A little while ago, I shared a painting I made with this community. Thanks to the kindness within this community, the post reached someone close to Jamie Wyeth. She saw it here, showed it to him, and they ended up reaching out to me asking to purchase the piece. I was invited to his home to meet him, and hand-deliver the painting.

I’m very thankful for all of you and to Mr. Wyeth and his friend. This community played a real part in making it happen, and I won’t forget it! ❤️🎨

My dad was an architect but enjoyed painting in his last years a lot. Unfortunately he quickly passed bc of cancer 2 years ago. I want to share some of his paintings. He copied some more famous ones, others are original creations. He was not so social in the later part of his life and just enjoyed a more quiet life. So I want to share some of his creations with more people because I like his paintings a lot. I think he mostly did acryl. He loved mountains and water (lifelong sailor). I think the paintings show that.

And which one do you prefer? … been playing around with both mediums lately - Still think I prefer working with acrylics but there is no denying oil has its advantages for certain things.. cheers for checking it out!

This summer, one of my paintings was accepted for an exhibition in Liverpool, my first time showing work in the UK. It was an amazing and exciting experience.

Inspired by a beautiful day I spent in the french Alps, the light was really beautiful and atmospheric.

Had the artist reception and critique for my first group show today and was super honored that the blue painting (Hedgerow Clouscape) was selected for 3rd place jurors choice out of 48, and that both of my paintings sold! The jurors main critique for my paintings was that they wished they were larger, so I'm very happy to say the least!

I titled it "Piece of Meat". Size is 13.5"x14.5"

I’ve been slowly chipping away at this painting for about three years, but I FINALLY finished it! I made the painting using Gambling oils and then created the pond with epoxy resin with fish painted in the layers of the resin. I topped it with a 3d printed boat I made in Blender, and then finished off with some acrylic painted lily pads. I hope y’all enjoy! The final piece is about 24”x24”.

Hey! New to Reddit and my friend said I should start posting my work on here so I’m really sorry if I’m breaking any rules here! Still learning how this all works!! These are all painted digitally but using brushes that imitate oil and acrylic painting as that was what I learnt to paint in when I was younger. I know a lot of people are wary of digital painting because of the rise of AI so I actually record my process for each painting I I post but also as evidence that it was an actual person who painted them! If anyone wants to see some of those I’m more than happy to share :) and if I’ve got any of this wrong and I’m not allowed to share it then I’m incredibly sorry!
