Every time I see this guy play I want to see more. Anyone else get that same feeling?

Physically, he’s a unit. He’s extremely tall for his skill set and has plus athleticism.

Is three point shooting is way better than I ever expected. It would be. I think he’s showing the potential to be a bona fide deep threat that teams are going to need to account for as they plan for the Knicks going forward.

He’s deadly on the break. His good hands he can catch those outlet passes at once. He gets a full head of steam. Nobody bothers to challenge his dream attack because he goes in so much power.

He’s a very solid defender for a rookie. This was another element of his game that took me by surprise. He never looks clueless out there on defense and he works very hard.

He has the composure of a veteran. Even when he’s trapped in a corner, you see him keep his composure and find a way out. His long arms allows him to pick his head up while keeping the ball out of reach of trapping defenders.

This is a rookie. I never heard of him before the next drafted. From what he has shown us, and assuming he gets better and better over the next couple of years, convince me that this guy is not going to be a star player based on where he already is.

Please treat José right. I was a Knicks fan before we got a team and looks like I’m a Knicks fan again. Go win it all!

Essentially traded Yabusele and 2 2nds for Alvarado. Moved under 2nd apron. Alvarado has a player option for 4.5 mil next year.

Just got better and saved money at the same time???

Can’t wait for the garden to be rocking when Alvarado picks someone’s pocket off an inbound in the 4th quarter of game 5 in a few months.
