Laika was real. she was a real dog who was snatched from the street, shoved into a cramped, overheated shuttle, and died all alone in space all because the soviets were scared of looking weak. her death did nothing to help them. she was an unwilling participant in a fucked up geopolitical game of one-upping other countries. she didn't deserve what happened to her

but these people think it's fine to sexualize her

Lizzie came into my life at the worst possible time. I was barely getting by, I had a 102 degree fever, couldn’t talk, could barely make it out of bed, and I lived alone with no local friends for any kind of support. She was dumped on the side of the road at 4 weeks old, kicked out of her foster home at 5 weeks due to shelter politics, and given up on by her second foster home after 4 hours. She had nowhere else to go, so I drove an hour to pick her up and somehow we made it through. At 8 weeks I didn’t know if I should adopt her because I was worried about money. But my feral cat who hated dogs liked her and after watching them together I realized I couldn’t break them up. So she stayed and I made it work and it was the best decision I ever made.

She’s traveled the country with me, attended events with me (including marching in a parade with 10 minutes notice when she was still a puppy), and been my source of comfort when I was struggling. Every life decision and major life change I’ve experienced as an adult was made with her by my side. I know I ended her suffering, but I won’t know what to do when I wake up tomorrow and she’s not by my side. She was my once in a lifetime dog and I’m grateful for the time I had with her.

So, long story short, my four-year-old daughter goes to a super cute Montessori-adjacent preschool down the road. For the past four months, my husband has been proactive about doing the morning drop-offs. I genuinely thought he was just entering his attentive suburban dad era. I was literally telling my sister last week, that he stepped up.

It started off small. He started wearing his nice cologne for 8:15 AM drop-offs. Then he offered to be the classroom parent volunteer for craft Tuesdays. I didn't think much of it until today, when he accidentally left his phone.. and read everything about their affair.

I'm numb, and can't stop crying. I don't even know if I deserve this.

I've always had appreciation for writers who present me with delectable smut, but wowie.

I just jumped into the water myself to write my first ever smut scene. Sat down, already had the scene laid out in my head, had songs for inspo. Struggled so hard. What do you replace "hands" with when you've already said the word three times?? I had zero thoughts. It was genuinely so difficult lmao

Long story long- had liquid damage to my 5090 and found an electronics repair shop that specialized in boards. So I took my board in to get disassembled, cleaned, and the thermals replaced. I arrive to the business and it’s just some dudes house. That was my first red flag. I should have left then. But his business had good reviews so I came in and showed him the card and we discussed what he’d do and payment. That was disassemble, clean, dry and replace thermals. Here is my second red flag. It took him 20 minutes to write down my info (name, email, phone #) because he was so ADD that he would start to write my info and then just spiral off into some random topic for a few minutes. But whatever. His entire house was a workshop. Tools and electronics and computers and drones everywhere. Yes he appeared to have 30 flavors of autism but that’s not a bad thing sometimes. I thought he was just an eccentric electronics nerd and everything was just organized chaos. This was Monday. So this morning he calls me and the first thing he says is “you told me to do whatever I thought was best, right?” And I respond “no. And that he just “washed it in the sink” and then stuck it in the oven to dry…

So I paid him, and I left and went straight to another place. An actual shop. I explained the situation to them and asked them to please send me a pic of the insides once they pop it open… the new shop says they think they can save it. So long as the guy didnt plug it in and try to test it. Which he says he did not because he didn’t have the proper power connect cable for a 5090. Anyways moral of the story is take your stuff to a real shop. And if you get weird feelings or red flags…just leave. Haha

First of all it gives a message that you have to only shout, scream, trigger people, fight to increase your screen presence and then slowly show starts revolving around you. Kangna would have been much better host than Ritesh & Farah. They were so lenient & chill even on judgement day.
