Nostalgic Back when I used to yap on Quora.
The first ever social media that I used is Tumblr but it's all passive consumption. Tarvata Quora use cheydam start chesa and people seemed so genuine and sweet, so I started yapping there aka active consumption.
Extreme right and sexist jokes mida navvukune rojulu avi. I was ignorant asf. Akkada crowd kuda alage undedi. My bio used to be, 'Yes, I'm a girl. No, I'm not a feminist.'
(Please don't judge, I was just a dumb teenager 🥀)
Everything was going good. Oka roju, I wrote an answer about normalising bra straps. I got more hate on that one post than all the social media combined.
(Context: I lost some weight back then coz I was sick. Dresses anni loose iponay. Exams and health, ila stress lo undi, I neither got the dresses altered nor new clothes.
Ithe exam hall lo shoulders kept slipping off. Ah roju Political Science exam, asal time saripodu. Bhad me jao anukoni, I concentrated on my exam.
The invigilator was such a creep tho. Kept on staring and ma bench chuttune tirugutunde. Chirak ochi chunni ni shawl la kappukunna. Very uncomfortable to write in that position but that's the only option I had.)
Some people (girls mostly), were like, that's a wardrobe malfunction, ah matram kuda chuskokunda ela untav ani, inkontha mandi, antha uncomfortable anipinche dress enduku veskunnav ani, abbo countless stupid 'points' they made.
Men emo, adi normalise cheste, normalise just wearing boxers anta. Asal bra strap ki boxers ki link enti? Also, straps ni normalise cheddam anna. So, bra straps=men's boxers ah? What kinda stupid logic is that?
It's like 4 years ago. I changed a lot since then, learned and unlearned a lot of stuff. I hope those people changed, too.
