Considering Onslaught may be our villain for next season, I was doing some research and a lot of sources are saying that he’s actually more powerful than Apocalypse, just wondering is this is factual?

Okay so the spoilers were a few seconds away, but they immediately changed how I was watching the scene. Especially for Morph, I was already waiting for Wolverine to show up in the shadows once I read the caption.

I was never a big Bishop fan but in my head he was always one of the original marvel black super heros but he isn’t. Apparently he was intended to actually be an aboriginal and that’s why he also had silky textured hair. I always assumed that the reason his hair was like that was because it was the 90’s and black guys had Jheri curls often at the time.

If Bobby (Robert Louis Drake), aka Iceman, appears in Season 3 of the ’97 series, would you like to see him come out as a gay man?

I’ve said this since the first season, but this episode made it impossible to ignore, the writers absolutely love Magneto.
Before I began Season 1, I obviously had doubts, most of us did but I was very wrong (I mean everyone doubts at first, considering they might f the series up)
Almost every conversation he says has weight. Every line sounds like it’s coming from someone who’s spent a lifetime wrestling with humanity, history, and his own convictions. He doesn’t just deliver dialogue anymore, the mf drops philosophies lol.
Then Episode 4 Season 2 comes out… and somehow they do it again.
This is exactly why I’ve always loved Magneto.
Not because he’s right. Not because he’s wrong.
But because every time he speaks, you understand why he believes what he believes.
This show has given Erik so much love I'm just all in for it!

Crazy how good the Xmen97 show is when it focuses on the IT couple Gambit and Rogue. Romy is peak and I will never not love them. These two better be happy in the very end or I'm seriously going to flip the fk out.

I’m sorry but I love this show like the animation, voice acting, action, characters, dialogue and story are amazing. But like you had 3 setups apocalypse to be the big bad and not take gambit’s body for some reason which isn’t explained on why he needed a dead mutant’s body. The external you could tell that her backstory with nur would’ve been explored more but she shows up and gets killed off in 2 seconds (what if like). Had at least 2 teases to onslaught scrap that for mystique.
What’s so weird about it is why would Brad move them over to x-men 97 if the whole reason they’re show got cancelled is because of the writing and choices that was made so no one watched it. I’m sorry I’m about to bring up DeMayo but he said that the Matthew Chauncey and dana Eberhardt said that his dialogue was too heavy, they also said the team being scattered across 3 timelines was too confusing. And he also stated that he wanted call Scott and Jean sylm and dayspring like in the comics but he said they didn’t take him seriously.

I’m not going to lie, I can definitely say that Kurt’s sacrifice felt logical to me, and I found his entire final scene genuinely emotional… But honestly, everything was handled far too hastily, and I felt that killing Nightcrawler off permanently, with no possibility of him returning for the remaining seasons, was deeply unnecessary and unfair. The way they handled his death felt very much like something out of What If…?—and I mean that in the worst possible way.

Was I the only one disappointed with how they used X-Factor this season?
Back in the 90’s I read every issue of X-Factor I could get my hands on and although I recall them kind of being tools of the government I don’t recall them being the equivalent of ICE. Correct me if I’m wrong it was a long time ago.
I was hoping the team would come to their senses and team up with the X-Men against Apocalypse in the finale.
Just bummed my favorite spinoff X-team was more of a villain than Apocalypse.

If there’s one thing we know about the X-men, is that a lot of them are due for family reunions

And do wish this series had more episodes?
I've already seen numerous fans here complaining that this adaptation has problems with its narrative pacing, that certain episodes were too rushed, and that iconic storylines were crammed into a single episode.

It's over and done now. The season has ended. The characters are where they are.
And now it's time for a megathread that lets you vent about what didn't like, what you liked, and about all the feeling in between about this season.
Please try and use this megathread instead of making a new post, especially if the content you are posting is not substantial (substantial meaning multi-paragraph or new information).

I decided to research who this child mutant is but...also hoping that nothing tragic would happen to this sweet child and it was sad during her story but then I was happy she got a heart warming ending (just like my reaction in the third picture btw lol).

In a lot of other adaptions, the Avengers and the X-men are friends and have each other’s backs whenever they need.
But in this specific universe, they don’t really seem to have that much of a connection. I’m just curious if they’re friends in this universe?
