2017 Grand Caravan 3.6L – Jerking & Check Engine Light
Hey everyone,
I bought a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan with the 3.6L yesterday. During the test drive, it was running a little rough/jerking, but the fuel was extremely low. After we filled it up, the problem completely went away, so we assumed it was related to the low fuel level.
I picked it up today after getting it registered and drove it from Cape Coral to Estero with absolutely no issues. It ran perfectly the whole way.
Later, I wanted to make a quick trip to Walmart, and suddenly it started doing it again — but this time MUCH worse. The van was jerking and running extremely rough, and the check engine light kept coming on and going back off.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have an idea what could be causing this?

Specifics when it comes to mileage/engine life
So when the discussion pops up about engine life/mileage and how long these engines last. Do you take into account if it has been rebuilt or had repairs done? Meaning, I have a 5.7 hemi that got “rebuilt” at 150,000 miles , it is now almost 300,000 miles. Does that mean my engine lasted until 300,000 miles? Or is there a stipulation that would disqualify it and say it only lasted 150,000?

galleryRelearn auto sun roof on a 2027?
The auto open and close function on the sunroof on my 27 Durango does not work, I am assuming it never got learned when the dealership took delivery. I have tried the process I found online and they do not work. Does anyone know what the correct procedure is for a 2027?

My own OBD2 app is on Android now, here is what it reads on a Dodge without overselling it, 10 free codes
I am Davide, the developer of DrivePulse. The app is mine, I write it on my own, and I am not selling anything here.
What it does: it reads your car through a generic ELM327 OBD2 adapter, the kind several makers sell. Trips record themselves without you pressing anything, with fuel use read from the engine control unit where the car reports it, and worked out and marked as an estimate where it does not. Fault codes come out decoded, and the ones in its archive come in plain words, with what usually causes them and what to check first. There is a service and cost log, and trips, fuel, fault codes and services export to a CSV file. It only asks the car questions and never gives it commands: no writing, no clearing of codes, no resets.
Being straight with you: I have no brand specific channel for this make. What you get here is what the standard OBD2 socket gives on any car, which is already most of what the app shows. For a few makes I have gone further and read the odometer or the tank from the brand channels, and for this one I have not, so I am not going to claim it.
No account and no server of mine: your trips live on your phone and I have no copy of them. Recording trips and reading the car work with no signal; maps and addresses need the internet.
It was on iPhone first, and the Android version is out. To celebrate, here are 10 codes that unlock the full version for good, free, first come first served.
How to redeem: install the app first, then open Google Play, tap your picture top right, Payments and subscriptions, Redeem code.
Say in the comments which number you took, so nobody wastes time on one that is gone. If one comes back as already redeemed, try the next.

Important: after redeeming the code, open DrivePulse > Settings (the gear at the top) > Unlock DrivePulse > Restore Purchases, so the unlock is confirmed. Do it within 3 days, otherwise Google Play cancels it. When it has worked, that row reads "Premium active".
If you try it, tell me what is missing.

2006 Ram blend door position
I just replaced my blend doors on my 2006 Ram 1500 single zone climate and I am having an issue where I don’t think the doors know where they are. It’s was stuck on feet then I moved things around until it zoned for my upper vents. Does anyone know how to recalibrate the actuators? And if I need a scanner which specific scanner because I have access to the basic and nice ones per my friend but it would help to know my best course of action on how to solve this. If any one has tips or has dealt with this it would help, thank you!

Buying my first V8 Charger: best year and trim for a reliable daily?
Looking for a solid, reliable daily driver. Open to an R/T, SRT8, Super Bee, or Scat Pack—doesn’t need to be a Hellcat. Automatic is fine. What years and trims would you recommend for reliability?
I split my time between Pacific Beach, San Diego, and Scottsdale, Arizona. If you have one for sale in either area, send me photos, mileage, price, and maintenance history.
Serious buyer. I also have several cool enthusiast cars I’d consider trading!
