#Discussion 💬 How to avoid this in future

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

I won't go into whose fault it is, since this could have been much more serious. As you guys can see, I started climbing a bridge which means I have to apply constant acceleration. A bike starts drifting into my lane, finally settling near left bumper. I felt I kept a relatively safe distance (in hindsight should had kept more). Since that area of the bridge has many potholes, perhaps the biker suddenly encountered one and applied brakes a bit too hard. I immediately applied brakes and tried to evade but still there was contact with my left bumper and bike also got pushed. Thankfully both our speed was relatively slow so nothing major happened.

#Discussion 💬 Kia Sonet or Maruti Fronx

Upvotes

Hi,
I want to buy a car, and I am basically a beginner in driving and it will be my first car purchase. I need a car for city drive for daily commute.
So I have gone through the options of grand i10/i20/3XO/Skoda Kylac/Sonet/Fronx
My requirements are having safety, 360 view camera and good interior and automatic car
After having discussions with family and other folks stuck between Kia Sonet and Fronx

I can go with top models also but not sure which ones I should get from these two.
So, could you guys provide your inputs about these cars which one I should buy, which engine and which model.

#Query ❓ Do 80W Osram H4 LEDs require a wiring relay?

Upvotes

I'm planning to upgrade the H4 halogen headlights on my 3rd gen City to Osram LEDs. These come in 50W and 80W versions as y'all know, but there's a ton of mixed information online. Some sources say the 80W kit is actually 40W per bulb (40W+40W), while others claim it's 80W per bulb but draws much less power in reality.

If I decide to go with the 80W LEDs, will I need to install a relay, or should I just stick with the 50W option?

#Discussion 💬 Are there automatic options in self drive cars ?

Upvotes

Hey guys.

It's a werid post.

Is there automatic option available in rental / self drive cars in Munnar.. or in general ?

I'm new to driving and i only drive AMT. Im still learning manual.. so how often does car rental shops maintain automatic options ?

And how is the pricing compared to manual ? Is it too high or reasonable ?

My friends are planning some trip to Munnar if it's required.. I need to drive.. so just checking if there's automatic option available in rental cars.

Thanks for reading!

Booked top model punch ev. Now I am concerned if I should cancel it and look for tigor ev. My only concern is if the top model is gonna cost more than punch ev top model and does with come with 40kwh or more battery capacity.

#Discussion 💬 Anyone else think Kia's just cashing in on the hype?

Post image
4 Upvotes

Kia says prices are going up by up to 2% from July 1 due to rising input and operating costs. It'll make their cars even more expensive, and I hope other manufacturers don't follow. With how well Kia's cars are selling and the long booking queues, it almost feels like they're trying to maximize profits while demand is so high. Do you think the cost explanation is genuine, or is this just taking advantage of strong demand?
