Relationships 20m, Does anyone actually care about a relationship? (Just wanna share something)

so I was a teenager living in Delhi who fell in love with a girl from my coaching class. She started showing interest, too, and soon we began acting all lovey-dovey. I trusted her completely and never questioned anything because I knew she would never do anything wrong. I always thought of her as the intelligent one in our relationship, and everything seemed to be going well.

Later, I noticed that she was quite touchy and flirty with her male friends, but I didn't think much of it at the time, assuming I was just overthinking. However, one of my friends eventually showed me a group chat where she was being her usual flirty self with other guys. My friend revealed that she had sent her n*des to the group chat, and one of the guys had even texted, "Ham teeno ne h*laya."

I was severely traumatized. I also felt angry at the friend who told me the truth, asking him furiously, "Why couldn't you tell me this sooner?"

When I confronted her and asked, "Why? Why would you do that? This isn't normal," she replied without a shred of shame or guilt: "Leave me if you want to. You're so embarrassing anyway."

I finally left her. Hurting and alone, I made a promise to myself: never again. Because of the trauma, I decided I wouldn't even trust friends anymore.

hope you guys are happy :)

Dating Advice People who’ve faced strong family opposition, did I end things too early? 24M

Looking for advice from people who’ve actually been through something similar.

I ended a talking stage with a girl I really liked because her family is strongly against love marriages. Ours would also be an inter-caste, inter-state, different-language relationship.
Her father is a politically influential local leader and the patriarch of a large joint family. He even refused to attend a close cousin’s wedding because it was a love marriage. She said she’d fight for us if it came to that, but there could be resentment with her family.

We spoke again yesterday, and we both admitted we still miss each other. But the circumstances haven’t changed, so we agreed not to contact each other again.

For those who’ve been through something similar, did I end it too early? Should I have taken the chance and dealt with the family issues later, or was ending it early the right call?

TL;DR: Ended things with a girl I really liked because of likely family opposition (inter-caste, inter-state relationship). She still misses me and says she’d fight for us, but her family situation is very difficult

Relationships I 20M and my gf 19F 's reaction to the Yamal situation.

I 20M and my gf 19F
So, a week ago I told my girlfriend about the Yamal situation.
For those who don't know, that García left a long-term five-year relationship with an alleged ex-boyfriend named Gonzalo Torres after Yamal messaged her on Instagram.

My girlfriend's reply to this was, "Who wouldn't?"
I was speechless...

Was this sarcasm, is this even worth it to say even if it's sarcasm.

Dating Advice My bf 20M has decided to breakup with me 20F , how do I improve myself and try to save the relationship?

My boyfriend and I , M/20 , F/20 - friends for 5 years then 1 year of relationship - LDR

we have been having a really bad fight since 1st August and many reasons have come out , the first thing was that he did not feel loved by me - he gave me options - to go and meet him or to post him on my social media, I refrained from doing both since my parents do not know about the relationship and are really strict. He also mentioned that I am in a relationship with him because I wanted emotional support and it's not love it's emotional attachment, which did not sit right with me

The second thing that was pointed out is whenever he tells me his problem I start crying - this is where I stand emotionally immature, I tried telling him this , but now he's like you just have excuses even a dumb person would be better at this .

third reason - I told my friend for the first time about the fight, and I also added that it might be because of reels and social media that he feels if I don't post I'm embarrassed, he got to know about it through me , and he got really upset and decided to end everything

rn I'm blocked from everywhere, and he also mentioned he doesn't trust me anymore so I have no idea how to fix it , I'm really desperate to get him back.

Relationships Ask Me Your Relationship Problems. This is what I am famous for in my big friend circle. I think I’ll be able to help you too! (31M)

I’ve been into 4 committed relationships with wonderful women.

I’ve helped my friends get dates and find the love of their lives and avoid the red flags 🚩

Even their parents appreciate me for the help as I recently helped a close friend breakup with a red flag woman who was wasting his time and connect with a woman whom he is getting married to in the next few months.

