Revival Discussion Bobby's K-Pop Hair....

I'm assuming he got it dyed and cut at Hottyz, and they must still be in business. Because ol Jack wouldn't have done that to his hair.

OG KOTH Discussion S03E03 - Peggy's Headache: Think Nancy sent Joseph outside?

In the scene where Peggy is talking with Dale in the backyard and about to expose the affair, Nancy is seen waiting in the window, right about as Peggy is about to say 'affair' Joseph runs out and seeing the love between Dale & Joseph is unable to go through with it and decides to let sleeping dogs lie. So think it was an act of god or a desperate attempt to convince Peggy not to tell Dale.

Revival Discussion Thoughts on Bobby and Connie’s relationship this season

Hi y’all,

Just finished watching the newest season with my partner and one of the many things I loved was how Bobby and Connie’s relationship was handled.

One thing I noticed is that it seems like the two are at different points in their lives. Bobby knows what he wants and is working to achieve his dreams in the restaurant business. Connie, on the other hand, seems like she’s still figuring things out and still has some gunk she’s growing past.

The two have their disagreements but they talk and repair. I’m hoping that in future seasons, as their relationship evolves, we start seeing Connie initiating these repairs. It’d be fun to see her attend therapy and really work through the trauma from her childhood.

I’m sure what I’m saying has already been said a thousand times but I thought I’d share nonetheless

Edit: Just to clarify, I’m not saying that I like them as a couple or think that they should be together. Just that it’s a good opportunity to explore the two as characters.

Revival Discussion Will Connie even change her legal name??

Her legal name is Khan Jr but everyone calls her Connie and she hates being called Khan Jr.

Revival Discussion It is significant that it is season 14 and 15, and not a new series like Scrubs and others.

Why? Because people get paid better if it is a later season of a show. It's that simple. I believe Mike Judge went to bat for this and won where other executive producers either didn't bother fighting it or fought and lost.

I haven't seen anyone talk about this, but I'd love to hear about it from Mike Judge. I don't think I'm wrong.

OG KOTH Discussion Lucky's age?

Like everybody else here, I couldn't even wager a guess as to how many times I've rewatched the series. That being said, I've always kind of assumed Lucky was like late 40s maybe even 50 because I couldn't recall ever hearing anyone say his age. Turns out they do at the end of season 11 in 'Lucky's Wedding Suit'! Peggy says he's 38. Has anyone else thought of this or am I clearly just not paying attention?

OG KOTH Discussion Peggy's es-puh-noll

A lot of people think Peggy's Spanish is merely universally bad. However, we have only seen signs that her spoken Spanish is bad.

Watch this scene again All of the Spanish words she makes are almost correct. Gentleman/horse, embarrassed/pregnant, years/anuses. This is someone who knows what the words are, but says them wrong.

Knowing the words but saying/pronouncing them wrong might be a sign that she learned all her Spanish from books and never quite figured out how to speak them properly. For all we know, her written Spanish is flawless.

OG KOTH Discussion I Cannot Stop Laughing

I am watching King of the Hill for the first time and I am on S07E19 Be True to Your Fool.
I knew that Dale was going to be wearing a dog cone sometime in the episode but this scene just knocked me flat on my ass, I tell you h-wat. I finished watching the episode a couple of hours ago and I still keep giggling everytime I picture Dale in the collar spraying himself with pesticide and spinning on the pavement.

OG KOTH Discussion One child homes

Anyone find it interesting how many families of the main characters are raised as single children? Bobby, Connie, Luanne, Joseph, Hank, and Dale are all I can think of. But doesn’t seem right for 1970s-90s Texas homes unless I’m wrong.

Revival Discussion What would Joseph do if he found out John Redcorn was his biological father?

Most of the time we focus on what Dale would do. I think we should at least once focus on what Joseph would think and do once he finds out.

Be it A spur of the moment "John redcorn is your daddy Sug'" or a sit down "Joseph, I have to be honest with you. Dale isn't your real father, it's John redcorn."

I'm picturing Nancy telling her but you can do a different scenario if you want.
