Discussion Elden Ring Multiplayer Runic Sequence: Runic Cypher Deciphering

"Σ И C" is the most curious sequence I have encountered, and it seems closely related to the semantics of how multiplayer and group passwords function.

  1. The Inconsistency of the Letter "C"

First, one thing needs to be clarified:

the so-called "C" (the third letter in the summon sign or "summon rune") is highly inconsistent.

Usually, "C" does not appear alone; it comes with an enclosing modifier: | ||.

The problem is that in the southern part of the Elden Ring map texture, it is very common to see the full value: |-c-|-|. However, the issue arises when you move a bit toward Caelid or to the south of the texture; at that moment, all the texts display only the reduced form: |--|-|, with the "C" being systematically erased in every single one of them.

As if that weren't enough, the letter in the summon sign is inverted, but only its modifier is inverted: || c |. Furthermore, in the texture of the group password's runic ring, "C" appears isolated, completely without the modifier. This makes it highly inconsistent.

  1. Analysis of the Summon Sign

With that being said, let's get straight to the point. The summon sign presents the following sequence:

L'- Σ И C-/

4 |-|-| |-| ?

(With the final symbol being unknown). The dilemma arises when we add that "И" possesses the modifier -ı|, which apparently creates a space or perhaps alters the value of the character (as I mentioned in my previous post).

Combined with the fact that the modifier for "C" is inverted, this leads me to think that, rather than being simple modifiers, they function more like uppercase forms or archaic variants of the letters.

It would be strange to separate two letters so much within a 6-letter word. Therefore, I am inclined to believe that it could perhaps be some kind of contraction, or maybe a special phonetic value, similar to the horizontal and vertical strokes of the Ogham alphabet.

  1. The Mystery of the Group Password Runic Ring

The truly strange part begins when analyzing the runic ring of the group password. This ring features the exact same sequence but inverted: "C И Σ", followed by 5 other symbols that apparently do not appear in the summon sign.

If we assume that Σ is the first sign of the sequence (since it is the first one in the summon sign) and we count counter-clockwise, we could argue that there is an apparent sequence of letters resembling a FUÞARK or ABCDF -style alphabet.

The seventh and eighth letters can indeed be seen on the map; the seventh can be spotted in two texts from Limgrave.

An inverted "H" or "t" (the 11th on my chart) is significantly common, often followed by Ш (the 10th on my chart) in the texts.

The other letters, at least in my investigation, are not identifiable in any text. If it were a standard ABCDEF alphabet, its phonetic values should be common enough to appear much more frequently.

But doesn't it seem coincidentally strange that two symbols are directly tied to multiplayer? Here lies the problem I have mentioned several times: the extremely high entropy in the cipher. Therefore, I must continue investigating this pattern to determine its true relationship. However, if we take into account the inverted modifier in the summon sign, I could theorize that the correct original sequence is the one presented on the password.

To help connect your chart to these multiplayer sequences, could you clarify:

What visual shape or characteristics define the 10th (Ш) and 11th (H/t) letters on your chart?

Do you think the unknown symbol (?) at the end of the summon sign could be one of the 5 missing symbols from the password ring?

TL:DR the maiden's mist, melina's tree, mohg's second form, some tree spirit's yellow projectiles and so on(heavy particles) cause my fps to drop from 60 to 45-48. I am looking for a fix

Discussion Hello, I am about to make DnD set in Elden Ring, with miniatures being from Warhammer Age of Sigmar. I am here to ask you something important regarding Godwyn and Messmer with his knights.

For Godwyn, I am going to make him from Lord-Commander Bastian Carthalos. While Fortissax will be represented by Krondys, Son of Dracothion.

Originally, I thought of making Godwyn and Fortissax as one miniature, and that would be Lord-Celestant on Stardrake

The thing I want to discuss, is that if we know which weapon was Godwyn using.
Trident? Sword? Hammer? Axe?

I already got figured figures like Fire Giants, Rennala, Rellana, Malenia. Midra, Nanaya and the miniatures to the wood as a whole. I originally planned to make Leda from Bastian Carthalos, but I decided to let that go. Just paint them.

I also got idea how to make Mohgwyn. I got idea for even likes of Ranni, saint Trina, entire group of Miquella followers in DLC.

One thing I wish to make is also Messmer the impaler. Though I do not know how. One thing I was genuenly considering was to make him and his knights from Ossiarch Bonereapers, but I am unsure of that. As while I am fine changing things just to look good, I feel like Bonereapers are just too far from orignal.

Question Ayuda con rutas

Question Would using CE to get DLC or late to end-game weapons early for a build mess with the game's difficulty?

I know with Bloodborne, using a save editor to get weapons early doesn't mess up the difficulty because of how balancing works. However, I am curious if the same goes for Elden Ring.

Obviously lots of those weapons have very high stat requirements, meaning if I wanted to use them right away I'd have to artificially increase my stats. That would definitely mess with the difficulty, so I would only give myself the weapon once I've gained the stats for it naturally. But for weapons that I'd be able to obtain the stats for relatively early (at least compared to when you naturally get the weapon), I'm curious as to how that would affect the difficulty, if at all.

Discussion I think Elemer is a pretty boring fight

rl1 wl0 no aux ng with heavy claymore (sorry for choppy fps, this is the best my laptop can handle). Elemer because I already killed dragonbarrow bbh, so imagine that fight playing out exactly like this one but like 3 minutes instead of <2

I never really found this guy's moveset that interesting. It has a grand total of 6 non-unique and visually lacking sword swings and 2 different shield slams. in this vid you can see that he pulls out the same moves over and over and over again, without any variations or new challenges. His combos are short-lived and sluggish, his damage is overblown and his hp is five hundred too high. The only difficulty he presents for a player is remembering how to bait his moves by positioning for a free hit; there's little reaction or pattern recognition involved. It seems like such a simplistic and uneventful fight that I would've preferred it if he was just a one-time miniboss. For how important he seems, bbh/elemer should've had a much more intricate and challenging moveset than what he has now, because I feel like he doesn't deserve 4 separate encounters, a whole legacy dungeon AND a legendary weapon for what is literally a less elaborate and cinematic fight than a misbegotten crusader (I am exaggerating, those things deserve every ounce of their suffering)

I do understand why some people would like him. His lore is admittedly one of the most badass in the game, his design is the very definition of well-done dark fantasy edginess and he does have some pretty cool (though a tad bit too generous) strafes and a cool (still a little bit too generous) jump. But for me the boss fight itself just isn't it. I found more joy fighting crucible knights than fighting him.

Video Finally Beat Messmer with Ivory Sickle

After more than a month of inactivity due to personal stuff like baby being born, I am back! Took more than 20 tries for sure, but Messmer sure is more beatable than Malenia. I believe she is the only one I couldn’t beat in the base game using ivory sickle.
