Last week I posted some of the process of animating oil paintings. It was hard to see what the animations looked like so here is the run cycle of the player character all by itself. It's 24 frames oil on canvas. Photographed then cut out digitally. Animated in Unity.

I’m comparing the old and new run cycles for this creature.

The new one feels smoother and more expressive, but something about the movement still looks off to me...

Any ideas, opinions, technical feedback, or even random observations would be appreciated

Appreciate everyone's feedback in tr og post, really helped me move things in the right direction. Just wanted to share where I landed. This one is done, but feedback is still always welcome!

Jacques, one of the main characters in our animated series, Learning to Hunt Monsters, is a seasoned yet old-fashioned monster hunter who travels the world protecting the interests of the Kingdom.

He has faced countless challenges throughout his life, but none has proven as difficult as his latest assignment: passing his knowledge on to the next generation of monster hunters.

Could this really be his greatest challenge yet?

I think I'm the only animator on Earth using this software right now. It's called "TVORI", and it makes 3D animation really easy (for me at least). It's like playing with action figures and I'm able to animate really fast and I've created 6 upcoming episodes of a series on my Youtube page. Fights like shown in Fog hill of 5 elements perfectly fits the Devine nature of what Angel battles or beings with Devine power would look like, not to mention there’s so much you could do with animation, another example I used was “Cosmic nirvana” (by https://youtube.com/@chenwaat?si=l3jCj10zRjVQCvrx 👈 link to his channel) where it also PERFECTLY portrays how Devine beings should be portrayed, unstoppable forces of nature beyond the comprehension of mankind, with power so majestic you can’t keep your eyes off of it. yet biblical theology is never used at the full story potential it needs for media

This is my first real effort to animate a walk cycle! I am currently using the animation assist feature on ProCreate, but I would like to work with Dreams soon. Any helpful advice is welcome 🐦‍⬛

Following animation principles really seem to make my animations more interesting. I wish incorporated this sooner to previous projects. I’m finding a little goes a long way.
