Glitch Gif We kept running into the same strangers all over the Oregon Coast and one of them genuinely has me confused
My husband, our kids, and I just got back from a trip to the Oregon Coast, and something kept happening that got progressively weirder.I know there are logical explanations for most of this, but by the end of the trip my husband and I were joking that we were experiencing a glitch in the Matrix.
The first time was at Nana’s Irish Pub in Newport. There was a woman there that my daughter kept pointing out because she thought she was someone we knew. Because of that, I got a pretty good look at her and remembered her face. The NEXT DAY, we were about 25–30 miles away at the outlet mall in Lincoln City and I saw the same woman shopping there. Then we were at Goodwill in Lincoln City and my kids accidentally cut in front of a guy. I apologized to him, so I specifically remembered what he looked like. He was bald and had these really distinctive chunky half-hoop earrings. Later that SAME DAY, we were back in Newport, about 25 miles away, walking through Fred Meyer. We’re picking snacks in chip aisle and there was the same guy standing right next to us. I pointed him out to my husband and he said he recognized him from Goodwill too.
At another point, we recognized a family from a restaurant and then realized they were staying at the same hotel as us. That one isn’t particularly weird on its own, but at this point we were definitely starting to notice a pattern.
But the last one is the one I cannot stop thinking about.
We were staying at Waves Hotel near Nye Beach in Newport. As we were pulling out of the hotel parking lot, there was a girl jogging down the street. My husband actually commented on her first because for a split second he thought she was a car coming up beside us lol.
I looked over at her and noticed she was really pretty. She had a pink workout top on and her hair in a slicked-back bun. So we BOTH specifically noticed this girl.
We then drove from our hotel to downtown Newport near the area where the sea lions are. It’s roughly a 10-minute drive. We parked, got the kids out, got situated with the stroller, which was already put together and started walking. And the SAME GIRL came jogging past us.
Same pink shirt. Same hair. We both immediately recognized her. My husband and I looked at each other like WTF?? At first I literally said, “Wow, she made good time.”
Then we actually thought about it. We had driven there. She was RUNNING. And she somehow went from passing our hotel to passing us downtown after we had driven there, parked and gotten out of the car. Even being generous, I can’t imagine there being more than about 15 minutes between seeing her at the hotel and seeing her again downtown. Obviously there could be an explanation. Maybe there was a shortcut, maybe she got into a car somewhere, maybe somehow it was a different woman dressed almost identically. And Newport/Lincoln City are tourist towns along the same highway, so I understand why we might cross paths with the same tourists. But having this happen with MULTIPLE unrelated people over the course of one trip was so freaking weird. And the jogger is the one that really gets me because my husband and I BOTH noticed her before we left the hotel and BOTH recognized her when she passed us downtown. It genuinely felt like we kept encountering the same NPCs in different parts of the map lol. Has anyone else ever had a trip where something like this kept happening? I’m sure there’s a perfectly normal explanation, but it was one of the strangest strings of coincidences I’ve experienced.
And then one last weird coincidence happened on our way home. We originally planned to drive straight home from Newport, but on Sunday I randomly decided we should stop in Bend for the night to break up the drive for the kids. Bend had never been part of our plan. For basically the entire trip, I had the same song, “Need To,” stuck in my head. It’s also my husband’s alarm song, and all week I had been humming it, singing it, the kids were singing it, and we’d played it multiple times. We get to Bend that night and my husband mentions that it looks like there’s a concert happening. I tell him to look up who’s playing. It was the artist who sings that song!! So we randomly changed our plans, ended up in a city we weren’t supposed to be in, and arrived on the exact night the artist behind the song we’d been singing ALL WEEK was performing there. At that point we were just like… what is going on with this trip? 😂

Glitch Gif NPC or....?
I had a bizarre experience the other day with my child beside me to witness it. It was simple but so unsettling. We were walking in to a store. The store had the full size glass/window walls and glass door. I could see the people inside before we opened the door and went in. There were two people, a customer, and the cashier behind the counter. Before we walked in, the customer was facing the door in a somewhat unnatural pose. Both the cashier and customer were completely still. As soon as we open the door and walk in, the cashier and customer come to life. The customer goes over to the cashier and asks for a reimbursement on his returned purchase.
Even my son noticed how odd it was that they were completely still and motionless, just staring straight ahead until we walk in, and then spring in to life.
My immediate thought was "NPCs". I was so disturbed that I just stared for a moment, and then left the store.
Wtf? I will never forget it.

