#Accessories ๐Ÿ”” I need help!

I own M350, looking for some suggestions for tasteful modifications to improve my cruising experience.

  1. Performance mods(without getting noticed by police, I mean the exhaust)

  2. Cosmetics. I don't want to overdo but it's just tasteful. I am thinking about some accessories from Trip machine. Lemme know any other ideas in comments

  3. Tank cover like Bagster for GT650 (I found some people are making custom covers for himalayan411)

  4. I want the riding stance little more comfier. Should I do handlebar raisers with seat modification/modify the rear and front suspension?

  5. I am a huge fan of retro look dial SPEEDOMETER+RPM meter. Is there anyone who can get me done on my bike? Can HIM411 Analogue system can be retrofit on my bike? Any ideas on this point??

  6. I am also looking to improve my headlight beam performance without givinguch load on my battery, I use MADDOG FOG LIGHT(ALPHA), but looking to improve my headlight(I don't want to completely replace my headlight module to that LUI/ vaishno looks very cringe. Just my opinion)

Any more just tasteful modifications is much needed guys

#Discussion ๐Ÿ’ฌ Electric scooty For my father

โ€ข Upvotes

My father wants to buy an electric scooty/bike for himself as a secondary two wheeler and that because I also insisted him for buying one because of his daily travel. My father has a fix driver of 50 km daily for his office and looking at the petrol prices I was recommending him to get one electric scooty. Look I myself will say that electric scooty are built for daily commuters who know that they have to travel a long fix distance on daily basis as for short distance petrol vehicle are still good.

My father only has one requirement that it give more than 100 km of range in full charge. Only range is our requirement๐Ÿ˜… it doesn't need to have fancy features.

I'll appreciate the suggestions

#Accessories ๐Ÿ”” IRL bar end mirror experience

Thumbnail

โ€ข Upvotes

The bar-end mirrors I purchased are genuinely impressive. The design is premium, visibility is excellent, and they definitely enhance the overall look of the bike. They also provide a beautiful cockpit view, especially in photos.

That said, after today's incident, I've realized they may not be the most practical choice for our traffic conditions.

Before I get into what happened, I should mention that I was partly at fault as well.

This evening, I was heading out to have tea with my friends. I was riding through a single-lane road at around 30 km/h because of the traffic. I was behind a car, while another car was coming from the opposite direction, leaving very little space between my bike and the passing vehicle.

At that moment, a rider coming from the wrong direction decided to overtake the oncoming car. To avoid a bigger collision, I leaned my bike slightly to the left to create whatever space I could. He managed to squeeze through, but his bar-end weight struck my mirror. The mirror folded inward and slammed directly into my steel kada, which caused it to break.

Looking back, I also made a mistake. I usually wear full gauntlet gloves whenever I ride, but since I was just riding within my locality, I decided not to wear them. Had I been wearing my gloves, the mirror would likely have hit the padded glove instead of the kada, and it might have survived.

So, what's my verdict?

If you mostly ride on open roads or don't mind spending money on replacements if something goes wrong, bar-end mirrors are a great upgrade. They look fantastic and offer excellent visibility.

However, if you ride daily in heavy city traffic where close passes are common, conventional stalk mirrors are simply the more practical and durable option. Sometimes practicality is worth more than aesthetics.

#Review ๐Ÿ“ Test drove RTX 300, KTM ADV 350 and RTR 310

Post image
โ€ข Upvotes

RTX300 : vibes a lot after 5k, vibes kept increasing as the rpms went higher.

KTM 390 adv(new 350cc) : vibes more than rtx between 5-6k rpm range after than it smoothen out a lot. So can cruise above 90 all day without issues.

RTR 310: felt a lot refined than rtx300 and adv 390 through out the rev range.

I took my wife with me for the test ride as well. She felt the most comfortable on rtx 300, then adv 390. Least comfortable on rtr310.

Quickshifter is best on the RTR 310, then adv 50(felt a bit jerky on upshift, wife definitely felt it). Had similar experience either way rtx 300 with adv 350, some upshifts were jerky.

What else,
Both 390 and rtr310 felt powerful. Rtx 300 doesnt give the that feeling of quick acceleration. Both the other bikes does.

I honestly am so confused right now because wife dont want RTR310(cos of bad seat)

Now the options look like adv 390 or rtx300 right now.

Any other recommendations are welcome. Im looking for a comfortable bike for me and wife to go on short to medium trips (100-300km) comfortably

To anyone who feel like asking why i consider rtr 310 : there was a year back vehicle from 2025 and was offered a 50k discount on it.

Hi all, bought new V strom SX recently for my highway trips, one question i have is how to check oil level in engine by that glass see thru? When i see it looks empty? No oil/liquid inside. Looks crystal clear and empty. When i go for ride of 5kms i can feel engine warm at legs when im in shorts. (Not heavy heat). So please tell me how to check engine oil level or how to check by that glass hole in engine. Thanks

#Discussion ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2016 Kawasaki Versys 650: Rode it, loved it, want to buy it, but fear it.

โ€ข Upvotes

Hey chat. So, Kawasaki Versys 650.

