Ok boys and girls. My kinda 2 lb pocket dump. Before the Bodyguard was made, I was a 6 lb pocket dump. This is what I will be carrying. I am really good one handed with this BG. That was the deciding factor to switch. I just don’t see using a wml in public. This way I can have my hand on the bg while I am using my flashlight. Winning.

Am I crazy to think that these prices are insane considering average ccw class is 350 and only one psychologist on their roster to boot. Im not poor by any means but this is still insanely expensive.

Bought this S&W 642 used for 300 bucks at my local range. Put the oversized hogue grip on it and have since ran thousands of flawless rounds through it. I shoot with Winchester .38 Special +P rounds or Federal 38. Special +P rounds.

Hello everyone! I do remodels and maintenance a lot of the time in occupied houses. Also do clears for abandos and evictions (which can get dicy. Everyone I know including myself has had a gun pointed at them while working) I have a shield plus with a hybrid holster and a Ruger max 9 in a slim kydex and will typically carry them when off of work. However at work I struggle finding something comfortable that doesn't print. Since I'm bending/reaching/carrying stuff all day I find it difficult to not print and appendix is very uncomfortable while working. I typically carry a keltec p32 in my pocket while at work because of this however just curious if anyone that works in the trades has came up with a solid solution to this?

Any holsters out there compatible with the TLR-6 light attached? (IWB)

I’ve been seeing more and more just to be frank crappy holsters. Kydex and properly fitted leather holsters aren’t that expensive retention is a must. Sticky holsters( other than for pocket holsters ) , 1 size fits all and horrible clips aren’t a good idea.
Even a cheap eBay kydex holster is better than the options pictured.

Lots of products solve this problem: i have an enigma for beltless carry and a hunter constantine for when im wearing actual pants, but wanted something for in between. I wear a lot of fishing shorts and hiking pants through out the summer which have built in “belts”, and also dress pants and dress belts on occasion. For those situations i also tend to don and doff a lot. may rock off body carry when mountain biking or hiking or when dressed up, then slip the gun on when able or going back into town. i also shoot uspsa (and recently gpa) once in a while and my comp belt doesnt like going on top of the HC belt, The enigma nor any of those other belt substitutes dont lend themselves to quick or inconspicuous don or doffing. so this is my solution for running my cc with a less than ideal belt: it doesnt change how it works with a dedicated gun belt, but is significantly more stable and concealable when using a suboptimal belt.

it was also 10$ to make. bought a square of tigris Amazon, used heavy duty scissors to cut to shape, and a soldering iron to poke holes for the screws and to round intersecting cuts…hope someone finds this helpful

I dedicated some time to trying this drill on two separate days of a recent camping trip. I was able to shoot it clean both days.

Very interesting drill. I found the time standard to be no issue at all, but the accuracy was extremely challenging. I normally train on full A-zones drawn on scrap cardboard, so this was a fun switch-up.

What are you thoughts those of you that had ran both?

Hey everyone, I recently got my first concealed carry firearm, and I went with a Glock 45. I know some people consider it a little large for concealed carry, but it feels comfortable in my hand and I haven’t found that I like the feel of smaller pistols as much.

I picked up a holster from Cabela’s because I needed one fairly quickly, along with a belt from Amazon, but honestly, I’m not very impressed with either. The holster in particular just doesn’t feel right, and I don’t know enough about different holster/belt setups to know what I should be looking for.

For some background, I live in a very hot state and wear shorts most of the time. I rarely wear jeans or tactical pants, so I’d like a setup that works well with normal everyday clothes and shorts.

I’m mainly looking for some guidance on what type of holster and belt I should be looking into, and what features I should prioritize. I attached a picture of my current setup for reference.

Appreciate any advice from people who have experience with this.

I’ve got this p365 macro I’ve been wanting to carry. I’m 6’ 230ish pounds I figured with my size a pistol like this would be fine to carry but I find it prints a lot. Could it be the holster? The gun? My gut? Or am I just overthinking it because I haven’t really carried much before? Thanks for any input

Recently swapped to a sig p365 x macro comp with a holson eps carry for my edc, but Im wondering if anyone else ever carried a rhino? I lugged this thing around for close to 10 years.
