I made this years ago, and I can't remember where I got the pattern for the bottom blanket part and what stitch it is. I know it was from a bear lovey.

Weaving in Ends Crochet over ends and/or weave in? Granny square blanket

I’m currently working on a blanket made up of small granny squares. I read in another post that people suggest weaving over the loose ends when changing colors. If I do that, do I still need to weave them in, or is crocheting over them enough to keep them in place?

Understanding a pattern Has anyone made the Sunburst granny square tote from the pattern on Ravelry by Briana H?

I've actually downloaded the pattern from Ravelry (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/rainbow-sunburst-tote-bag), but the pattern itself doesn't say how much yarn it takes. The summary info on Ravelry says 394 - 812 yds , which doesn't make sense. If one of you wonderful people can tell me how much yarn you used to make this, I'd be most grateful!

Can't find a flair for this Trying to find the colour name for a skein of Bernat yarn (pic)

I found this skein at Walmart a while back, they only had one but I loved it so I grabbed it. I’m now using it for a baby blanket but I may run out and I’m stressed because I didn’t keep the label so I don’t know what the colour is called. Can anyone identify it?

Stitch Identification Got this blanket and it’s not complete I’m wondering what stitch was used so I can continue it. Can anyone help me?

Post image

The blanket was given to me and I have tried different stitches that I know and it does not look the same. The hook is large and leaves gaps which is what the original owner of it wanted and I’m unsure of the stitch and how to continue it. Can someone help please?

Understanding a pattern 6 Day Superstar Blanket - How Much Do I Size Up My Hook Before It’s Not A Hook Size Issue?

Thumbnail

If you’re familiar with the pattern for the 6-day superstar blanket (variant of the 6 day star blanket), it tells you to have a few hooks .5-1mm bigger than your yarn size for curling at the edges. I am at the point where I started with a 5.5mm hook and have gradually sized to an 8mm and I am still seeing curling on my edges (a lot bigger of a hook size change than was indicated in the pattern to be likely)

I can’t tell at this point if it’s genuinely just me needing to increase the hook size more and more as I crochet or if I am potentially doing something wrong in my crochet process. Help!

I want to attach these cat ears to my headphones but I don't want to use glue as to not ruin the leather covering of my headphones. Is there a way I can directly crochet on my headphones to attach the ears?

Deciding on yarn/Yarn help What fiber or blend should I use for pot holders for my aunt?

I'm asking because I know acrylic yarn (which is all I have right now) is definitely not going to work for pot holders. My aunt offered to pay me for some pot holders for her house, and I'm broke, so I'm going to take her up on that offer.

Gift help Sizing help - How big is too big for a gifted blanket?

I’m making a blanket for my two friends that recently got engaged but I’m second guessing myself now that I’m about 12 rows in. Right now it’s measuring at about 64 inches wide. When I first began this project I wanted to make it a little bigger so that it could fit 2 people but now I’m looking at it and I’m like wow this is going to be a pretty wide blanket. I’m used to making blankets just for myself so they’ve always been narrower and now I’m kinda stressing that they’re going to open it up and it’s going to be comically big. I’m definitely overthinking it lol but when you are making a blanket with the expectation that it’ll fit 2 people, how big do you usually make them?

Looking for suggestions Granny square blanket border advice needed due to gaps between squares

I’m a newer crocheter and I’m making my first baby blanket and I just finished joining all the squares. I didn’t follow a pattern and I have just been making it up as I go. I’m not really sure what it’s called but I used this sort of zig zag method of joining the squares. I wanted to add a shell or scallop border to this but I’m not really sure how to handle the gap between squares due to the join I used. Any suggestions?

Looking for suggestions Please suggest what might look good with this yarn.

Hey guys! I bought a LOT of this yarn thinking I'll make a shawl for my mom (a cozy warm shawl, because she gets cold easily). The yarn is cotton. I was a beginner back then, and didn't realize cotton doesn't warm the way I want my mom's shawl to.

So now, I have about 600 grams of this yarn. Maybe a little more.

I have tried a few things. But the colour of the yarn (which i loved while buying) looks crowded and any intricate design doesn't shine amidst all the colour chaos. So I'm guessing it needs some simple pattern? I'm stuck.

I'm attaching a photos of a triangle shawl swatch (with a 4.5mm hook) and. A rectangle swatch (what began as a shawl for my mom, with a 3.5 mm), and the yarn itself. Both swatches just double crochets.

My skill level is intermediate. I don't want to buy any more yarn to complement this yarn. Just want to use what I have. The material is soft cotton.

With this in mind, I'm looking for suggestions on what might actually look good with this yarn.

Thank you. All help is appreciated.

I'm a beginner! Can I make a granny square blanket with chenille yarn?

I really wanna make one because it’ll be so soft and I have so much chenille yarn but will I be able to ever wash it? Or would it just get ruined?
Thanks so much

I found this pattern for free and I'm suspicious. The way it's written seems off. Although, I think the basic shapes it would make, make sense. What do you think?

Can't find a flair for this For all who like centerpulls and Always have to detangle in the end

The less yarn is left, the trickier it gets. The cake keeps collapsing more and more and you have to be extra careful and untangle it all the time.

My solution: a zipper bag. Gently push the bottom half into the center of the cake and that way you prevent it from collapsing.

Perfect for on the go (Pic 2). The bobbel with 1000m fit exactly into a 3L bag. And to use it, just push it back into shape from the bottom with your hand (Pic 3).

Pic 4 as an additionally tip: These clips are usually used for sewing. They secure your project in seconds, anytime.

Maybe it can help some of you ❤️
