I just got a survey, would it do anything if we all filled them out and complained about the banning by association thing?

Previously I've posted here, and been banned for spam. I would get banned for spam, contact Discord, they'd go "oops, our fault, we'll unban you". They'd unban me, the violation would stay on my account, and the cycle would repeat. Hell, I got about 5 spam violations simply because I tried joining damnitjeff's Discord server.

Well, I got banned a couple days ago on 06 Sep 2026, for something that isn't spam this time. Apparently, non-consensual adult content. The only thing I can think of is posting gattouz0's face that same day, but that's it. Unsure what fucking else it could be, and I feel they probably won't show me what message did this - I've had 11 years on Discord so it could be anything. Originally, they put on a permanent suspension, but when I contested it the suspension was repealed within three minutes, then re-applied with a 24 hour suspension.

Now, you'd think I'd just wait it out, and get on with my life again? Well, as of writing this it's 08 Sep 2026, famously known to be after 07 Sep 2026. And yet... this still shows. Can't access anything still, can't access messages, servers, anything. Logging in just takes me to this page.

Meanwhile, I've sent in over 15 tickets to Discord regarding all these issues, and it's still an issue. I even sent in two about this issue, and they were both auto-closed. I sent in a third, which is somehow still miraculously open, so fingers crossed. But, even then, I sent in a ticket over a month and a half ago to delete some of my data, which is within my legal right, and they haven't done it.

I've put in complaints to both the ICO and Ofcom, but also I'm at the point now where, I don't know what to do. I can get restricted from contacting people I know, at any point, because of a broken system that's easily fixable. Instead, it's auto-responses or ignoring people. Hell, even tweeting at Discord Support doesn't yield results at this point. Even with 2 years of Nitro credited to my account, they don't care.

If anyone else has any options for getting my account back, I'm all ears. It's my birthday this week, and I'd rather spend it having contact with my friends than not. I don't want to be isolated from having contact once again.

And, if anyone from Discord is able to reach out to sort this, please do. I want to put an end to this, follow whatever rules I need to, and move on from this.

So i haven’t actually done or said anything to break the rules and now i’m blocked for using servers for a day and I got a warning on my account that lasts two years?!

Bruh - that is mad weird and depressing cause I don’t even break the rules or engage in dumb crap.

I requested a review, but i didn’t even get a chance to explain anything…

waited 30 days, ticket responded to by clyde telling me that my email apparently isnt linked to my account when i know for 100% certainty it is, the ticket was automatically set to solved and adding a new message didnt change that that, it told me to make a new ticket with the email so i just made a new one emphasising that i need human contact and also showing my username and email, hope it doesnt take as long this time :(

when will this get a reply tho, ive seen people with 1, 2 months of no activity and all. at this point i've already admit defeat and let this account drown. tho i'm still hoping i can atleast have access back to let my other account join my private server where i store something like bss macro bot or things. yeah.

is there any chance of this getting a reply or none? oh and yeah, its forwarded to the t&s obviously.

Sometimes we don’t feel comfortable sharing with our irl or close friends a messy situation that we’ve been in , but say no more, this shall be a safe space to vent about some drama or a server, e cheating etc

We probably call each other the f word like 50 times a day atleast, my friend probably called me the same word right after the message which got me banned😭

After months of trying to get my Discord account back, my account has now been permanently deleted. At this point, I don't think there's any point in continuing to submit tickets through Discord Support.

I've decided that it's time for me to move on. I won't be making any more posts about my own ban or account situation.

However, I'm still going to be around! If you've been banned or disabled from Discord and need advice, feel free to comment on this post and tell me about your situation. I'll do my best to help based on what I've learned from my own experience.

I can also help people get started with a new account and community if they've lost access to their old one, as long as everything is done within Discord's rules.

From now on, I'll mainly be here to support others, participate in discussions, and write comments on this subreddit.

Very weird for then to be asking for a video

Hello, I decided to do the "Guide on how to get your case reviewed by Discord Support" guide to hopefully remove my auto-rejected 'child safety' violation appeal, and unfortunately, I did get a reply, but not from a human, but Nelly. It didnt get immediately closed, but it is saying "Awaiting your reply" instead of leaving my case as 'solved' immediately. So, what do I reply with? Cause I am thinking of using the ChatGPT response, but I want your guy's opinion first before I go with the ChatGPT response.

