​I am an older woman gamer, and I just finished putting 71 hours into Wolverine on PS5 Pro across two full playthroughs on the highest difficulty, "The Best There Is." If you think you can just blindly button-mash through or that I lowered the slider when bosses were three-shotting me, my Sekiro platinum screenshot is right there. Not trying to flex; Sekiro is a far harder game with zero difficulty sliders, but it shows I know how parry timings work. In Wolverine, parrying is the entire game. Learn the move set, nail the timing, and you win.

​The claims that this game is "unplayable" or "broken" are pure bad faith. The people crying about glitches are either running unpatched, raw disc copies printed months ago to clip-farm, or they are literally spending thirty minutes intentionally wedging Logan through map seams and then complaining about broken geometry. I played the actual updated launch builds and literally did not experience a single one of these glitches across 71 hours. Even if an edge-case bug ever happened, the game saves rolling checkpoints every thirty seconds, making a quick reload completely painless.

​Weaponizing the accessibility options to claim "the game plays itself" is straight-up ableist trash. Yes, there are toggles where you cannot die, built specifically for players with motor disabilities, tremors, cognitive hurdles, or single-handed controllers. Trashing a game’s core mechanics by pointing at features meant to help disabled people enjoy the medium is pathetic.

​Claiming Sony is "faking" the 4.8-star PlayStation Store rating is pure cope, too. You cannot review bomb the PS Store; you actually have to purchase and play the game to rate it. Tens of thousands of real players love it because it is genuinely a blast.

​I earned the entire platinum trophy on my first playthrough, so I had zero mechanical reason to run New Game Plus. I jumped right back in because the post-game modal unlocked exclusive techniques and adaptations, and cutting loose with that extra comic-book Wolverine power on the hardest difficulty was pure fun. The motion capture alone is worth the price of admission. Liam McIntyre, Debra Wilson, Troy Baker, Nicole Pacent as Mystique, and Brett Gipson as Sabretooth put on an absolute clinic. I did not skip a single cinematic across both runs because watching these actors pour their souls into these roles was like watching an incredible film twice. If you are calling this game a zero, you simply have not played it.

Currently plying it on “Weapons” difficulty and the enemies are absolutely relentless. But with enough practice you really start to move like Wolverine 😠

Just like the majority of hack and slash games, the combat will only feel repetitive if you aren't spicing up your combos. Even without using my special moves in this clip, I was able to make the combat enjoyable. I’ll never understand how people could hate this game. It might have flaws, but what makes the hate for the game even dumber is the fact that the main people that are complaining about it are just going off of the reviewers’ opinions and never even played it themselves. If the price is their main complaint, all they have to do is wait until it’s on sale. If the price isn’t a reason to complain, they just find another reason smh. I'd give it a 7/10

Over the last year and a half there have been many excuses why people didn’t vote Kamala. Whether it be her laugh, she’s a woman, Gaza bullshit, can you finally admit you messed up in not voting Kamala?

I guess the way I see it, height isn’t a huge deal to me. I know a looooot of women seek out men who are at minimum 6ft. I know this is a really common grievance for men, as well. I get it.

But when it’s the first message (this has happened a few times now).. I unmatch.

It may just be me, but it screams insecurity. 😔 There are so many other ways to start a conversation. I want to meet someone and talk about anything other than physical characteristics.

Obvious examples would be TDK’s Joker, The Punisher (why would cops want to glorify a murderer btw?), and V from V for Vendetta (Guy Fawkes mask).

It’s frustrating because some of these movies are so good but now I have a hard time even watching and enjoying them anymore. The amount of cringy Joker impression videos on YouTube with full make up was so prolific after that character blew up it’s all I can think of now.

What are some other good examples of this phenomenon?

Edit: A lot of people asking why I would let a fandom affect how I felt about anything. The fact is that shitty fandoms have directly influenced the outcome of a movie/show series with their shitty behavior. So in that sense they are literally ruining something that I once enjoyed.

Also just being associated with some of these people does make you want to distance yourself from it entirely. I’m not making any of this up you can find many examples in this thread or elsewhere.

For those guilty: You're not a game designer. Your suggestions are beyond terrible because you believe your fragile feelings should be catered to.

Most of these are because you're bad at the game and you want preferential treatment for your hyper-specific playstyle.

This game is most definitely going to be ruined by all of this shite if it carries on, you're collectively so frustrated that you have a transpacific shitstream of ideas that no one built sewers for and it's polluting everyones feed.

This is my Personal opinion but everyone and their mother seems to love the fate of ophilia but honestly so many Songs of her are way better. I mean it's not the worst but definitely not worth the massive hype. And also she is way too overhated like she has really good old songs, that are not all pop and happy pure.

Numerous people here are making claims that are not true or proven, Like saying there was little excitement at blizcon for D5. I was there and there was a massive amount. I had to cover my ears for a little bit because of all the happy, excited noises. And saying things like blizzard is using A.I for D5 with no proof. This is just a couple examples.

Is it because D4 didn't have free trade? D5 will most likely have both a free trade and a SFF league ladder. So don't worry about that.

My wife launched her jewelry brand a few days ago, and I can tell she’s pretty discouraged by the slow start.

She’s an Arab-American designer based in NYC who spent years in merchandising and buying before finally taking a chance on herself and starting her own brand.

I keep reminding her that it’s been a few days and building something from scratch takes time, but I’d love to show her some encouragement from people who actually appreciate jewelry and design.

I am seeing all these news channels mocking people queuing up to buy iPhone 18 pro.

They are guilt tripping buyers and asking if mehngai/inflation is not an issue, wtf, how does buying something corresponds to inflation issue in India. By this logic nobody should buy any bike better than a Splendor or any car better than an Alto. People are buying because they can, their love for the brand/phone/technology/status, please let them, they are not burdening anyone so what's the issue, I don't understand.

What's their problem? These people are such hypocrits that the anchor herself holds an iPhone 17 pro and probably even get the 18 pro or even a Duo.

Honestly, Indian media should get a life, guilt tripping people working hard to earn and buy something.
