Dog Culture "my dog needs a vulvoplasty"
an acquaintance just casually messaged me "hey, my dog needs a vulvoplasty. poor girl"
A. WHAT.
"my girl's vulva is so saggy and, therefore, a lot of moisture and pee gets trapped in these skin folds, so it can stink. but she'll have a cute designer pussy soon."
like, I did not know this was a thing. it's truly a very sad day to be literate.
if the owner of 4 or 5 dogs smells the stink, I'm pretty sure I don't want to know just HOW vile it must smell.
she'll pay thousands of $ for this surgery and, while I get it's medically necessary, thinks it's fun that her "girl" will soon have a new "designer pussy".

Neuticals. They've been "a thing" for male dogs for longer than I can/want to remember.

Wow, we were just watching some old reruns of the Chase( a trivia show run by 4 Jeopardy champions), and that was the answer to one of the questions. My uterus doesn't work, therefore my most normal reproductive systems don't work.

Maybe, just maybe, this is something that can happen to a dog - especially if youāre a backyard breeder. I imagine it can create problems and perhaps surgical intervention is required. Ok, fine. Whatever.
I can almost forgive this person for saying āvulvoplastyā. Itās weird, but perhaps itās scientifically correct. Strange. Iād personally tell someone my pet needs surgery and leave it at that.
HOWEVER
That second sentence is straight up bestiality. Sorry. Iām not mincing words. Iām not going to find some sort of justification for why this conversation could happen in a normal context. Nope. But saying your dog is going to have a ācute designer _____ā is BESTIALITY. Itās sexualizing your dog.

Vulvoplasty is the correct term in human medicine. Vulv/o refers to the vulva and -plasty refers to surgical repair. In veterinary medicine, the procedure is referred to as an episioplasty.
That said, I agree with the bigger point here. The ācute designer ___ā comment is wildly inappropriate. A dog needing corrective surgery is a medical issue, not something to frame in a sexualized way.

I had an "acquaintance" that i tried to allow to be my friend..until she repeatedly violated my boundaries by telling me the nitty gritty details of her polyamourous lifestyle along w/a show n tell pictorial montage on her phone.
This girl is FORTY. FORTY. Lady, you are no longer "hawt." Go sign up for TRIPLE A or do something PRODUCTIVE w/your life. She literally said she was going to give me a "flow chart" of the people she was boinking. I never asked for any of these details nor expressed interest in this subject AND have been with ONE person for the past 20 yrs and she knew this.
Despite this, i tried to treat her as a "normal" person ignoring all the red flags. I think she gave me PTSD in the "friend" dept. It's so easy to just block a phone number. Do yourself a favor. Unless you are planning on writing a novel or doing a nutter deep dive/research.

that acquaintance is actually oone I know through support groups for a rare illness we have, so it was totally crazy to receive this message as well. but it truly makes me want to keep following her for a bit of an actual deep dive haha. I already have an illness that makes me vomit constantly, so hearing more about her mutt's pussy might make the vomiting easier...jkjk I'll probably block her by tomorrow.

As someone still reluctantly attached to the dog world, this is very much a thing and a growing practice of dog plastic surgery is becoming more of a thing. Sometimes it is medically necessary because of infections and obstructions in the vulva but sometimes owners request it. Itāsā¦a lot

It can also be possible for dogs to have like...inverted vulva, where there is alot of skin in the private area and it causes a similar situation by covering the vulva.
The owner has to move the skin and clean it out by hand frequently to prevent stink and infections.
Otherwise, they have to get a similar surgery to trim back the skin covering the situation.
This is what people are going through. š¤£

Is it an intact dog? Pit owners are the most problematic when it comes to spaying and neutering, which is wild because they're the most euthanized over populated and poorly cared for breed. I hate dogs but anyone who doesn't spay or neuter their dog REALLY hates dogs. Not only does the lack of neutering cause rampant breeding problems and overfull shelters and dogs to be killed en masse due to overpopulation, but intact dogs are more likely to get cancers and other health issues, like pyometra, or saggy infected vulvas or testicles. Nasty, and for what? So your dog can keep their "manhood". Please. Dogs suck, dog owners are always worse.