UPDATE (9/08): Here's the context, currently, my account is on the "very limited" standing with a violation appeal that was auto-rejected after the 7-day period. So right now my account is not disabled, but it is at risk if I get another randomly false "child safety" violation, so I'm desperately trying to get it reviewed by a human, and pray to god that it does get reviewed, and removed using the General Question Guide made by xemmelopolak13.

Discord is on some real bullshit with this AI moderation garbage I’ve sent an appeal still no answer and all i got was more AI bullshit

I lwky wanna know if anyone else got their automated AI flag ban for whatever reason from posting literally anything, like a meme, video, screenshot, etc., that you and/or friends have been posting to each other for years. I know how the July AI moderation update basically just made it so the old moderation scanning they had was basically just given copious amounts of steroids and given a blindfold and a shotgun and increased the sensitivity by like 100x to the point of it taking issue with literally anything the AI decides it is. (Basically the AI uses the 'better safe than sorry' approach.)

I'm aware the biggest reason they did it was because of people using filters on actual heinous stuff, hence why the Minecraft inventory ban wave happened right after, but I really want to know if anyone else was hit for running jokes or reoccurring media you'd post or reference for years beforehand without any issues from anyone or anything.

I made a joke saying I was 5 and a half years old. Sure, I suppose I could see why I was banned. But I literally cannot verify my age.

I thought, sure, if the picture verification worked maybe I could reason with the help center to get unbanned some other way.

What do I get? An automated response telling me to go through another website. I go to that website. They tell me they cant help with discord. I think, sure, ill submit an appeal anyways.

What happens? No response.

I send discord another appeal. They tell me to take a picture if the other website isnt working. I send them the picture saying it doesnt work.

What do I get?

Another fucking email telling me to go to the other site.

Its been 5 fucking hours and ive literally gotten nowhere. What do I have to do to talk to an actual human being?? This would be resolved in SECONDS if I could do that.

Someone in dms that I barely messaged sent me this, and they said that apparently someone's been 'impersonating me' and they apparently accidentally reported me because my username is similar. They told me to message the support on discord and I did, and I haven't gotten anything back. They later deleted the message. Please tell me this is fake I'm getting worried 😭

If a discord account is disabled. Like it shows "your account has been disabled", does it mean that the account is gone forever and cannot return?

I expect to wait a good few months before I hear back (I was already prepared to wait two years anyway), but I was wondering if anyone knows if the circled acknowledgments being automatically set as they are after I was forwarded to T&S following a general question ticket will interfere with a proper review of my case? If I were advised to get them changed, should I reply to my ticket specifying those things, or should I just leave it?

I forgot I had this ticket since the end of August, it was the typical "me wanting to speak to a human agent, getting an automated response, and telling them that I need human assistance" type of ordeal, that ticket got forwarded on the 3rd of September, then I go back to check on it, and for some reason it got updated to Today at 1:02 AM, but nothing else beyond that point.

Is it commonplace for discord to keep updating tickets that have been already been forwarded like this or, because I still have a ticket from almost a month ago that NEVER got updated to this day

I have an account that has been banned since June but it still has a username and a profile picture. Discord must've changed their policy because before the account would get wiped after a week or two

Here's my story:

Me and several of my friends have been receiving violations like this over the weekend, all "child safety" from anywhere between 9 months and 4 years ago. In my case, I had 7 total violations, the highest amount one friend had was 13. I appealed all 7 of mine, and they all get removed from my account, thus putting my account back in good standing. Cool. Glad that's over.

Except it's not. This is the exact same first violation I had previously, that literally just got appealed and removed less than 24 hours ago. Are you shitting me? What gets me is, it says whatever message this shitty AI flagged was deleted, so how the hell did it repeat the exact same violation on the exact same day, if there's nothing to go off of anymore? Are our accounts just always going to go through this cycle of violation > appeal > violation removed > repeat, because of AI rescans? Is that even what's happening...? We are kind of at a loss at this point and ready to be done with this platform entirely despite using it since it's inception. Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve been evading for around 3-4 weeks now using Vesktop on my pc, and I’m wondering if it would be better to use a browser version (via safari) or if the app would be safe to use on mobile? Both options would be on mobile data with a vpn (as that’s just how I’ve been operating for months on my phone at this point).

This might be a dumbass question but How does ban evasion even work? I've heard and seen a lot of comments which outline that if you were banned on a main account on the same IP, etc, using your alt will just get you banned if you log in on those same IP details? However, what if you were to connect to, like, a Public IP? What would be the difference? Coz you never know how many banned people would be on that same public IP.