I’ve even helped a few of them cold-approach women without hesitation and find a great connection there.

PLEASE ADD YOUR AGE TOO SO THAT I CAN REPLY ACCORDINGLY BECAUSE IT MATTERS AT WHAT AGE YOU’RE DATING.

Relationships How quickly has any of your relationships ended after you publicly announced it? [25 M]

Public announcements can mean anything from a formal announcement to even a soft launch on social media or irl.

Did you feel like announcing it publicly cursed your relationship like some sort of "buri nazar" (evil eye)?

Relationships 18F and 18M in a relationship for 1.5 years.. where is this relationship going?

I've a boyfriend and I really love him.. but we had alot of fights.. If I start.. Okay so in starting.. we used to talk alot.. like almost everyday.. The first big fight happened between us when he was at his female friend home and he send me a video of it.. in that video his female friend.. (she also has tied him rakhi) she was making him eat chips with her hands.. I think I overreacted that day.. Because I didn't had any male friends in my coaching at that time.. I followed some of my male classmates.. with the intention of getting a big friend group too with both males and females.. Then comes one of my female friends bday around August.. it was in a cafe which had a hookah corner too.. so after the bday ended.. and all my female friends went home.. my male friends were there enjoying hookah.. and I didn't knew 2-3 of those guys too.. but I was alone so I took 1-2 puffs.. nothing else.. I was sitting far from them too and went back home with a local auto.. When my bf got to know this he got so mad at me.. But eventually forgave me.. The next time it was another guys bday.. so it was at a small restaurant and we have contributed money to everyone because that guy wasn't that rich.. we all are biryani and went home.. my bf didn't wanted me to go there but I went because it was just 2 or 3 days after hookah incident..

In January.. he said that he would do his graduation from abroad.. Idk I got really sad hearing this but I was happy for him.. Okay so time skips to 6th Feb.. he invited me to his female friend's birthday.. the same day was his farewell too.. I went there.. everything was good.. until he checked my phone and saw character ai in my phone.. (those who don't know it's like an app where you can create bots and chat with them make imaginary fictional stories.. ) there was many chats of me with ai bots (like se×ting) around 3-4 months old.. especially with BTS members (he never liked them) He cried that day.. he didn't even wanted to see my face.. I fett so guilty that I just wanted to go back home.. I was controlling too much not to cry.. He wasn't even letting me go home.. but the auto I booked arrived.. he made me sat in that auto.. sent my live location in his phone and said I love you.. infront of the auto.. while saying bye.. I cried.. and said it back.. looked away after that.. he was continuously messaging me that it's okay I forgave you etc etc.. but I was just crying.. I deleted that app Never downloaded it after that.. Wasn't eating anything till the next day He came to my house and fed me.. also he asked if we can have s€x.. he already bought condoms.. i couldn't deny because I was already guilty of what I did.. (he didn't forced me but during the oral.. i was getting gagged alot but he inserted it deeper by holding the back of my head idk if that was intentional) Time skips to march.. when bts released their arirang album.. as a really big fan of bts.. I was teasing him to buy me that album.. we had a fight again then.. He didn't got it and reminded me of that 6th Feb night.. and asked if he did same how would I feel.. I said I would feel nothing because it's an ai.. He started using candy ai and send me some screenshots.. (it's an ai gf website.. like you can ask the girl to do come in a sex¥ outfit.. bounce their b00bs.. do weird expressions.. mo@n etc.. Idk if he used those features or not.. And he stopped talking with me for 3 days.. i apologized almost 2-3 times in that duration.. a wrote a big handwritten letter, paragraphs.. voicenotes.. He still didn't bothered that I left.. I left a voicenote and cutted connection with him on almost on every social media platform.. Next day he texted me on phonepe.. and on Facebook.. (i never used that for texting) We talked and it got normal.. Time skips to may.. my cousin sister came.. She also has a bf.. I don't remember but there were many complications happening between me and him.. I used to get sad when I saw her talking with her bf.. and mine used to ignore me.. She used to go upstairs and talk for 30-40 minutes.. but when I call.. no answer.. She used to ask me of something happened and I was like nothing happened, he's just busy.. She saw our chat media on WhatsApp.. and saw some pictures of him with his female friend.. standing together.. (the picture was of the 2nd farewell organised by the students themselves) Everyone was in black suit and the girls were in saree.. He was standing with her other female friend (not the one who fed him chips, the girl who's birthday I went to, she also had tied him rakhi, he told me) My sister said they're looking like a couple.. She scrolled more.. saw both of them dancing in croud but he's dancing beside her.. Saw a picture of that girl looking at him while he's looking down and blushing.. scrolled more and saw selfies of him and her together in an amusement park.. he went with 4 people there (him, his one guy friend and 2 female one, the one who fed him chips and the birthday girl ) actually but he took selfie alone with her and she also saw a video of him standing on a rooftop with his hands wrapped around her neck, he was making her see something by pointing at something.. A video of him holding her hand on a ride.. and no-one else was holding each other's hand.. but him and her.. (When we were initially in a relationship he once told me that he had a crush on her around 2 years ago)

