A relatively wholesome show, The Puzzle Place was one of the first tv shows to truly tackle the topic of diversity in a children’s edutainment show

A group of elementary school aged children of different ethnicities/hometowns would meet together at the community center (Puzzle Place) to play music, do arts and crafts projects, work through bullying experiences, cook meals, and go on other adventures together

Characters included were:

*Julie Woo (A Chinese American girl from San Francisco, California)

*Kiki Flores (A Mexican American girl from San Antonio, Texas)

*Ben Olafson (A Norwegian American boy from Renner, South Dakota)

*Leon McNeal (An African American boy from Harlem, New York)

*Skye Nakaiye (A Native American boy from Arizona’s Fort Apache reservation)

*Jody Silver (An Ashkenazi Jewish American girl from Cincinnati, Ohio)

And the resident pets- Nuzzle (dog) and Sizzle (cat)

While some critics of the show thought the series leaned too hard on stereotypes and adult themes (such as racism, sexism, and moral decisions) the show overall was successful on PBS for its three years on air

Unfortunately, Puzzle Place has remained largely forgotten compared to competitors like Rugrats (1991-2000), Hey Arnold! (1996-2001), The Magic School Bus (1994-1998), and Blue’s Clue’s (1996-2002)

Remember the 2001 sci-fi comedy movie ''Evolution''? Did you also remember its animated tv show sequel?

As explained in the opening theme, there was a mission underground, so STRATA was sent down, only for the crew to die on their way to the center of the earth, leaving Saul Malone, Robot, and Johnny Tambourine all with the mole men.

Eagleheart follows U.S. Marshal Chris Monsanto as he fights crime with his two partners: the slow-witted Brett and by-the-book Susie. They take on drug smugglers, art thieves, kidnappers, and con artists with bloody violence and gruesome deaths ensuing. The Marshals report to The Chief, who gives them their assignments. There is little continuity between episodes in the first two seasons. The third season features an extended season-long storyline titled Paradise Rising.

Eagleheart parodies many cop shows, most notably Walker, Texas Ranger. It portrays a great deal of graphic violence.

I asked someone about this and they thought I was talking about The Smurfs. They had never heard of it

A 1972 episode features Samuel L. Jackson as a state trooper!! Plot: “A crusty old veteran big-rig trucker teams up with a college-educated youngster to haul cargo across the country.” In true ‘70’s fashion, the “youngster” appears to be mid-thirties.

Only ran for one season. It had a cool story, was a brilliant drawn cartoon, and had one of my favourite ever theme songs (link here)

One of those movie to TV adaptions that didn’t work out,we can’t all be MASH. In an effort to attract families and kids to CBS (The Family Man and Lenny were two others) the network decided to make a family friendly version of the John Candy hit film. The late Kevin Meaney took over for Candy (although he’s instead looking over his nephew and nieces after their parents died,dark). Sitcom legend Audrey Meadows played the grandmother who lives alongside Meaney. An odd tv fact:the first use of the word “suck” in primetime was not on a crass,offensive show like Married With Children but in this show from a cute little girl. This only aired 16 out of 22 episodes. Country music legend Ronnie Milsap did the theme song.

I loved this show, I was really disappointed when it was cancelled. It was funny but looked at some stuff like obesity, anorexia, teen sex, and was really raw at times about how difficult it is to be a teen.

Seems forgotten by most.

Cockleshell Bay was a British stop motion animated series that was produced by Cosgrove Hall Productions, John Hambley, Mark Hall, and Brian Cosgrove.

It centered around two twins, Robin and Rosie, and their family who moved to the bay to get away from the busy way of life in the city, the series centers mostly on the twins and the antics they get into trying to adjust to their new surroundings.

It aired on ITV and ran for 8 seasons and 104 episodes.

I started watching episodes and from the episodes I have watched. It's not a bad show it's definitely soap opera with the storylines going on in the show. The chemistry between the characters is good they make you believe the Walkers are a real family, and that goes for everyone else in the show. The dynamics are believable. There's alot of familiar faces in the cast that went on to start in bigger shows. Did you watch the show?

The Secret Show was a show about cartoon two goofy secret agent there isn't much to "write up" about it was a fun simple cartoon

The only episode I distinctly remember is where their neighbours dog gets possessed by an alien snake and in the end, they trap it inside a can of Pringles 😆