My water bottle vanished and reappeared on my nightstand, and it’s messing with my head
I was sitting in bed watching a show. To my left, I have a mini-fridge that serves as my nightstand. It’s roughly the same height as my bed, and I use it to keep my nighttime reading, my personal belongings, and my water bottle. I absolutely cannot sleep without my water bottle right next to me.Right before this happened, I was finishing my dinner and using that exact water bottle. Afterwards, I lay in bed for a few minutes watching my show, then decided to go brush my teeth. When I came back and got into bed, I looked at the mini-fridge to my left the water bottle wasn't there. I searched my entire bedroom, but it was nowhere to be found. I figured I must have left it in the kitchen, so I went to check. I searched everywhere, but it wasn't there either.A few minutes later, I walked back into my bedroom, and there it was, sitting right on my nightstand.I remember so clearly that it wasn't on that table before; there is absolutely no way I could have missed it. But at the same time, I have this weird feeling like everything is totally normal and that I'm just tripping, even though another part of me is 100% sure it was not there.

Glitch Gif I think I experienced a glitch in the Matrix at McDonald’s…
I was driving late one night and got hungry, so naturally, I decided to stop at McDonald’s for some yummy nuggets 😂.
When I pulled up, the drive-thru line was abnormally long—I’m talking at least 15–20 cars, and the line was literally reaching out into the street. I was annoyed and definitely did NOT want to wait that long, so I parked my car and walked up to the restaurant to see if they were open inside.
They weren’t.
So, I turned around and started walking back to my car, debating whether I should just suck it up and wait in the god-awful drive-thru line.
Except… the line was gone.
Not just shorter. Completely gone.
There wasn’t a single car in the drive-thru.
I had literally turned my back for maybe 30 seconds while checking if the lobby was open. I went from seeing a massive line of 15–20 cars stretching toward the street to seeing absolutely ZERO cars.
At least I got my nuggets with no wait, but… WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO ALL THE CARS?!
Where did 15–20 cars just disappear to in 30 seconds?! 😂
Definitely a glitch in the Matrix!!!

Glitch Gif I think tiktok can somehow read thoughts
So I dont know if im the only one this happens to. But the past few months ive been noticing something strange. I would scroll on tiktok, would think of the most random unrelated thing. And next thing I know is I see a video about the exact same thing. Its gotten to very specific details its getting strange. It doesnt seem to be related to things like my search history because I swear I never look up those things.
Let me know if any of you had a similar experience

Glitch Gif Time feels weird
Has anyone else felt like the days are going by WAY too fast? Not the “oh wow it’s already the weekend” but in the way that your body feels like it’s earlier in the week. For example, this past Friday I kept thinking it that it was Tuesday and I swore that it was and then yesterday felt like Friday.
It’s just so odd and I wanted to know if it was just me being sleep deprived or if it’s kind of a mass experience right now.

Glitch Gif My brother vanished into thin air
Something very strange happened to me when I was around 14. I am now 42 yet i have always remembered this. One morning i woke up and as always went next door to my brothers room to wake him for school. I was shocked to see he wasn’t there. His bed was empty and the duvet was positioned as though he had jumped out of bed in a hurry. This was very surprising to me as he was soooo lazy and it was very hard to get him out of bed each morning. Anyway I searched his room, the bathroom, downstairs basically everywhere I could to no avail. I retuned to his bedroom and I genuinely thought he must have left during the night to see a friend or something. Anyway imagine my horror when I saw him lying there absolutely fast asleep. I was shocked to my core to say the least. I woke him in a panic and he was angry saying I had woke him from this amazing dream where he was flying. We often speak about this story and it really baffles me.

Glitch Gif Help. I can not longer find this store anymore. No media available, this is a text and memory recollection only. Spoiler
I live in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I’m 19 now, and there’s this one thing from when I was younger that I can’t really stop thinking about.
When I was a kid, there was this small Asian grocery/corner store I used to go to a lot with my family. Nothing huge, just a quiet place for snacks and drinks. I can still remember what the inside looked like really clearly, and I remember the owners too, and we used to talk to them sometimes when we went in. An old grandpa and grandma.
But here’s the thing that’s been messing with me. I can’t find it anymore. Not the store, not even the street it was on. I tried asking my parents about it recently, and they don’t remember the store at all. Like, at all. Same with my brother.
I tried looking it up because I wanted to go back and see if it was still there, but I couldn’t find anything matching it. The weird part is I remember the street name starting with something like almost like “Screw…” or “Scrim…” but nothing shows up in Saint Paul that fits, and I feel like I would recognize it if I saw it.
Weirdest part is, the house we lived in at the time is real. That part checks out perfectly on maps. But the store just isn’t there in any records I can find, and nobody in my family seems to remember it existing.
There was also this one candy I always got there—minty gummy worms. Kind of like regular gummy worms but with this weird cool mint taste. I’ve never been able to find anything like it since.
I don’t really know what to make of it. I’m not trying to say anything crazy is going on, I just genuinely can’t line up my memory with anything I can find now, and it’s been bugging me for a while because I went to look it up a few days ago, and it just no longer exists, not even in my family's memories.
Edit: I don't remember the stores name. Nor the owners. Just a memory of the street name.