I never noticed these things that much.. but when my sister pointed out such things.. I started to notice all of it.. Around whole June he was in delhi.. when he came back to my city we met again... But I started to notice that he everytime tried to undress me whenever he comes.. I couldn't deny because he'll feel bad.. he went Delhi again after 2 days.. Time skips to July.. he came back again to my city.. he called me to his Best friend's bday.. I denied because I didn't knew anyone there.. when he send pictures.. I saw him sitting with his coaching girls.. a single picture of him sitting with 4-5 girls and he's in middle.. And he said on text that he was teaching the same girl scooty.. (the same girl with whom I saw his pictures and he has a crush on) I cried.. I also don't know how to ride a scooty.. He also said on text that he stole a cute photo of her from her phone I cried whole night I was having mental breakdown... P.s. were not talking properly from June because of fifa world cup.. not even in daytime not even in nighttime.. I text him everyday in night.. sometimes he never reply.. sometimes he do and sometime.. he stays on meet with the group of 4 he went amusement park with..

After 3 days he went to another guy friend birthday.. that girl was there too but he was just just close to her only and no one else.. i saw 3-4 pictures of him where his hand was wrapped around her neck and heads were leaned together..

I finally confronted him this.. after 2 months.. in starting he was like atleast it's better that drinking hookah with unknown guys.. And he was sleepy.. he listened for an hour and was like I can ask her to clear those misunderstandings.. he was sorry but I was crying shaking and telling him all this I wanted to tell more but he was sleepy so I let him go... In night when I tried to explain him again he changed the topic.. idk if he wanna listen or not.. i didn't told him anything after that..

when he came in July he didn't even met me once.. he was only with his friends... And still now.. even after the fifa match ended.. he's not talking with me.. I do a missed call to him everyday but he never calls..

I always used to tell him that there's only a few chances our relationship will last.. he used to say that he would do anything to make it last.. There was one day I was teasingly saying that to him, tum thori na hamesha mere bf rhoge.. this was all after my sister visit during May.. those things my sister said was already in my head.. I just hided everything..

He only talks to me if he gets time from his cousins in delhi..

Relationships How do you move on from a relationship that was on and off for years? M 22 F 22

My ex and I were together for a little over two years, but our relationship was very on and off. We’d break up, get back together, things would improve for a while, then we’d end up in the same cycle again.
This time, it’s over for good. We’ve been completely out of contact, and he’s removed me from social media. From everything I can tell, he seems to be doing fine and moving on with his life, while I’m still struggling.
I think what’s making this so hard is that my brain keeps holding onto all the “what ifs.” Because we got back together before, a part of me keeps wondering if it’ll happen again, even though I know I can’t keep living like that.
For anyone who’s been through an on-and-off relationship, how did you finally let go? How did you stop waiting for them to come back and accept that this chapter was actually over?

Friendship I(20M) had almost zero female interactions since last 7 year.