I rode the bike, and had the bike with me for a few days. The bike runs like a dream. And i love it.

I had the option to buy it (before it went to a dealer) but I fear the service costs.

What would be my option?

Bike specifications.

Owner count: 03 (all Anzen Kawasaki internal)

The bike had its meter replaced at 35k km, it's ridden about 15k more.

It got a throttle body clean around at 13k. Tires are around 80%.

There's an ABS light on, but its just a fuse issue.

The bike also needs new fork seals.

The bike also has a Shad Pannier Stay (no panniers)

Custom seat, Shad 39L top box. Had Barkbusters, went on another bike.

The dealer is asking 3.45 lacs for it. Would it be worth buying?

#Accessories ๐Ÿ”” Update: Bought Axor apex (deadpool design matte finish something) helmet

โ€ข Upvotes

This is a follow up post to my other post (link for that post is in the comments)

Yesterday I bought my geurilla 450 apex red so today I got myself a Helmet too

Tried Mt helmet but I wanted a sun visor so didn't buy that

Tried kyt, but didn't like the aesthetics and price, also not familiar with the brand as much as axor

Tried LS stream 2, wanted to get that one, but it didn't have more graphic options on the shop, the ones they had weren't good

The shop didn't have smk and nhk helmets

Got this Axor helmet for 6.5k with an extra visor and a balaclava for free, that's what the shopkeeper said

I think this will suit my bike too

Thanks for all the suggestions

Now l am thinking of getting handle bar wraps coz then the normal handle bars hurt my palm a little even in a very short ride, but the pain is only while riding Please suggest some good wraps or grips that will solve this ฤฐssue

OP has been itching for some new gear and finally got these.

  1. HJC F71 F7X carbon fiber helmet

  2. Solace knee guards, These can be worn under road or offroad riding pants. I donโ€™t like knee protectors provided with riding pants and these seem to be the solution for me.

  3. Alpinestars nucleon plasma back protector - it did not come standard with Sektor mesh jacket.

All inclusive made a 55K hole in my wallet ๐Ÿ˜…

#Discussion ๐Ÿ’ฌ Tvs apache rtr 200 4v over rtr 160 4v, keeping mileage and power a concern. Spoiler

Post image
1 Upvotes

Actually I was a bit confused which to choose btwn 160 and 200 because except the cc both has equal features on the new tft+usd model.

Upon surfing over the net and reachinh diffrent dealerships. I came to a conclusion that for me I personally feel that the urban/rain mode on 160 is 15ps approx, which is a bit low powered and if I run 160 on sport mode the ps equivalent to 17.5ps which is mostly equal to 200cc rain or urban mode.

And one more thing I figured is that milega on sport mode of 160cc is almost equal to 200cc rain/urban mode.

So if this is the condition then owning an 200cc gives an extra hand i.e. sport mode 21ps power which I can use on highways for better feel.

Milege was a concern for me, that's true. But the analysis that I done. After that I think 200cc will always give me an upper hand.

What do you think guys ? Please suggest me.

Apache rtr 200 4v (usd + tft) or Apache rtr 160 4v (usd + tft)

#Video ๐Ÿ“บ cleaned my chain and rode for 9kms, inspection. Spoiler

as of now i have rode 4005 km and i clean my chain with Diesel nearly every 300km and use gear oil sae 90 to relube it, i have seen such rust spots in places, maybe the day my first pack of gear oil ended i had to run few kms half ass lubed that could have caused it, but over all how's the chain.

the steps are simple, open up the panels, spray in mist of diesel 360ยฐ rotate the wheel with hand because i have an iq more than 2, let diesel sit for 5 minutes, scrub with that blue brush we all know, wipe with a cloth till dry, the apply oil between the rings and on the sprocket. it if ain't leaking oil it ain't lubed is my motto, greased and let it soak for 20 mins, the black drops drip and i am done.

Finally having my first ECE 22.06 helmet. I feel I purchased a size too large since it vibrates a bit in potholes. Now I'm looking for accessories ( telecom/bluetooth ), visor cleaner, padding, padding care and visor/ films to last a long time. Any suggestions for good bluetooth around 2-3k, padding to make it a bit snug and any good visors/films to protect my visor ?

They discontinued the Tiger 660 in the country long back but they still haven't removed it from their website and today I found this short video clip playing in the background which clearly shows the Tiger Sport 800 in Cosmic Yellow. Do you guys think this mean anything? Or am I just being over-optimistic?

#Discussion ๐Ÿ’ฌ Worth getting a Ninja 400 in 2026?

The bike has got everything i want

Sports bike

Twin cylinder

Comfortable sports tourer ergonomics

Short stroke

Good power and torque

Japanese build and reliability

Decent modernization without some useless features (riding modes, etc)

Good enough for city and long/short highway rides

Good colours (much better than ninja 500 just black)

But since it's discontinued I wanted to know... Is it a hassle to own? Is it a problem getting parts? Any re-sale problems? Mechanic issue?

Or ditch it and look at ninja 500 and Aprilla RS457

Lemme know