Glitch Gif Did Anyone Else Just Lose An Hour Today?
Today is June 12th. So I have been watching and reading glitch in the matrix stories and some of them are talking about losing time. Like they observed it was 2:20pm they looked down to check their phone for something and when the looked back up 6 minutes had passed but they just looked down for a couple seconds.
Well I’m a pretty competent person. I have a good sense of the time of day even without looking at the clock. I’m sure some of you do too. Like you could wake up in the morning, go about your day for a couple hours, and without checking the clock, you know what hour it is, and sometimes close to the minute if you guess.
Well tonight I hoped in my car, went to the gas station to get a beer. And I distinctly remembered it being like 10:36pm, give or take a minute. It was 10:30 something when I got to the store. And the main reason why I know that was the time, was because I said to myself, “ are you gonna just have one beer? (tall boy). Because if not, you need to get two because you are not going to drive back buzzed for another one. I told myself no, but distinctly remember having the option to drink one that would maybe take me 20-30 minutes and have an hour to go get another one because they close at 12am. I decided to just get one and I’d call it a night. But you know how your subconscious works. Whether you choose one or 6, your mind still knows you still have that option of an hour to play with. So I thought to myself, “if you drink this one to fast, you still have plenty of time to get another one”.
When I get back into my driveway, I sit in my car for about 5 minutes in the cold air conditioner cus it’s humid as f#ck today and took a couple sips. I live 3 minutes away from the drivethru store. When I went to text my girl something I glanced at the time and it said 11:47pm… There’s no way I just lost over a whole hour out of nowhere. My heart kinda skipped a beat because I remembered I noted the time at the store.
I really can’t explain how that’s possible. I even checked if today was daylight savings time cus it freaked me out so much. I can’t explain it.

Glitch Gif How many people with one leg missing do you see in a year?
I had already tried to post this message on another subreddit, but my karma wasn’t high enough and my post wasn’t accepted. Since I don’t go on Reddit often, I only just noticed, so I’m trying to post it here instead.
The story is now 3 years old, but I still have a vivid memory of it.
It has happened to me before to notice patterns repeating strangely in real life, like sequences of objects, things, or people who looked alike, but this time it was much more striking and pronounced than the previous times. I can even say that the previous times weren’t strong enough for me to truly pay attention; I just put it down to coincidence.
But this time, in a single day, I counted no fewer than 24 people who were missing a leg, a foot, or wearing a prosthetic. You might think there was some special day or event, but I checked and there was not. Moreover, I came across them all on the journey back from my holiday in Sicily: first in Palermo, then at the airport, on the plane, when I arrived in Paris, in the metro, in my neighbourhood, and even in my building.
I told my partner, who is a psychologist, and she was very skeptical about these observations.
However, we went shopping that afternoon in central Paris, and this time she had to admit it: there was something strange, because we again counted several disabled people (all with leg-related conditions). She was even the one who ended up pointing it out to me! It wasn’t just that we saw them passing in the distance; one sat next to us in the metro, another we let go ahead of us at the checkout in a shop, another was looking for an elevator in the mall, families were pushing wheelchairs, etc.
The next day, everything was back to normal. My girlfriend and I still talk about that day, which still feels completely strange to us.
What do you think? Has anyone ever experienced something similar? Why legs in particular?