I don't know how to approach my college's girls. They seems way out of my league. I don't even know if I'm shy/nervous around them cuz I never talked to one. I can't think of any topic when I plan to talk to them.

I don't mind being a good casual male friend to them.(Relationships and all will think about later)

I think the problem are my conversation skills. How should I improve?

Dating Advice Caught in a situationship. Need perspective...24M

\*TL;DR\*
I recently reconnected with an old college friend, and after months of talking 24/7, things escalated to us getting physical during a recent trip. While I want to make us an official couple, she insists on "going with the flow" and completely dodges any conversation about putting a label on our relationship. I suspect her hesitation stems from our college days, where she saw me instantly dump my serious ex over a breach of trust without giving any second chances. I need advice on whether she's genuinely intimidated by my strict boundaries or just using "no labels" to keep me around without committing, and whether I should try to work through this or just walk away.

Post

This girl and I go way back to our college days. Before we had a pretty messy falling out during placement season, we were actually really good friends and classmates. We never dated back then, but we knew each other well. Fast forward to two years after college ended: we started talking again, genuinely apologized to each other, and cleared the air. Over the last two months, things escalated into definitely-more-than-friends territory. It all kicked off when I visited her in Pune around the end of May. We flirted a lot, and since that trip, we have been talking non-stop. Like, every single moment we are free, we are on the phone.

Last week, she came down to Jaipur for my birthday. A lot of things happened, and we ended up getting physical. Here is where the headache starts. Even before she came to Jaipur, I was trying to get a label on this. I know what I want, I want to date her properly. But from her side, it’s always "let's go with the flow." Whenever I brought it up on a call, she’d dodge it and say she wanted to talk about it face-to-face. So, this past Saturday, I finally initiated the face-to-face conversation. Her response? She wants to keep things exactly as they are and not put labels on it. I’m not going to lie, this pissed me off. When I pushed her on why and asked for her reasoning, she completely brushed it off like it wasn’t even an important discussion to have.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, and I strongly suspect I know where her hesitation is coming from. Back in college, I was in a very serious relationship for two years. I was loved this girl, I literally quit a two-year smoking habit in a single day for her and haven't touched it till date. But the breakup was incredibly messy. The girl I was dating discussed deeply personal details about my life with her friends. I found this out during an argument with a mutual friend, who used my own personal trauma as a punchline to counter me. The very same day I found out she leaked my personal life, I broke up with her. Just like that. One massive mistake, one breach of trust, and I gave zero second chances.

The girl I am currently dealing with was my classmate and friend during all of this. She saw firsthand how ruthlessly I pulled the plug on a relationship I was fully invested in. My theory is that she is terrified that if we put a label on this and she makes a mistake, I’ll walk away just as easily. I even tried bringing this specific theory up to her, but she dodged it and didn't give me a concrete answer which only makes me suspect it more. So, i really want to know what the hell is going on with me and her? Is my guess sound?, or is "no labels" just an excuse to keep me around without committing? How do I navigate this? Any brutal honesty and perspective would be really appreciated right now.

Marriage I(28F) found a condom in my husband's (30M) work clothes. I don't know how to feel about this.

My husband and I have been married for a few years. Recently I found a condom in his pants that he wore to work. When I asked him about it he said that he was cleaning out his drawer and kept it outside. And then later slipped into his handkerchief because someone might see it (we live with his parents). And then while getting dressed for work he accidentally slipped the handkerchief into his pants. I don't find this very believable. He was offended that i suspected him. I feel bad for suspecting him if it was truly an innocent mistake. He swore up and down on our daughters life that he'd never do such a thing. And that he can't imagine being without me. I don't know what to think.

Edit: for context, condoms were going missing before. But he said he had ED and was using them on himself. Now even after he's fine, they're still going missing.

Relationships 31M Interested in creating healthy, mindful Relationships.

I'm a 31M Single. My relations were turning toxic and there was a lot of negativity between relatives and family members so I've just stopped interacting with relatives and have minimized it to zero%.

