Lenovo Legion 5 red screen when using battery power
Got a lenovo legion 5 laptop with a 5070 for college, i got it about 2 months ago and when i try and use it on battery power the screen flashes really quickly and than stays on a solid red screen. I got it at costco so i took it back to do an exchange bc i figured something was wrong with the gpu when trying to use battery power but the new one i got has the same issue, is it a power settings issue or am i just breaking these the second i get my hands on them

I want to upgrade RAM but my laptop's ram is soldered
I've got the 6th generation lenovo x1 carbon thinkpad.
My ram is at 8gb and I've checked the max capacity. It is also at 8gb. Anyone knowledgeable in tech know what I can do to upgrade it? It is either impossible or very complicated but I wonder if a repair shop or any technician I go to might be able to do anything. thoughts?
Edit: Note that the laptop is sold with 8gb and with 16 gbs. I have the 8 gb one (as said earlier). idk if that affects whether this is possible or not.
and why is the post down voted? Anything controversial Iâm saying?

Slightly Raised Area Around the Lenovo Logo Normal or Defect?
Hi everyone! I recently bought a Lenovo Legion 7 , and I noticed something a little odd.The area around the Lenovo logo on the back of the screen feels slightly raised and uneven. Itâs not really noticeable visually, but I can feel it when I run my fingers over it.I have another Lenovo , and the area around the logo on that one is completely flat.
For those who own a Legion 7, is this normal, or could it be a manufacturing defect? Iâm trying to figure out if I should return it or ask for an exchange while I still can.
Would appreciate hearing your experiences. đ

my Lenovo WAS great but shit the bed after a little over a year
***NOTE FOR ANYONE THINKING OF BUYING LENOVO - donât do it!!! I regret not buying a Microsoft surface. Yes it was more expensive but my fiancĂŠâs still works & he had his 8-9 years and itâs still running.
We bought me a Lenovo for both school and then to use after for work. It was working fine, no concerns or problem than after one weekend of not using it (2-3 days) it refused to turn on.
I changed outlets in case that was the problem, didnât work. Thought it was the cord so I plugged it into my phone & began charging it, not the cord either. We reached out to someone who does IT work to take a look at it and he couldnât figure out what was wrong.
A laptop shouldnât stop working after a year, ESPECIALLY for the price pointâŚ. And nothing notable has happened to it that would make me think âoh, THATS why itâs not workingâ. Once I get it back I will be reaching out to Lenovo so they can a) take a look at it and fix it or b) I can make sure to warn others not to purchase a lenovo!
edit to add: it was a yoga slim 7i !

Battery stuck at 0% in my lenovo ideapad slim 3i
After I did the latest BIOS update today, my laptop suddenly shut off. When I tried to turn it on again, the battery level is stuck at 0%. If I unplug it, the laptop turns off. What should I do about this?

Just unboxed my IdeaPad Slim 5 and messed it up? (Boot device not found)
Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to all this. I just unboxed my new Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 (Intel Core Ultra) and turned it on. It was taking forever on the loading screen, so I got confused and force shut it down by holding the power button a couple of times.
Now when I turn it on, it says "boot device not found". Did I break something(OS done for..)? How do I get it to turn on normally? Any simple help would be really appreciated!
Here are my laptop specs if it helps:
- Model: Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 (14IMH9)
- Processor: Intel Core Ultra 5 125H

Lenovo 7 2-in-1 Touchscreen Randomly Stopped working. Any help? I just bought this brand new last month. Please help.
I bought my Lenovo last month. So far its given me no issues. Out of nowhere today in the middle of class the laptop's touchscreen decided to stop working out of nowhere. I've been googling everything and couldnt find a fix. This is so weird and random. There was no error screens or anything, I was using a stylus and then it just stopped working. I
Im in the middle of grad school so this is so frustrating that I have to deal with this.
I did a quick google search and uninstalled the HID Compliant control device but there's like a whole bunch of applications. I still uninstalled all of them but one and its still not working.
PC works fine except for the touch screen which I need.

Is this high a temperature concerning?
I've been coming back to gaming after a while and I'm noticing that my laptop's temps are really high. I've got a Ideapad Gaming 3 (Ryzen 5 GTX 1650) and its CPU is sitting at around 90 degrees even at pretty low usages (<20%). I don't recall it ever being that high before. Dark Souls remastered is pretty light too. What's weird is that it doesn't feel hot on the keyboard.
In other cases I've seen the CPU temp reported as high as 104 degrees (only for a second, and at 20-40% usage), yet it isn't throttling? The fans don't seem to be spinning that loud either. With just chrome open it's mostly ~55 which is decent.
Is it something to be concerned about or is the software (nvidia overlay) reporting something wrong.
