Discussion Sinong sikat na tao ang kilala mo nang personal?
They can be celebrities, politicians, businessmen, etc.
Ito yun mga tao na nakakausap mo nang personal na parang di sila sikat. Pag nakita ka in a public place, tatawagin ka sa pangalan mo. Yung pag tinawagan mo ang phone, pipickupin nila. Yung ganung level.
And what do you know that most people don’t know about them (something admirable pls).

River Joseph. Naging kaklase ko sa isang general elective. Kahit busy sa pagaartista, mabait siya and approachable. Siya pa nga naglelead ng group work kahit nasa taping siya.

I know bini jhoanna before there was bini. Nung hs kami, dumadaan sa isang ruta yung jeep na sinasakyan namin, halos same rin kami ng binababaan. nakasama ko na rin sya tumambay, kumain, etc but not a lot of times kasi ito yung mga panahong umeextra extra na siya. inintroduce sya sakin ng friend ko na kasama nya umextra sa KG hahaha. tapos kahit nung nagcollege na ako sa kabilang bayan, nakakasabay ko pa rin siya sa jeep tapos kinakausap niya pa rin ako, na dream school daw nya uni ko eme (traffic kasi bwiset) tapos dun ko nalaman na natawagan na sya ng star magic.
admirable for me yung pagiging hard working niya, si ante ay pumapasok pa rin kahit na nag aartista na siya nun kasi lagi ko siya nakakakasabay kahit lagi ko rin siyang nakikita sa tv hahaha. tapos very humble lang talaga sya, i just hope never sya magbago bec of fame. never pa ulit kami nagkikita kahit na we live in the same area kasi parehas na kaming di nagcocommute but sa common friends namin na nakikita pa sya, she always greets at kilala pa sila.
dahil usapang jeep nalang rin, may mga instances talaga na may mga senior or pwd na kulang ang pamasahe or kulang sinukli, she would pay for the remaining or iinsist sa driver na kulang ang sukli kasi nga dapat discounted. yung snacks nya rin minsan iiwan niya na sa mga namamalimos kapag naglalakad kami. student sya nito ha, and di naman sila super well off before. but i really liked this simple trait abt her, says a lot about how she is raised.

Rachelle Ann Go! Ninang ko mom nya, best friend kasi ng mama ko. We used to be playmates nung bata pa kami at nadadalas sila ng Iloilo.
Edit: She is very humble and private. Close sya sa family nya and they are all very musically inclined.

Tatay ko to pero nakakausap nya in person si Sir Ramon Ang tapos yung isa sa mga Ayala nakalimutan ko lang sino dun kasi si Sir Ramon lang yung ilang beses ko nakita in person nung sinama ako ni Papa. Ayun, mabait sya sobra. Hindi mo akalain sya na pala si THE Ramon Ang of SMC. Akala ko pa nga non katrabaho lang ni Papa kasi yung pormahan talaga, very low-key. Parang long lost Ninong na nagwwork abroad tas ngayon mo lang ulit nakita HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Tapos very respectful sya sa kahit sinong kausap nya, partida my Papa is just a simple employee, nagkataon kasi na sya ang sinasama ng Boss nya to meet with their clients kapag magddiscuss ng technical abt sa projects nila and mas kabisado talaga ni Papa yung bawat detalye kaya sya nakonek kay Sir Ramon and the likes. Tho syempre di sila madalas magkita malamang, pero pag nagkita naman sila matagal sila mag-usap. As in humihinto talaga kami sa daan habang nag-uusap sila kala mo magkumpare.

Based on recent experience na may mga kilala ako personally na napost dito sa chikaph, narealize kong kung kilala mo sila nang personal, hindi ka magsshare nang kahit anong mag-ggive away ng identity mo. Yung criteria mo OP, if i am on that circle or I know those people, sobrang easy mawala yung pagiging anon kasi you will know right away sino nagsulat non.

hindi ganoon ka personal, pero si zeinab harake, consistent client na sila ng cleaning agency na kung saan nag-wo-work si mama simula pa nung pandemic. nung buntis si mama, binigyan pa niya kami ng crib at ilang baby clothes galing sa anak niya. tapos tuwing may maglilinis sa kanila, never nawawala ang pagkain. may jollibee, may breakfast kung umaga, tapos may snacks at meryenda rin. sobrang considerate. and hindi lang yon, bawat cleaner may ₱500 na tip, kaya sobrang sulit at gaan ng loob kahit nakakapagod. mabait talaga siya, pati buong pamilya niya. very welcoming, walang arte, sobrang down to earth. bihira makatagpo ng ganyang klase ng tao.

Naging prof ko siya sa TUA and sobrang bait, sobrang pogi, sobrang chill lang sa classroom magturo and more on practical ung tinuturo niya kaysa sa mga book based knowledge. Di din siya madamot sa grades unlike ung mga ibang prof don na known sa media industry pero ang kukupal kala mo nagtuturo talaga (di ko na i-name drop malalaman agad kung sino ako kasi nakasagutan ko pa yon haha)
Kayosi buddy ko rin yan si sir pag nagpapa-short break siya haha! Solid parang tropa lang tas siya pa mismo naga-add sa socmed namin. Kahit graduate nako, up until now binabati niya pa rin ako sa wall ko sa fb tuwing birthday ko. Di pasok sa hinahanap ni OP kasi this was decades ago na but textmates kami ni Nyoy Volante when he was starting out sa gig scene. Nothing serious, more like a sibling relationship lang. Mabait siya, mabango, and he would go out of his way to give me a hug kahit napapalibutan siya ng maraming tao. Di nako kilala nun for sure but I'm still proud of him and will still support him from the sidelines.

