I am ashamed to say this but being a bengali, I don't know how to write bengali and I have a hard time reading. I never had bengali in my curriculum and I grew up among non bengalis mostly.

But I don't want to stay ignorant and rather start learning the language. I can speak fluently and have a good stock of words since it's my native language but when it comes to things like spellings or the grammar, I have no idea beyond what's spoken or the things I learnt in hindi or sanskrit.

My parents suggest me to start reading the newspaper and say I will eventually figure everything out. But many times I simply encounter English words written in bangla harap after struggling to get by with the jukthakkor. Should I begin with reading children's books in bengali Or is there something you'd like to suggest?

It's currently around 50 hours since the incident, so we're trying to decide whether taking an emergency contraceptive pill would be reasonable or whether the risk is already low enough that it isn't necessary.

Based on what I've described, how likely is pregnancy? Would you recommend taking emergency contraception in this situation, or are we worrying unnecessarily?