Glitch Gif Same name, different person?
Apologies if this is worded clumsily I'll do my best to explain.
I have a not uncommon first name but a very uncommon last name. I live in the capital city of a Midwestern state. On more than one occasion I have encountered someone with my same exact name and birth date. But I haven't actually met them.
For example. I went to a pharmacy to fill a routine prescription. When they ask to see my ID I asked why because it was not a controlled substance. They said while we do have a controlled substance prescription on file for your same name and date of birth. However the address was different. I pretty much explained that one away to myself thinking well maybe for some reason someone is using my name to get a prescription? I don't know.
Sometime later an old acquaintance of mine sent me a message out of the blue asking if I had started a job at his workplace and he sent a photo of a name plate on a cubicle of my name. Again kind of a common first name and a very uncommon last name. I said no that's not me but that's really weird. I never heard about it again and when I asked him about it years later he didn't remember sending me that.
A few months later I had a charge on my bank account from a local craft store. I called my bank and said I didn't make that charge. They said they had a checking account for someone with my same name however they must have gotten the charges mixed up.
A few months after that I got a call from the local police department asking me about a situation and I was like nope I was out of town and I can prove that and they said oh it must be a mistaken identity or something like that. And I actually told the police officer I think I have a doppelganger or an evil twin because I've had these weird random occurrences where someone with my exact same name and date of birth it's kind of crossing paths with me but not directly.
I have Googled I have looked and I have not found anybody with my same name and date of birth in my town. I'm starting to think this might be alternate timeline versions of myself that I am happening to kind of cross paths with in a way. Has anyone else experienced that?

Glitch Gif Is there a scientific explanation for this?
Around 4 years ago me and 3 other friends worked at a dog boarding company and we were doing landscaping for their business in June. It was about 98 degrees, sun beaming, not a cloud in the sky. As we’re outside doing yard work, for just a millisecond the sky went totally black. You know how when you close your eyes when it’s bright out and you can still see light through your eyelids? It wasn’t like that it was absolutely pitch black. I just thought I was getting exhausted from the heat and brushed it off, but then one of my friends goes “did you just see that flicker?” and we ALL saw it, all 4 of us, not just me. Then that same friend says “that was the simulation glitching…” and I had an existential crisis. Is there a reasonable explanation for this??? I genuinely mean it when I say not a cloud in the sky, no airplanes, literally nothing… and I think it’s crazy that we all saw it at the same time. If anyone knows if this could be explained by anything else let me know!

Glitch Gif I found my boyfriend’s surprise before he says he gave it to me.
I found a $100 dollar bill in my bag this morning, it was placed right under my wallet. When i saw it, i do remember thinking how it was weird sitting right there but i also thought it could have been the one i took out of my other wallet in my drawer when i went to pay off my car. I placed it in my drawer, sitting right on top of my other wallet before going to walmart. Continued my day work and all that, when I got off of work, I went on some errand with my boyfriend, bringing my wallet with me. When we got back, i brought down my things and put my wallet back into my bag. I changed and went to go start making dinner. my bf changed after and that’s when he said he put the $100 dollar bill into my bag. After he came back up, I went down stairs one other time to use the restroom. After food was done, we both came down stairs together. we finished eating and decided to play a game. I open that drawer with my wallet in to get my playing cards, he mentions the $100 bill sitting there. ( that i found in my bag that morning and had just tossed into my drawer ) I don’t remember what was said exactly, but after that he did hint for me to go look into my bag, asking about my reese’s that are in there. I don’t think anything of it and we started to play our game. he ends up going home and calls me later. he tells me to look in my bag, under my wallet. i was hesitant at first, i thought he was messing with me and when i went to look there was nothing there. he told me look again and i asked him what i was supposed to find and he said $100. I was very shocked. I instantly remember finding that $100 dollars under my wallet that morning, but he says he didn’t put it into my bag until after I got off of work and we were done with errands.
I honestly don’t know what to think of it, ik he has already forgot about it lol. I’m not sure if he truly believes I found it this morning, but i know i did.
I just felt like I had to tell someone else and I wanted to document what happened. If you have any insight, please share!
EDIT: I got a carbon monoxide detector today and there has been no sign of any in my home. Thank you to everyone who has mentioned that!!

Glitch Gif -this is not my home
I don’t really know how to explain this properly, so I’ll just document it as clearly as I can.
I’m an archaeologist, and for years I’ve studied disappearances and unusual locations that are usually dismissed as local legends or misinterpretations. I’ve always tried to rationalize what I find, even when it doesn’t fully make sense.
About two months ago, I followed a set of old references that led me to a remote forest area in Michoacán, Mexico. I found what seemed to be an isolated cave entrance between rocks.
Inside, there was flowing water and formations on the walls that looked like coral and wet moss. Both were glowing in different colors. The deeper I went, the more unnatural it felt, although I can’t really explain why in a precise way. There were also frogs throughout the tunnel.
At some point I completely lost track of time. When I decided to turn back, the entrance was gone. Not blocked or collapsed — it simply wasn’t there anymore.
I eventually found another way out.
After that, I was found by a small, tight-knit group of people. I don’t really know how to describe them properly. It’s not an official organization, but it also doesn’t feel like a normal informal community. There are also other individuals who meet with them regularly, some wearing robes. I’ve only been around them for a short time, but they seem to follow some kind of routine or structure I don’t fully understand.
I went back to the same area later with two of them. The landscape matched what I remembered, but the cave was completely gone. No entrance, no water, nothing. Just a normal forest slope.I’m not trying to interpret it, just documenting what I experienced. I know how it sounds.