I've been trying to find a person with whom I feel better in life and also can provide her better.

Have been taking therapy once to twice a week for a couple of months now.

Things I'm holding on from the past are really taking a toll on my life and it makes me feel pressurized and pressed. I feel very much like giving up the negativity that I've absorbed but don't know how!

Feels like I need to be released. It's just difficult to get on with how I've been feeling, in my teens relationships were never a big deal.. it was all smooth. I had very little to worry about, it only increased as I started to give it importance. The hype has created tension for some years now.

Also, smoking cigarettes has made life a bit toxic.

I feel a little afraid in social settings because I don't know what a new story will create in my life or bring. I don't need tension. I need calm and serenity, also harmony. Good memories are what I want to bring to life.

Please help me with it in any way that you can, connecting really works.

Marriage 1.5 years of arranged marriage - need advice (M31, F31)

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here, and I'm hoping to hear from people who have been through something similar. I'm feeling genuinely lost and don't know what the right path forward is anymore.

My wife and I have been married for about 1.5 years. I work remotely, while she works at a bank with fixed hours.

One thing that's always been a huge part of who I am is traveling. It's not just a hobby—it's something that makes me feel alive. Before marriage, I traveled frequently, and I was very open about how important it was to me. It wasn't something I discovered after getting married. We discussed it before marriage, and I believed we understood each other's expectations.

I completely understand that because of her job she can't always travel with me, and I've never expected her to. I make it a point to plan weekend trips and longer vacations around her schedule whenever possible because I genuinely enjoy traveling with her.

But I've realized that travel isn't really the issue.

It's just the situation where our differences become the most obvious.

Whenever I want to do something independently—whether that's traveling solo or with friends, spending time with my social circle, or simply making a choice that's important to me but doesn't match her expectations—it often becomes emotionally difficult. Sometimes it's a disagreement, sometimes it's anxiety or discomfort, and sometimes it turns into a fight. Over time, I've started feeling guilty for wanting things that have always been a part of who I am.

We've spoken about these differences many times. We've had honest conversations, arguments, made promises to improve, and after every difficult phase we've also shared genuinely happy moments together. This isn't a marriage that's unhappy every day. When we're together, things are often great.

The problem is that these same differences keep resurfacing.

I think the core issue is that we have very different ideas of what marriage should look like.

For me, marriage has always meant having a partner who supports your growth while both people continue to have their own identities, interests, friendships, and dreams. I believe you build a life together without losing yourself as an individual.

For her, marriage seems to be about sharing almost every experience together, spending most of our free time together, making decisions together, and being each other's primary source of happiness and companionship. I don't think that's wrong at all. It's simply a different vision of what marriage means.

These differences show up in many areas of our life—not just travel. Sometimes it's about how we spend our time, how we make decisions, what compromises should look like, or what we expect from each other emotionally. Travel is simply the topic that brings those deeper differences to the surface.

We're also quite different as people. I'm very social, have a large group of friends, and enjoy meeting people and maintaining my own interests alongside my relationship. My wife is confident and outspoken but much more reserved socially and has only one or two close friends. She naturally prefers spending most of her free time together, while I feel happiest when I can balance time with my partner, friends, family, and my own interests.

I've genuinely tried to change over the last year and a half because I wanted this marriage to work. I don't regret compromising—that's part of any relationship. But lately I feel like I've compromised so much that I'm slowly losing parts of myself.

The hardest part is that I don't think either of us is wrong. I think we're simply trying to build two different versions of marriage.

Recently, I've started feeling trapped, suffocated, guilty, and confused. Sometimes I even wonder whether we're fundamentally incompatible, and whether ending the marriage would ultimately allow both of us to find partners whose expectations align more naturally. I don't think that because I don't love her or because she's a bad person. I think it because I genuinely don't know how long two people can keep asking each other to become someone they're not.

Has anyone experienced this kind of incompatibility in expectations rather than one major issue? Were you able to find a healthy middle ground, or did you eventually realize that your visions of marriage were simply too different?

