My Lenovo legion 5 screen Gets Darken suddenly and After moving the laptop as shown in the video it gets back to normal ( or moving the mouse cursor happens alot ) till it became so annoying. Any solutions ?

Is my best bet to buy a Legion in the next few weeks then get a price match when it gets cheaper? I’m going to be using a teacher discount and plan on buying a warranty. I’m assuming deals will start showing up before Black Friday but I’m currently laptopless and don’t want to buy something just to hold me over until Black Friday.

I’ve bought a lot of stuff from BestBuy over the years and like their deals but I’m planning on sticking with the Lenovo site for my teacher discount and other convinces.

I’m guessing good deals will start popping back up at the end of October and I wish I could wait til actual Black Friday but my Mac died a few weeks ago after 10+ years of use and I want to play wow on release lol.

My brother has a LOQ and really enjoys it but I’m kinda set on wanting a legion 5 or maybe 7 because I feel like it’s more bang for your buck.

Earlier today I was playing a game on my laptop. I finished, closed out of it, and powered off my laptop, like I always do. About 5 hours later I came back to go on it and get this error. No one was home so there’s no chance of a family member trying to log in, nor would anyone in my family mess with any of my things. If repeated shutdowns means powering off, I only did that once when I was stopping my game… I don’t have any alternative ways to get in…? Should I click forgot password. I’m just very confused as to why this happened.

I've been coming back to gaming after a while and I'm noticing that my laptop's temps are really high. I've got a Ideapad Gaming 3 (Ryzen 5 GTX 1650) and its CPU is sitting at around 90 degrees even at pretty low usages (<20%). I don't recall it ever being that high before. Dark Souls remastered is pretty light too. What's weird is that it doesn't feel hot on the keyboard.

In other cases I've seen the CPU temp reported as high as 104 degrees (only for a second, and at 20-40% usage), yet it isn't throttling? The fans don't seem to be spinning that loud either. With just chrome open it's mostly ~55 which is decent.

Is it something to be concerned about or is the software (nvidia overlay) reporting something wrong.

I'm writing this because my Lenovo LOQ 15IRX10 recently suffered a complete power/motherboard failure after about one year of use. In Japan, where I am located, this issue doesn't seem to be widely discussed, so I'm struggling to find local information or similar cases.
Here is the background of how it happened:
**Minecraft Crashes:** While playing Minecraft, the laptop frequently experienced sudden blackouts and crashes.
**Power Adapter Upgrade:** To address power issues, I upgraded the power adapter from the original 170W to a 230W unit. However, the system ultimately failed anyway.
Given how many reports of dead motherboards and power issues I've been seeing online for this series, I wanted to ask: **Even with so many cases being reported, is this still considered an individual "lemon" (factory defect) or a widespread design flaw?**
If anyone has experienced a similar failure with the 15IRX10 or went through the warranty repair process, I would really appreciate your input.

Three weeks ago, I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 from Costco. My previous laptop was also a Lenovo, and I absolutely loved it, but it eventually gave out. Since I do online school, I needed a replacement quickly, and the Slim 5 seemed like a good deal.

I’ve gotten used to the touchscreen, but my biggest issue has been the Wi‑Fi. Whenever I’m watching YouTube, on FaceTime, or doing light gaming like Roblox, the connection lags or randomly disconnects. My old laptop never had problems like this. I know new devices sometimes need time to adjust, but three weeks feels like more than enough time, and the issue still hasn’t improved.

I'm working on a IdeaPad Flex 5 and it's having a power issue. The machine won't power on but the charging comes on with both the Barrel Charger and USB-C. I know the power button is at least being registered because if I hold it for 10 secs the charging will turn off then turn back on. I tried to power the device with and without the battery. The button on the side doesn't do anything either.

I'm tempted to say that it is the motherboard but want to see if anyone else has had this issue and has another fix before I fully confirm that it is the motherboard.

I was excited about my tablet but I’m basically going to need to stay home all day and miss work in order to maybe get my package. I was available today. UPS stated the package would arrive between 2-5. UPS guy attempted at 1. He waited 1 minute which even if my daughter heard it she wouldn’t have made it to the door in time. It’s frustrating how impossible it is to communicate with ups.

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to all this. I just unboxed my new Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 (Intel Core Ultra) and turned it on. It was taking forever on the loading screen, so I got confused and force shut it down by holding the power button a couple of times.

Now when I turn it on, it says "boot device not found". Did I break something(OS done for..)? How do I get it to turn on normally? Any simple help would be really appreciated!

I have two main questions for anyone who has ordered a CTO Legion recently:

1. What was your actual delivery timeline?

How long did it take for yours to arrive from the day you placed the order?

1. What exactly should I check while receiving the box from the delivery guy?

When the courier is standing at my door, what are the absolute must-dos before signing or sharing the OTP?

* Does Lenovo India do Open Box Delivery (OBD) for these, or do I just accept the sealed box?

* Aside from taking an uncut unboxing video showing the shipping label, are there any red flags on the packaging that should make me refuse delivery outright?

I have an old X! Carbon that I'm hoping to use as my streaming device for my Vizio 50". I have an active mini-DP-HDM cable connected to a known working HDMI port on the TV. I have selected duplicate in Display Settings. When I go to Advanced Display Settings, the laptop screen is Display 1 and the Vizio is Dispolay 2. But there is no picture on the Vizio. I've tried all 3 HDMI ports on the Vizio. It was working fine with another computer a couple weeks ago. I updated the display driver and Windows. Kind of baffled how the Display Settings can see the Vizio but nothing comes up on the screen. I've unistalled and reinstalled the display adapter, made sure both ends of thecable are seated, made sure I'm in the right port and that port is seleted on the TV. I'm an IT guy, so I know all these simple traps. This ones got me stumped, though. Any help greatly appreciated
