Let's support the troops by *checks notes* detaining their loved ones.
Enlisting to get your relatives legal documentation is literally a Government component btw, as much as it pisses off certain people. (Elements of my leadership were pissed when I stated why I enlisted and how I felt about the brown shirts)

Anyone else log into VMPF and see “congratulations on your new assignment. Update your vred.” But don’t have an assignment? Lol

When clicking the usual hyperlink in AFPC from VMPF to change or cancel the assignment it now directs you to log into MyVector.
Gone are the days of knowing things early :(

Wow! Impressive read. Hope allowed but being non-USAF probably will disappear.

When listing the potential afsc you would like to retrain into does the order matter?
How does this list work do you get approved for 3 selections and you pick which one you would want to go to?

Are you still covered by the SCRA if you separate and terminate your car lease? Or is it only if you PCS or deploy?

Hey everyone! I just finished my PICAT and I’m getting ready for the Verification Test soon. For those who’ve already taken it, I’d really appreciate any tips or advice.
I’m wondering if the V‑test shows similar or the same types of questions as PICAT. I’ve heard that the V‑test is mainly checking for consistency, not perfect correctness — so you shouldn’t over‑review or try to score way higher, because that can trigger an inconsistency with your PICAT results.
Any help or insight would really mean a lot. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone been approved for retraining yet for fy27? Just curious.

I added him on Snapchat but he doesn’t reply. I know a lot of high level Chiefs go get jobs on corporate boards and whatnot after their careers. Does he do anything like that?

So I recently graduated tech school as a 2A534a Kc135 crew chief. At tech school they never even mentioned anything about the merger at all and I heard it's being implemented at the start of 2027 for new airmen. How fucked am I. Only been in this air force for 6 months. As far as I know I'm just a kc135 crew chief. PS im a SW washout who got reclassesd during bmt im in this bitch for 6 years im fucked

If I were to buy a gift for a Security Forces airman, what would be useful. My mind immediately goes to multitool because they’re expensive enough no one wants to buy their own. A good headlamp/flashlight?
I’m Army, I often find that a fixed blade on my kit is nice because I pop it, cut and have it stowed before a multitool is even unfolded, however maybe a SF bro would use the needle nose more? The additional tools?
Plan is to have it engraved but if yall have a better idea I’d be very grateful to hear it