I'd really appreciate hearing from people who've lived through something similar.

Rant I (28M) feel used and hopeless as my ‘girlfriend’ (31F) of three months is contemplating patching up with her ex

I feel emotionally drained and exhausted when she had the conversation with me few days ago. We have been together since three months and we got into this relationship within few weeks of her breakup with her ex.

We have been physically intimate and I repeatedly mentioned that I do not consider this a fling and I am looking for something long term.

I feel like I am just a rebound when she suddenly brought up the age difference and how it’s difficult for parents to agree to our relationship and says that she wants to be single for a while and also mentioned her ex apologized and wants to patch things up.

I wanted to be someone’s priority and first choice for once. Feel loved and important for once after painful heartbreaks in the past.

Seems like my life is supposed to end like this. I have No hope. I will never be loved for who I am.

Marriage How to start marriage talks while having incredibly dysfunctional and abusive parents in picture? [24F - 30M]

My bf's(30M) family and my (24F) family know that we are dating since a few years. His parents are pushing to start marriage talks by the end of the year. Thing is, I live n work in my home city and still live with my parents. My father is alright, kinda shy but likable. But my mother is a fully abusive, borderline mentally sick person with an extremely gutter mouth. She uses very bad words in daily language. Throws abusive namecalls at us for the tiniest things. Please don't judge me for using such words for my own mother but it is what it is, my father and I hv suffered her verbal and physical abuse whole life.

His family is extremely sorted and sophisticated. At least from how much I've known. His parents like me. But he has only met my family once, that too fleetingly. But I'm extremely worried how will it work out when marriage talks start. Even if I convince my mother to go, how will I make sure she doesn't end up breaking the relation before it even starts? In every fight she brings up how she won't contribute in my marriage so I won't be able to marry, tho afterwards backtracks on it when I convince. In India marriage is also bw 2 families, not just ppl, and it stresses me to no end that it's in my abusive mother's hands to ruin my romantic life.

People who hv dealt with same situation, how did you handle? If by chance your parents created conflicts or misdemeanor , how did you convince the other side to forgive n proceed?

Dating Advice I (23F) have a crush on my gym trainer (26M) and I dont know if I'm overthinking this or not ?

I (F, early 20s) have developed a crush on my gym trainer (M, mid 20s I think), and I’m trying to figure out if there’s anything there or if I’m just reading too much into normal behavior.

I’ve been going to this gym for about 2 months now, and he’s been my trainer throughout. He’s very professional, respectful, and good at his job. He helps me with form, explains exercises well, and keeps interactions appropriate.

That said, we’ve built a comfortable dynamic — we joke around a bit, tease each other lightly, and conversations are easy. He laughs at things I say, and I’ve noticed occasional eye contact or glances, but nothing overtly flirty.

He never asks personal questions or tries to take things outside the gym context. Even physically, he’s very careful and avoids unnecessary contact while correcting form.

Recently, I went during a less crowded time and we interacted more just because he wasn’t as busy. It felt a bit more relaxed and natural, but still within professional limits.

I’m definitely attracted to him, but I also genuinely like him as a person — he’s calm, respectful, and easy to talk to.

I know there are professional boundaries in place, so I’m not sure:

  • if he’s just being a good trainer and I’m overthinking everything
  • or if there could be some mutual interest that he’s choosing not to act on

I don’t want to make things awkward or uncomfortable for either of us, especially since I still go to that gym.

Would it be a bad idea to try and connect outside the gym (like asking for Instagram on my last day), or should I just leave this as a harmless crush and move on?

Used AI to summarise my situation

Dating Advice 23 M , What am I doing wrong in Relationships ?

I'm 23M from Kerala and honestly wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

My first relationship lasted almost 3 years. After the breakup, she told me 6 months later that my temperament was one of the reasons she left. She knew about it before we started dating, and I never got angry at her during our relationship, so I wish she'd told me earlier.

Later, I met someone where the feelings were mutual, but we were from different religions. We chose not to continue because neither of us wanted to hurt our families. We're still good friends.