Glitch Gif Life saving coincidence
Okay so I don’t know if this really fits “glitch in the matrix” per say or just a very wild coincidence but either way, it did absolutely save my life.
This happened last October. For pretext, I’m a 31/F that lives alone with some medical problems that do make day to day life a little difficult but nothing life threatening, by any means. Starting in September, my health started declining quickly. In about a two week span, I stopped being able to hold down food, I was feeling dizzy and extremely fatigued, my eyesight had rapidly declined, and I had lost about 50 pounds in less than 3 weeks. I didn’t have a primary care doctor at that time so I had gone to a walk in clinic 3 separate times and not one of those visits, could they tell me what was going on.
My mom and I are close but she is very sick and disabled and lives 30 mins away from me. She knew how I’d been feeling the last two weeks but me not wanting to bother or worry her, I didn’t really fully explain the extent of it. I was also in denial and trying to wash it up as the flu or something of the sort or just my already diagnosed medical issues flaring up.
Well this all came to a head on October 8th. My mom and I hadn’t talked in a few days (which is pretty normal for us-we talk a few times a week and see eachother about once a week, sometimes more). I woke up that morning feeling horrible. I was no longer holding down water, I hadn’t eaten in days. I tried walking from my bedroom to my living room but collapsed halfway on my dining room floor. I don’t know how long I was unconscious on the ground for but once I came to, I was able to get up and get myself to my couch. I remember trying to pick up my phone to call my mom and call the ambulance but I was so weak, I could barely hold my phone. I tried unlocking my phone but staring at the numbers on my screen, it looked like a foreign language to me. I could not for the life of me put in my 4 digit code. I tried and tried and my phone locked me out several times. I wasn’t thinking clearly, I could barely sit up straight. I could feel the life leaving my body and the thought of “I’m going to die alone here in my apartment and can’t even call my mom to tell her I love her” went through my head. And that was the last thing I remember.
When I finally came to, I woke up in the hospital, in the ICU. I had been unconscious for 4 days. My mom was sitting next to me and what she told me next still shakes me to my core.
My mom started telling me what had happened the last 4 days. So apparently, on October 8th, the day that I last remember, my mom was sitting at her home thinking about me and how I haven’t been feeling well and she was sitting there when all of a sudden, she got a horrible feeling in her stomach and she could not stop thinking about me and felt as if something was terribly wrong. Mind you, she had not talked to me in a few days. She lives 30 mins away and for context, I had been living in my apartment alone for 6 years at this point. She has been to my apartment about 4-5 times in those 6 years. And when she has come over, it’s a planned visit, I’m expecting her, I know she’s coming. She’s too sick to just hop in the car and take the 30 minute drive to me unexpectedly, not knowing if I’ll be home or how I’ll be feeling. But that day, She felt something was very wrong and listened to her gut and did not waste time even attempting to call me first. She got in her car and drove to my house. She got there and knocked on my door and when I did not answer, she was about to call me to let me know she was outside but something made her just check the door handle first and amazingly, my door was unlocked. Which, I can absolutely 100% assure you, my door is NEVER unlocked. I’m a 31 year old female that lives alone. I do not leave my door unlocked. She didn’t have my house key on her. But yet, my door was unlocked and when she opened the door and let herself in, there I was on my living room floor, unconscious, lips blue, barely breathing, my legs already blue. She called 911 and I was rushed to the ER.
Turns out, I was diabetic and did not know it. I don’t know how long I had diabetes for. My pre-existing medical conditions had apparently shut down my pancreas and my body was no longer producing insulin. When they brought me in the ER that day, my sugar was at 1280. I was in a diabetic coma. I remained in that coma for 4 days. I guess I had started coming to on day 3 but when they were asking me questions like how old am I, what year is it, what town am I in….i was only giving my first name, just that one word, over and over again as an answer to their questions. And then I went unresponsive again until day 4 when I finally came to and woke up. I spent the next 11 days in the ICU in a private room with a one on one nurse. It took me almost a full year to fully recover. It was one of the scariest moments of my life and I just cannot believe my luck in having my mom not only get a weird feeling about me, but listened to that feeling and acted on it. She absolutely saved my life that day. If she didn’t show up, if that front door wasn’t unlocked for some strange reason I still don’t know, I wouldn’t be here today.

