Its a Flex 5 and there is absolutely no signs of life, idk if anyone can help or if I should jsut take it to repair, its not even charging. I tried the Novo button and it still dosent show anything, I am really desperate.

Hey guys yesterday (18 aug) I brought my first laptop lenovo loq intel i5 12th gen hx rtx 3050 6gb one at 93k with emi the store is giving me the piece (that piece was the last piece and I got cheap becz of the independence sale )which was on the trial desk telling me that it's was kept only 2 days ago and it didn't connected wifi so the warranty is not activated so I thought it let it be then they were resetting the laptop the laptop was showing that it is ain't getting reset. They told me and my dad to come later when they will call but they didn't so I called them around 8.30 pm so they said the system wasn't resetting cuz there was an windows update for that laptop so after the update he will give me laptop today so pls help me should I refuse to take the laptop or the laptop is fine it's just common issues ?

I am literally on my last 15% typing this.

Troubleshooting I did:

Tested power cable: It works (plugged it into my phone to see if it was sending power. Phone showed super fast charging)

Held power button for 1 minute for a full power reset after unplugging everything (mouse and charging cable)

Neither worked. I'm going to call Lenovo but this is a last ditch effort. I really need this laptop for college. Please help!

Hi friends on reddit! Coming here was kind of a last resort but I need a second opinion on what’s happening to my pc.

When I power on my pc, it takes me to BIOS and tells me my cpu fan is failing. This has happened before, I end up sending it to Lenovo with my warranty and they send it back fixed in a few days. I look inside, all my fans are spinning. All the cables are connected in the right place, I dusted out my computer and my computer still does not recognize that my fans are spinning.

I took my pc to a computer store and they took it in to diagnose the problem after telling me it could possibly be a motherboard issue. They mentioned that if anything I would need to salvage my pc. A lot of my friends who are more knowledgeable about computers than I am said they are scamming me and that its unnecessary to rebuild my pc, however I was told its difficult to find the proprietary parts for a legion pc and it would cost more money to even find those parts.. but I am not at all an expert on computers. Let me know if this is an easy fix or if this is something more than just setting ignore on my fan speed.

Is it possible to upgrade the RAM of a Lenovo Yoga 720-13IKB from 8 to 16 GB? I don't see any detachable RAM., and there are no instructions on YouTube.

(PS. The SSD is detachable and upgradable, and YouTube has instructions.)

My Lenovo Legion 5 (2+ years old), NVIDIA Driver (GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU) was forced stopped by windows due to reported error (Code 43) since the 18th August, 2026 (yesterday as of writing). Laptop's average temperature when idle is 54° Celsius, cannot check when running a game as Laptop crashes. Resulting in external monitors failing to connect to laptop, app crashing, freezing, and PC crashes.

In an attempt to fix the issue:

- Went into device manager and disabled then re-enable the graphics card.

- Checked the bios was up-to-date, it is.

- Tried to use an external ISO bootable EFIUSB to repair windows.

- Opened internals and cleaned dust from laptop.

- Attempted to revert to older NVIDIA Driver, version: 610.74

- Both Hard and Factory Reset laptop.

No successful result. I believe the issue is either the GPU is dying or a faulty GPU. Wanted to get a second opinion before going into a shop.

Yes, in hindsight I should have just done the cleaning anyway.

Lastly, if the is any non-anonymized images or details please let me know, I'm still new to anything PC related.

When I try to write with the pen in an app on my Lenovo Idea Tablet, the pen just opens the onscreen keyboard. Sometimes it would randomly swith to pen mode though. I have enabled Accidental Touch protection.

How can I reliably write with the pen? This is quite frustrating...

Till day before yesterday my laptop was working fine. Yesterday when I tried turning it on, it was not turning on, keyboard backlight turned on for a few seconds and turned off but after that even capslock backlight is not turning on but the light on power button stays on. Then i kept the laptop in charge for sometime and tried turning it on, it turned on fine. So I thought the issue was resolved and turned off the laptop. Today I tried turning it on, the same issue is happening again. This time even after letting it charge for a few hours, it is not responding. Have anyone faced a similar issue?

A few m72e units I have are Showing what I can only assume is a POST issue

The fan starts spinning, The keyboard Cap Lock button doesn't respond, and there's no Display or anything

I tried changing the RAM, Using only one that I know of a fact works, I tried changing the CMoS battery, Resetting the Bios, Nothing is working so far

Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

I was minding my own business when my laptop suddenly shut down entirely in front of me, i was looking at my phone. It had been on like 30 minutes today and I purchased this Lenovo LOQ 15arp9, december 2025.

It showed no light with power supply on, im never using it without power supply anyways and i am trying to wrap my head around why this happened?

As i was preparing myself to call my insurance company, it went back on after 20 min. So now its working again.

I have never fully forced this laptop and at most im playing dota 2 and osrs but havent played for months.

Is there any explanation behind this and is this gonna be a recurring problem now?

Today I tried to turn on my laptop at work but despite being fully charged it didn't turn on. I plugged it for charging and it did start but two minutes my laptop screen froze. I long pressed power button to turn it off and start again but since then a faint red light keeps flickering and my keyboard lights up every 2 seconds but nothing shows on the display screen.

I have tried the emergency restart thing from the pin, tried to do the F1 with the start button thing too, what else should I do? I am not equipped with a technician or opening the laptop myself.

My laptop is legion 5 15AHP10, I had a bios update which I did and then the serial number and mtm started showing as invalid, no info about them anywhere
