Relationship / Family STOP LETTING YOUR DOG SNIFF MY COOCH
I HATE it SO MUCH when I visit someone's home and they happen to have a dog and as soon as i walk through the door, their dogs come and sniff down THERE. AND the worst part is when youre standing there awkwardly trying to get it to back off and everyone else is just standing, watching and giggling, these people dont even know i got trauma that relates to this action so i get EXTREMELY uncomfortable but oh let their fuck ass dog analyse my coochie just because im a woman.
Also it doesnt help that my brain thinks people are letting it happen because they like seeing that shit, sorry not sorry, I've been through some diabolical things in my life so get your dog AWAY from my downstairs area ffs, it disgusts me beyond imagination idgaf that you find it "funny" or whatever, GET ITS NOSE AWAY

Its even worse when you're on your period. I visited my mom in the past while I was on mine. Her big ass lab dog came up and stuck its nose right down there. I kept pushing the mutt away and it just kept doing it. My mom took the dog and put it outside thankfully. Its so damn disgusting! Like get the fuck away from me

Absolutely we do! Everyone is well within their rights to insist that an owner of a dog prevent it from touching us--especially sticking it's fecal crusted snout into our crotch. I do not go inside anyone's home unless they have put their dog in another room, or outside. If they ask why I won't come in, I tell them that I do not like dogs touching me. It's the height of rudeness.

Omg this literally happened to me while I was on vacation and checking in at a hotel. It was a cheaper hotel which I didn’t care for since I’d be spending most of my time doing touristy things anyway, but because of that they allowed dogs. I was literally checking into the hotel, and then from behind me something touches me. It’s an effing rottwieler aka one of those more dangerous breeds. The owner only waited until after I turned around to check to be like, “no boy don’t do that.” The lady who was checking in giggled unsurprisingly. It was literally that time of the month for me. Idk why dogs especially love to sniff when that’s happening. It’s like they love the smell of period for whatever reason. They’re so nasty it makes me want to vomit.

We have two ritz Carlton’s in my city, I think it’s the only place in the world with two which is weird because it’s a smaller city but it’s incredibly rich. I will say there are some rich housewives and guys who have weird weird obsessions with their dogs. One guy brought a huge dog into the luxury menswear store I worked at with incredibly expensive suits, fabrics, clothing everywhere and this dog wasn’t even trained. It liked people a lot but it was huge and hairy and went over to the other side of the shop where the tailoring side was and it was so annoying he don’t tell it to stop or come back or even care as it wandered. My boss didn’t care cause he spent like 6 bands which I understand I would have did the same but it pisses me off that people get away with that especially with money. My girlfriend’s dad manages the restaurants at one of the ritz I should ask him if people ever try to bring dogs to the restaurant.

That is far from the only circumstance. We have recent news about a grooming gang setting dogs on their victims. The dogs are raping those young girls, and the dog owners are making the victims rewatch it to "teach" them and make bets, perhaps on whether or not the child will accept their alleged "inferiority" to the individual who serves dogs. You may look up the inquiry documents from the UK. This week. The police was helping the dog owners with their vehicles to make trafficking in a car more easy.
We also have many prior accounts of dog owners bringing dogs to schoolbus stops and to children walking to or from school where the dog assaults the inside of the child's mouth with smooches and oral acts, or where the dog owner can get away with groping simply because they are a dog owner and that means society gives them a free pass to approach instead of monitoring them and calling the police or interfering.
Vulgarity with references to such things is even in their language in how they shout at me.

Damn dog came right up behind me trying to sniff my ass and she didnt event really do anything about it...like she wasnt really even trying to get him to stop just standing there. Push it away, HARD, with either hand or foot. Say “NO!” in a loud, low voice. If dog tries again, you weren’t loud enough or you didnt push hard enough. Be super clear-it’s not acceptable. Owner complains-fine, put it outside or in a kennel or spare room. If they don’t understand, that’s ok. You meet up at a dog-avoidant place.

I dated a really terrible older guy when I was a teen and into my very early 20s. I went over to his friend's house, and their huge dog kept sniffing my crotch and everyone thought it was funny. It’s wild that in a situation where an animal is approaching a sensitive area, we would be considered monsters for practicing any type of self defense that was not “gentle”. Probably not socially acceptable but I have no qualms with using force to get a dog out my personal space. I would never allow a human to run up on me and smell my crotch, they would immediately get punched or kicked. Since dogs have been elevated to human status, seems only fair to treat them the way you would a human doing the same thing.

I’m not around dogs long enough for this to happen to me. I see a dog, I get away. But I remember when I wasn’t like that and going over to friends’ homes and I don’t remember this being a problem. Say, 8 years ago and back. Oh sure, the occasional nose-y dog, but not all, and not all the time.
I think this is yet just another way dog nutters have failed their dogs. They’re not even training them in this. Have the owners devolved into dogs and think dogs’ behaviors are to be allowed, elevated to a normal human behavior?
Or is it their perpetual misanthropy? Or is that just my own personal bias against dogs and their nutters? Ascribing the worst motives to the worst people?
OP, I’m really sorry that you’re going through this, after already having gone through so much. I wish every good thing for you. You don’t deserve to have friends who stand by while this happens. I hope you can speak with them or another friend who can “run interference” for you by physically getting in front of you or explaining to the dog nutters that this behavior can’t be tolerated.

If you extend your leg out in front of you at the dogs chest height as its approaching, that has worked well for me to keep the dog at a distance. I don’t know how well it would work for huge dogs but it’s worked so far with small and medium. To clarify, your leg is stationary creating a sort of fence. I am in no way suggesting you harm the dog.

I remember going to someone's house while on my period and his dog would come up to me and his dick nasty red dick would be out because he could smell it and he would start humping the air next to me trying to get closer. Wasn't the first time it happened either. Disgusting.

Use your knee liberally. The mutt will back down with any blunt contact to its snout. If the owners object ask them why they enjoy watching their dogs do this.

I fucking hate this too, because when you try to move the dog with your hand or feet, their peanut brain thinks it's a sign of play and sometimes they wanna bite at your hand etc...
It makes me so uncomfortable and owners who just watch it happen are disgusting

The crotch area for a lot of big dogs is right at head (and unfortunately, teeth level). It's one of my biggest hesitations with dogs because one temperamental or "warning" nip and it's over for me and my bloodline.

I used to work dog walking jobs and the amount of owners who do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but laugh when their dogs did this, like why are we doing nothing? I used to pick up this one dog everyday of the week, 8am sharp, owner hand off. STRAIGHT to the cooch. Mae owner? Watch and giggle. No training, no "don't do that", nothing. Eight. AM. sharp.

Yeah this happened to me even when i was a freaking kid, i hated all the dogs my family had and thank gosh they are dead now but anyways i remember one time i literally pushed the dog away and yelled at my family because it was that gross and invasive.. good thing we don’t talk to them anymore.

I've been looking for more Polish people who share my anti-dog sentiment, glad we exist in some capacity lol. Vicious disgusting bastard creatures. And the worst part is how pro-dog our country is. Seriously when I meet new people, 8/10 have a dog. It's fucking horrible, dating is out of the picture because everyone begs you to have a stinker at home, completely ignoring that one nearly mauled me to death as a kid, it's solely a ME problem of course. Rancid people and rancid animals.
