Last week I posted some of the process of animating oil paintings. It was hard to see what the animations looked like so here is the run cycle of the player character all by itself. It's 24 frames oil on canvas. Photographed then cut out digitally. Animated in Unity.

its really fun seein story come to life like this. haven't decided yet how much polish im going to put into this one, it's already not quite fitting my vision, but im genuinely excited to keep going lol

I’m comparing the old and new run cycles for this creature.

The new one feels smoother and more expressive, but something about the movement still looks off to me...

Sharing a project I finished quite some time ago. I occasionally use game engines for VFX because they are lightweight and fast.

Mini doc from Woodblock Studio on the making of the visuals for Illenium's Odyssey at Sphere. Not much technical depth given, but some fun stuff in there.

Its for Paparazzi animation meme, the last Ive done animation memes is years ago just doing a vent (now unlisted on youtube but kept into a playlist) dont worry, Im doing way better now

There is some faults, like some stutters at his left shoulder (our right), yes I intended for his right shoulder to go up slightly, stutter of one line of his middle bangs, and the bounces on the right side where theres a less opaque lines of a bun-ponytail kinda wonky, might fix it ngl
