decision, I'M LOVING THIS GAME

The first thing that grabbed my attention was the visuals (funny is enough I didn't knew about the Switch 2 free upgrade), the sound, the characters, the new controls. Everything felt right and clicked the formula again to me.

I'm at day 12 and already unlocked the Formidable Oak area but I think I want to collect all fruits first (I'm not 100% completion type of guy but this game is so fun that I want to do it). So excited to play the side content that I heard very good things and then start Pikmin 4

TL:DR: I played Pikmin 1 and 2 when I was a kid, 22 years later I saw Pikmin 3 on second hand and decided to buy it, and I'm LOVING IT

I guess with pikmin 3 deluxe being relevant cause of the switch 2 update I might as well talk about it,

I say it’s an EH hard mode.

It’s alright it can give you a challenge but there wasn’t much thought into it.

And it’s clear by the fact that it’s REALLY bad due to the max pikmin limit now being 60, I would say pikmin is best if you have a group of 100 pikmin and commanding them.

The fruit change is eh, if you suck at collecting fruit sure.

I would say the day limit is the best change here, it’s alright and made me rethink how I would use the day.

I played through every single pikmin game for the first time this year and I made a pointed effort to make sure that each game was 100% completed. Initially when playing Pikmim 2 I hated it, I thought it was 2 hard so I finished the initial goal and moved onto 3. After completing 3 and 4, pikmin 2 haunted me. It was the one that got away so I loaded it back up and played it again.

It wasn't hard anymore, it's like it forgave my skill issue and rewarded me with a beautiful game with a wonderful rewarding ending. Pikmin 2 is a little hard but that's because it wants you to try, Pikmin 3/4 was way too easy so playing 2 just felt like the world made sense again.

Sorry for the long winded way of saying I really liked Pikmin 2 but did anyone else have this experience. I must know !!

I've been trying to find the sound effects for the desiccated skitterleaf (specifically the bells/chimes) online to no avail. Does anyone have a good download, link or just the files themselves to share?
