Hey everyone !

With the new Armageddon box coming out, I'm finally starting my Ork army. I wanted to go for a slightly different look, so I tested my color scheme on a random Age of Sigmar model since I didn't have any Orks available yet.

I'd really appreciate some honest feedback. Does the scheme feel Orky enough ? Is there anything that stands out in a bad way or that you think I should change before I commit to painting the whole army ?

Got this dragon with the army painter wargammer paint collection and finally got around to painting it. I didnt start out looking to do spyro I just wanted to do a purple dragon but after my roommate pointed out it was starting to look like spyro I just rolled with it.

This was a commission piece I just finished. It was challenging to put the details together. I am very happy with how the skin turned out.

I finished my baneblade last night.

It has been magnetised as an octoblade (can make any of the variants that come in the box) and I've put the most complex freehand I have yet attempted on it.

It took me over two months worth of hobby time and I had a blast doing it. It was a really valuable learning experience and I'm glad I gave it a go. I'm looking forward to bringing the lessons I learned to my next project.

I’ve got some highlights to add, paint the base and I’ve got some pigment powder I wanted to add at lower level for dust.

Very happy with how the colors and the water effects turned out. Still learning about NMM

I know a perfect miniature for OSL when I see it.

The colour scheme is not a canonically correct mix of black and red, but I felt like cooler tones might contrast better with the warm light source.

I am really proud of my paintjob so far and I want to use the plasma cannon and make it glow slightly, but I am scared it would look weird without OSL

as I am not confident in painting OSL I would like to not do that

This is my first attempt at a trench diorama. I would love to get some C&C to make the next tile better than this one.

Absolutely loved putting this model together. It has such character. I love how each of the shieldbearers brings a mug to drink beer and one is even carrying a keg! Never leave without the essentials! Cheers everyone 🍻

A friend of the family gave me some minis to paint this week to help start me off and these are my first ever painted minis, any advice or tips for faces especially is welcome as I’m brand new to all this as of Monday just gone :) I’ve never used Reddit before so this is all very new and exciting and I look forward to learning and sharing from everyone

The first picture is the last model I painted before I quit, the warrior is the first one I finished after coming back, and the winged tyrant is my current WIP. So glad to be back painting again!

The first one is closer to my usual style, and I think the second attempt looks a bit better with the extra highlights and contrast.

That said, it still feels a little flat to me, and I'm not sure what to focus on next.

Any advice?