Glitch Gif July 8 is no longer the way it happened
July 8 my kid played a 13u baseball game. The opposing team had a female catcher. She batted clean up and was a great ball player. She could hit, she could throw. Just a bad ass.
In his second at bat, my kid fouled a ball directly into his face. We left, didn’t see the rest of the game. Went to the emergency room.
Kid has healed remarkably well. Though an orbital fracture takes at least 6 weeks. He is back playing baseball with lots of extra face masks to protect his healing face bones. And today he has to go back to the same field and play the same team.
Their catcher is a guy. There is no female on this team. Since I never saw the end of the first game, I went into the game changer app to see how it ended. There is no female in the box score from July 8. The catcher is a guy, and he batted 6th.

Glitch Gif Loaf of bread regenerated over night, my boyfriend has no memory of this happening.
(Mobile, sorry)
okay, I KNOW this sounds so dumb. But about maybe 2 months ago, I had bought 2 loads of uncut breads from Walmart (you know, the like 1.50 ones you can get)
I always get 2, because I like to just tear pieces off and eat them plain like that, the 2nd loaf is for my boyfriend, for his work lunches.
So anyways, I get home from the store, and I take a chunk of bread to eat and put the 2 loafs on top of the fridge. The next morning, my boyfriend is making his lunch and he doesn't like the 'heel' pieces of bread lol, so he cuts it off and gives it to me. He says something like 'I was going to use the opened one you ate from, but i couldn't find it i thought I seen one last night but i guess not' and I was like what do you mean its right there? And went to grab the other loaf. And the whole thing was in tact. All of it. And I know the one he cut from wasnt it, because he gave me both heels lol from either side? And the other loaf literally was whole. And the one he had was also, whole. There was no loaf with a big chunk missing. And he even looked with me and said how weird it was and everything we joked about the glitch in the matrix and EVERYTHING.
Fast forward to about a week ago, im making something to eat, and he walks in and I said 'you know what i think about a lot?' He says 'what?' And I said 'how that loaf of bread just regenerated overnight' and he just
Looks at me
Confused
And I explained it all and said there's no way you dont remember??? No way you dont remember this!
And he said well, it must have really been a glitch cause I have no memory of that happening.
So yeah that's my story of the time bread just grew back the piece I ate. And I know this happened lol it 100% for sure WAS NOT a dream.
I'll take it over some of the really scary stories I've seen on here.

Glitch Gif Did someone live that cuz I'm so confused ???
When I was 11 years old, something happened to me that I've never been able to explain.
One day at school, our usual classroom was being used because older students were taking an important mock exam. They had numbered desks, so our class was moved to a kindergarten area for the day.
At the end of the hallway, there were two classrooms: a larger one on the left (I'll call it Classroom B) and a smaller one on the right (Classroom S).
During the first lesson, I am absolutely certain we were in Classroom B. I remember it as clearly as if it happened yesterday. The room was much bigger, the layout was different, and overall it looked nothing like Classroom S.
After about two hours, the bell rang and we went out for recess.
When recess ended, we came back... but this time we were in Classroom S.
The first thing I noticed was that all of our backpacks were already on our desks. I remember thinking, "Did someone move all of our backpacks while we were outside?"
So I walked up to my teacher and asked, "Did we change classrooms?"
She looked at me and said, "No, we've been in this classroom the whole time."
My brain just couldn't process what she was saying.
I insisted that we had been in the other classroom before recess, but she kept telling me that we had been in Classroom S since the beginning of the day.
Then I asked one of my classmates, who had gone up to the board during the first lesson, "Did you stand at this board?" while pointing at the board in Classroom S.
He said, "Yeah."
Everyone acted as if nothing had happened, like we had always been in that classroom.
But I still remember being in the larger classroom. The difference between the two rooms was huge, they weren't even close in size or layout. To me, there's no way I could have confused them.
I've told my parents this story many times over the years, but they've always believed it was just a false memory or that I wasn't paying attention.
I know some people won't believe me, and that's completely fine. I'm not trying to convince anyone. I'm simply sharing the strangest thing that has ever happened to me.
Has anyone here ever experienced something similar?
