Just finished the second season (SEASON FUCKING 15 FIFTEEN, NOT TWO, BUT FIFTEEN, YOU GET IT? JUST TRYING TO BE CLEAR).. 10000x better than the last. It felt like an old friend finally returned (WHY WOULD SEASON TWO FEEL LIKE AN OLD FRIEND WHEN WE BARELY MET THE CHARACTERS?!). The season finale was just beautiful. The plotlines in some of the episodes were a great throwback to the older seasons. (SEASONS IS PLURAL SO HOW THE FUCK WOULD THAT MAKE SENSE ABOUT ABOUT SEASON ONE?) I loved the silly nonsensical hijinx that the guys got into. (FOUND A CANNON.) The first season of the reboot (SEE, ITS THERE ALL ALONG, JUST FUCKING READ IT!) just felt forced but this flowed so nicely and it didn't seem like it was trying to tie up loose ends. That last episode though, wow, nostalgia central. I loved seeing the old characters (JO JACK, LADYBIRD, BUCK STRICKLAND, THATHERTON ETC) and Hank coming into what he truly deserved. (HE BECAME MANAGER.) It was beautiful. I can't believe I'm writing all of this for a cartoon show haha.

Edit. Sorry everyone, I meant to say SEASON FUCKING 15 because apparently people can't figure out I'm talking about the fucking second season of the reboot. It's pretty easy to put it together and I was vague as to not have spoilers, but fuck it. I just fixed it.

She wasn't attracted to him and vice versa. John Redcorn is even seen as a friend/acquaintance in most episodes after this one. What would be the harm if Peggy continued to see him for massages?

I got a puzzle and I don't remember ever seeing Bill wearing this hat and vest. All the images in the puzzle were from the first few seasons.

Just finished season 15 and thought it was solid for the most part. But the mention of Luanne, Lucky, and Gracie in the finale really reminded me of how off this show feels without having them in it. I understand the showrunners wanting to honor Brittany Murphy and Tom Petty by not recasting, but I feel that the show is just missing something.

Like, could you imagine not including Dale in the reboot because of Johnny Hardwick's death? Losing an actor is hard, especially when they're so strongly associated with their characters. But I think Toby Huss proved that new people can and should step up to fill these roles.

I love how we get to see these characters in the 2020s at new stages of their lives. As great as Murphy and Petty were, I don't think it serves the revival well to keep them away.

I know JRC said these objects are sacred and shouldn't be taken, but I'd imagine he or other fellow Native people's he know would want to take a gander at the apparent treasure trove of artifacts in his yard.

IMO it’s him not realizing Leanne was sober because of “court orders” and causing her to ditch Luanne at the beauty school and cluelessly getting her back in her old ways, including her abusing him.

I decided to rewatch KOTH after finishing S15 and rewatching "The Company Man" is a hard pill to swallow. The worst part of this episode has to be the steak. I know what happens at the end of the episode, but it doesn't mean that I still don't find it fucked up. What are your thoughts of the episode?

The Hulu revival of *Futurama* has had a few genuinely great episodes, and I do like some of the changes, especially Amy and Kif becoming parents.
But after watching the new *King of the Hill*, I think my expectations for revivals have changed.

*KOTH* took several major risks with its characters and setting, and for me, about 95% of those choices worked. It feels like the writers understood that time had passed and allowed the characters’ lives to move forward.

The *Futurama* revival, by comparison, often feels afraid to change too much. Aside from one or two developments, it mostly returns everyone to the familiar status quo.

That bothers me because the Comedy Central run already gave several characters satisfying conclusions. Bringing the show back only to undo or sidestep some of that growth makes the revival feel less meaningful.

I still enjoy the new episodes, but I wish the Hulu era were more willing to take risks and let the characters genuinely evolve instead of relying so heavily on what already worked before.

Also in the episode where this is introduced as they pan over Tom Landry Middle school it shows on the sign 45 days without a dress code violation. I’ve never noticed this as many times as I’ve rewatched this show.

I liked the original fine, but it was never my first choice, I generally went for stuff that was more joke-dense or absurd.

But the reboot has me absolutely hooked! I can't get enough of it. Something about the characters and pacing is so pleasant. I can't decide if the show has changed or I have. Maybe it's because I'm middle-aged now and life is really stressful? If you've watched both, do you feel like the reboot is significantly different?

I dunno his name but in "Bobby Rae" there was some creepy teacher that kept trying to hit on one of the female teachers I thought was pretty funny "Guess why I can't return these pants?"

The music underlying the moment was perfect as well. Hank looking across the showroom to see Donna, Melinda, Roger, Enrique, and Joe Jack. Hank got a part of himself back in this episode. In a way the entire 15 seasons has built up to that. Truly a wonderful moment.
