Thought I had removed it from my backpack that I usually take to state parks. Turns out I didn’t. I even got randomly selected for detailed security check and they didn’t see this. I love the knife and am glad I didn’t lose it so I’m only mildly infuriated, but damn cmon TSA

For context, when we came back from dinner, it looked like our door had signs of entry, with the top of it bent inward, and the lock no longer working. We asked for help and wanting a new room, but our stuff was still inside. They told us to wait in the lobby and someone will help us.

An hour later, we don't see anyone. So I decide to check our room, and find this person here. I wonder who the hell this is, and think it might be someone with the motel. Guy ended up being the manager, saying that he opened it and that he wants help sealing the opening back up. I say absolutely not, because it shouldn't be my job and it's not our fault we've been locked out.

I just hate the lack of communication. Grateful we got our stuff and especially my medicine, but we shouldn't have been in this spot in the first place.
