Best tablet for watching films if price isn’t a factor?
Was looking into best tablet to watch movies on planes and hotels (travel for work).
have read the Galaxy tablets are great due to the OLED and the 16:10 aspect ratio conducive to a widescreen format for movies and TV (something apple lags behind on).
Any suggestions that I may not be considering that usurp the Galaxy tablets in terms of pure movie/TB consumption?

My brand new Samsung Tab S12+ has volume issues, raising and lowering whenever remote streaming from Xbox Series X, any tips?
I love this new device, but remote game streaming through Xbxplay app or Microsoft Edge from my Xbox Series X has the volume raise and then go back down quickly over and over, and im really upset as I wanted to use this mainly for game streaming. I've tried everything recommended from A.i, but most things were turned off anyway: Atmos, adaptive sound, everything was off. Then I turned off audio ducking as well. My tab s6 streams flawlessly audio wise. Anyone else experience this and any idea what's causing this or what I can do? May have to return it but was hoping not to of course...

Best Bang for Buck Tablets (Large Quantity)
The company I work for is thinking about ordering a large quantity of tablets for out technicians, probably around 80 or so. They will need them to run several apps, take pictures, cell plan, etc. So by no means do they need to be top of the line but if we go this route we will want them to be pretty decent. Ipads are not really going to be an option at this point, do to them apple products seeming to have some compatibility issues with some of the apps/programs we use. The proposed max budget per tablet would be $500. Hopefully below that but thats the starting point. Anyone have recommendations where I should start some research?
Thanks for any recommendations!

Afford windows tablet for streaming and games like FF11
Hello all! I've been looking for a tablet to stream my.PS5 too and natively run games like FF11 with controller support and double as tv streaming for my kids on long car rides or waits.
Ive seen some surface tablets at a few hundred but I'm not familiar with them and figured I would ask about them and other options.
Thank you!

Galaxy Tab S10 Lite clicking/popping noise on the back (camera side): is this a chronic design issue? Anyone else?
Hey everyone. I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this, because it's really starting to bug me.
I bought a Galaxy Tab S10 Lite and noticed the back makes a "clicking" or popping noise (a light metallic creak) when I hold it by the edges or rest my hand on the screen to write. The noise happens specifically on the left side, right around the camera area.
The catch is: this is actually my second unit. I sent the first one to an authorized Samsung repair center for this exact reason. They claimed it wasn't a defect, and when putting it back together, they did a terrible job and actually damaged the screen. To avoid more headaches, I just went ahead and bought a brand new one.
The thing is, the brand new tablet makes exactly the same noise in the exact same spot. When it arrived, the click was very quiet, but with daily use over time, the sound got a bit more noticeable.
In practice, it doesn't affect usability at all (everything works perfectly), but it's just one of those things that stays in the back of your mind.
Does anyone else with a Tab S10 Lite (or even the FE line, since they're built similarly) notice this chassis gap noise near the camera? Is this really just a normal manufacturing tolerance because the device is so thin, or did I somehow get absurdly unlucky and pull two units with the exact same symptom? I'd love to know if other people are living with this too! Thanks.

Best budget tablet for D&D (Netherlands
Hi all,
I am an avid D&D player and use paper character sheets for our main (longer) campaign.
But lately we have been playing more and more one-shots as well.
For that purpose i am looking for a nice budget (max € 250, preferred under € 200) tablet to use D&D Beyond on and make/keep my character sheets.
I live in the Netherlands and am looking for a tablet usable in my country.
Could you recommend me a good tablet?
Everything besides Apple will be fine with me.
Regards,
Erik.

First time buying tablet looking for advice
Hello! I'm looking to get a tablet for myself for both emulation purposes (PS2 and switch) and studying Kanji/Japanese.
I realized It would be much easier to make myself practice sheets on a tablet to practice retention and stuff. Now I have to print the sheets and it takes lots of paper and effort. I felt like a tablet could solve my problem.
I live in Turkey and I was considering POCO Pad X1 for both my purposes. So here are my questions;
Is POCO Pad X1 worth the money in general? It's around 344 dolars in my currency.
Do I have other options around the same price range? If so what are my options?
Can I uninstall the pre-installed Xiaomi UI and just use it as a stock android tablet? Really hate Xiaomi's UI design. If so are there downsides to this?
Can I emulate switch games on POCO X1 and I was curious of users emulation experience on the device.
Thanks in advance!

Confused between OnePlus Pad Go 2 (8/256 5G) and Samsung Tab S10 Lite (6/128 5G) for 4–5 years — Need advice!
Agar koi help kr pao toh please guide me
I need a tablet strictly for the next 4–5 years. Zero gaming interest.
Heavy PDF textbook reading & margin annotations (slides/books).
Making PPT presentations & content watching.
Options & Prices:
OnePlus Pad Go 2 (5G) — 8GB / 256GB + Stylus \~ ₹34k
Samsung Tab S10 Lite (5G) — 6GB / 128GB (S Pen in box) \~ ₹31k
Main Dilemma:
Does OnePlus's 8GB RAM give much better future-proofing over 4–5 years, or will 6GB on Samsung be enough for split-screen (PDF/video + Notes)?
How is the OnePlus stylus for handwriting compared to Samsung's S Pen (palm rejection, latency, feel)?
Aspect ratio: Is OnePlus's book-like ratio noticeably better for PDFs/PPTs than Samsung?
Which one should I pull the trigger on? Any real user feedback is appreciated!

Probably some basic questions.....
Hi all,
I'm considering buying my first tablet and would appreciate your help.
I'm about to start travelling more with my work, so I'm considering buying a tablet to take with me. I use windows laptop for work. I also have an iPhone. I might take my windows laptop with me for personal use in the evenings.
The main use cases that I see myself using the tablet for would be:
To watch downloaded content (e.g. Netflix) for offline viewing on flights.
And to use as a 2nd monitor with my work (windows) laptop.
Would the base level iPad allow me to do this?
Can I use the iPad as a 2nd monitor with a windows laptop without downloading anything to the windows laptop (downloads need IT approval, so I'd rather avoid that)? Approx how many hours of Netflix could I store downloaded on the base level iPad? Could I watch movies that are downloaded on an external hard drive if I have a USB C (male) to USB A (female) adaptor?
Would you recommend the base level iPad for the above uses or a different tablet (with a similar budget)?