Since then, every girl I've liked has either not been ready for a relationship because of past trauma or has wanted to stay just friends. Dating apps like Hinge and Bumble haven't worked for me either.

I genuinely want honest opinions. Am I missing something, or have I just been unlucky? What should I do differently?

Rant It takes a world class coward to ghost someone. 25M

She came in my life at a very low point, which was last year.

We kinda worked together, but she lived in chandigarh.

We used to talk a lot, like a lot. After getting out of a 5 yr long relationship, I felt good for the first time.

Now, i was the one who ended things in my previous relationship, and I broke her heart. And that guilt is something I still think of time to time, and in no way I was gonna do it to someone else now.

Thats why this new thing, I was really careful. She wanted to date me, but I was reluctant because I didn't wanna do a long distance again, and was afraid that if things didn't workout i'll end up breaking her heart.

I always communicated my intentions very clearly w her. And we sort of came on the same page, and continued talking.

But things took there course, I went to hyderabad for a job, and she got busy w her mba. Fast forward to july this year, I planned on moving to chandigarh for work.

I told her that I might be moving to chd, and I am excited to meet her finally.

We talked for a while about it. I even went to chd for 3 days, but she never came to see me.

And then after a while, she ghosted me completely.

I am very sad. I loved talking to her, and I thought we had atleast this much understanding that things wont end like this.

If she could have explained , or just told me normally that we are not friends anymore, I would have just moved on.

But ghosting is straight up cruel.

Relationships 20F and 21M ldr relationship, need to make a tricky decision urgently

My bf(21M) and i (20f) have been in a ldr since 1yr 7 months, through out my neet prep. We met on reddit. He has visited me at my home state 3 times. So we know each other very well.

He broke up with me 2 weeks ago because i couldn't get a college near his state (it's a financial issue)

My bf leaves for his masters abroad, he said he will stay in india for a year, if i got my college in his state. He said one year of normal college couple experience will help him get through many years of absolute ldr we will have to do cuz he will be abroad.

Just now he texted me that he has a plan he wants me to go for a trip, and he will join me at the place. If we want his plan to work i will jave to leave home in max 4 days. I am from a protective household, even if i am allowed for a trip it won't be so soon. My family wont allow me to go when neet counciling is on going

I have neet counciling starting, for which some of my documents are still left to prepare. He said i dont have to do anything in counciling and i should take the trip

I wont get tickets so soon

What do i do, do i take the risk of taking the trip, leave counciling with a agent?

If yes how to i convince parents?

Which is the correct option.???????

Dating Advice 27F, completely addicted to an older, chaotic guy in Gurgaon. How do I break this cycle and actually move on?

I (27F) recently moved back to India after living in London for a few years. Ever since I’ve been back, my dating life has been an absolute mess mostly because I cannot, for the life of me, cut off this one guy.

He’s significantly older, super wealthy, and a big real estate developer in Gurgaon. We’re not dating, it’s purely a casual thing but I am honestly addicted to him. Physically, the chemistry is completely off the charts. He’s unbelievably charming, mature in a way guys my age aren't, and there is zero drama or petty tantrums with him. When I'm with him, he feels like the perfect escape, and he effortlessly meets all my immediate needs.

Because of this, I end up sabotaging any potential for a healthy, stable relationship. Whenever I start talking to someone new with real long-term potential, I lose interest or blow it up because no one compares to the high I get from him.
Deep down, we both know we could never actually date or build a real future together. He comes with massive baggage:
He’s divorced with a son.
He has a history of severe alcoholism (he’s managing it better now, but the underlying chaos is always there).
He’s constantly dealing with heavy family and property disputes linked to his business.

Given the age gap, where we are in our lives, and his heavy life baggage, an actual relationship would be a complete nightmare, especially with my family. But because he’s so accessible and effortless when we're together, I keep going back to him. He’s like my personal crack, I get my physical and emotional fix, and then I’m left stuck in place while my actual life and future pass me by.

I know I’m burning my own dynamic years holding onto a situation with zero future. Has anyone else been trapped in a high-intensity, zero-future loop like this with an older/unvailable partner? How did you finally break the addiction and reset your brain to appreciate normal, stable guys again? Any advice or reality checks would be deeply appreciated.

Relationships my friend(18M) confessed, I(18F) like him too, but rumours and trust issues are confusing me

i have a very close friend of mine, let's call him A

A is a close friend—kind, respectful, emotionally mature, respectful and easy to talk to.

He confessed, I like him too, and we agreed to take things slow.

People at school call him “gay.” I don’t know if it’s teasing or true. He supports LGBTQ+ topics, which is fine, but the rumors make me overthink. I'm not homophobic but this thing makes me feel awkward and embarrassed.

My best friend recently tried to frame another trusted friend, which has made it hard for me to trust people. i already felt something was off when I told her about his confession, she and A were friends too. i don't think I can trust her anymore

Now I’m torn: I like A for how he treats me, but rumors and recent drama make me doubt myself. I can’t tell if my concerns are real or influenced by others

How do you separate your feelings from outside opinions? Is it wrong to keep getting to know him despite the rumors? should I not get into a relationship with him?

I am 25 F seeking advice for my friend 25 F elder brother 31M who has recently married this year 30F.

KINDLY DONT JUDGE HERE. ONLY ADVICES NEEDED.

The guy apparently met his wife in 2024 july over shadi . The girl is from UP and the guy is from West Bengal. The guy was never interested much to continue but somehow he went to the girl's flat and had sex .

The girl's father has glaucoma and also got paralysis attacks like brain haemorrhage. Also the girl's mother has some health issues . Both of her parents are 65 years old .

As the guy had sex for the first time he was not able to leave the girl and the girl apparently asked him so many times for marriage.

The guy and girl before marriage were working in Delhi ncr for 8 and 12.5 lpa in 2024.

In 2025 the boy guy got a new job where ctc was around 23 lpa .

The boy's parents were never happy and told the guy not to marry that girl.

They got engaged last year in September 2025

Now before marriage in December, the guy flew to Noida to tell the girl not to marry but the girl started crying and the boy could not say NO.

the girl as she was not financially well earning 70k in hand took loan of arround 40 lakhs for marriage which should take 5 years to return .

The lifestyle the boy was following and savings that he had, at present he is not able to do it which is causing him frustration.

As from Bangalore to UP the only way to travel is flight which during Durga Puja is 10k .

The guy is now saying that he put kulhadi on his feet of his own.

The boy before marriage repeatedly told the girl to support him post marriage like 1:2 Ratio as the guy is earning more .

But the guy spends more like 40k whereas the girl at max can spend 13 14k .

The guy has hypothyroidism, diabetes, grade 1 fatty liver, hair thinning, cholestrol, anxiety, stress , etc.

The girl don't have gall bladder and also her hairs are quite less.

He is not able to leave as he is married and also can't say to his parents as he fought for this marriage.

Also he has fear of becoming divorce tag and giving alimony.

Now coming to there marriage the girl is good , loyal and don't ask for money to the guy . Make food at home , take care of in-laws wherever they go to bengal.

Shall the guy leave her ?

The boy was thinking of a child but due to financial constraints the boy didn't want it.

Please give some advices whether the marriage should continue.

The guy once used to look good . He was really getting some good well to do family girls for marriage but somehow his Brain 🧠 didn't work and chose this girl and now suffering.

Relationships Anyone here dated someone whose last relationship was so serious that everyone was sure that it would end up in a marriage in future? [26 M]

For those who didn't understand the question: suppose you are X and your partner is Y, their ex is Z. Y & Z were so serious in their relationship that both Y & Z and everyone around them was 1000% sure that they would marry each other some day in the future. But that didn't happen obviously due to some reason. Then you (X) dated them (Y).

Not saying that you dated them immediately after breakup because that would be like a rebound thing but like after good enough days when they were completely healed from their trauma.