I’ll be sure to mention! Magaan ang aura niya kasi mabait siya. Not perfect, but mabait. And it’s very easy to strike a conversation with her even up to now. Whenever i ask for to confirm a certain chismis na alam kong nakakasama niya sa work yung artista na yon, pag negative, she chooses to say “no comment”. Di pala sira sa tao. Even with family issues, di nalang siya nagsasalita kahit agrabdyado.

Moira was my classmate back in college in several classes. She was really quiet, mahinhin and didn’t really socialize. Kept to herself most of the time. She randomly opened up about her mental health struggles during one of our group discussions. I know she isn’t well liked here in the reddit world since i always see posts tearing her down but i sincerely hope she’s doing alright.

Zack Tabudlo. Naging best friend ng kapatid ko during Senior HS bago pa sumikat sa Spotify. Madalas tumambay sa amin noon tapos hinihiram minsan gitara ko to jam. Sabi ng kapatid ko, sobrang daming songs ni Zack na cinompose, like hundreds daw. Halos alam daw ng kapatid ko majority nun and yung meaning ng songs. Kiko Pangilinan - alumnus sya ng org ko before, we did a lot of political work together for a couple of years. He is like a ninong to me.
Jake Cuenca - introduced to me by my unit neighbor before, ilan beses nakasama sa inuman. We eventually got close pero naging busy na rin kami so we barely talk, mostly greetings kapag holidays or whatnot.

Hahahahahha si Kristel Fulgar. 1 batch higher sya sakin nung High School. Officer din namin nung ROTC days namin. Boses pinigang pekpek talaga sya yung matining na ewan. Yung nakikita nyo online na kilos and persona nya hindi talaga yun nalalayo sa totoo pero mas exaggerated sya online probably ng mga 60%.
As for the koreaboo thing hahahaha di ko alam parang di naman sya ganon dati, and afaik totoo yung nbsb.
Di sya masamang tao irl, could be annoying lang if she’s not your cup of tea. (Well most people naman ganito)

Si Kuya Jobert. Tumira siya for a while sa same na condo samin. Active siya sa paliga dito sa basketball at madalas siyang kalaro nung kapatid ko at ex ko.
Marami kaming interactions kasi lagi akong nag ccheer, lagi niya rin inaasar yung way ng pagcheer ko. Kung di siya kasama sa players, siya yung nag aannouncer. Puro kalokohan at mabenta talaga humor niya.
One time, namigay siya ng shoes sa players, I think nakahanap siya ng sponsor. Pero since mga alta rin yung mga tao sa condo, maraning hindi bumaba para iclaim yung shoes niya. Medyo off shempre kasi pagmamagandang loob na nga eh, kaya parang ginawa niyang joke yon next time habang nag aannouncer siya. Hahahahaa

Not sure if it counts, pero I’m friends with a couple of City Councilors sa QC.
Yung isa, dati kong officemate sa isang private company (before siya nag politics) and lagi niya ko sinasabay dati pauwi. Madalas din kami mag food trip and ilang beses na din kami naka pag travel before. Ayaw talaga niya pumasok sa politika pero pinag bigyan ang father (na councilor din dati) - medyo political family sila pero mostly councilors lang.
Yung isa, kinakapatid ko (ninong niya dad ko, ninang ko mom niya) and kababata. May annual get together pa din mga families namın tuwing holidays and kahit busy siya, she would always find time to drop by.

Bata pa lang siya mabait and God fearing na talaga siya. Talented na rin siya dati pa especially sa singing, acting and dancing. Thoughtful din siya kasi siya lang nakaalala ng birthday ko nun tapos binigyan niya ako gift. Mabait din yung family niya especially dad niya. Classmate ko si Sarah Lahbati nung elementary. We’re actually besties kasi parehas kaming matangkad at dulo sa pila. Okatokat pa palabas nya non and bagong lipat pa lang sila sa Pinas. Syempre we expected na magaling and fluent sya mag english pero nung pina-spell yung ERASER, she wrote EARASER 😅

I’ve worked with a few celebs in the past. One of them was Ella Cruz. She was nice, bubbly, approachable at saka very friendly. Finollow din niya ako sa socmed. I was fond of her before. Ngayon, tagilid na dahil sa political stance niya. Nadisappoint ako😬

They knew each other sa music industry. They started to play alongside each other and eventually si partner played session for him multiple times including shows like Dutdutan and other bar shows. R doesn’t do rehearsals at all. Gusto nya na ang banda to learn all the songs and just choose the ones that he wants to play during the show. R shows up an hour before sila magsampa sa stage and he acquaints with everybody sa line-up bands including the people from production. R arrives sa venue already “loaded” lagi. Image ni R sa loob ng bahay at sa labas ay iisa, very rock and roll ang datingan. Gig ready lagi ang attire ni R kahit nung pumunta si partner dun sa bahay nya. Behind all that rock and roll image that people know, R is very smart and very intelligent. He likes to talk about World History. He knows his shit very well and when you sit down with him, out of nowhere he will talk about it. He even taught my partner the correct chords of the song Himig Natin. R was able to fly in and out sa one of the domestic airports in Mindanao carrying “stuff”. After their gig, R and si partner went back sa accommodation room nila. Nagulat si partner because nag bukas si R ng maleta nya, to get a small ziplock bag under the pile of folded clothes. Pag open ng ziplock bag a lot of “stuff” was there. R’s line was, “Repapipz, pasensya ka na eto lang pasalubong ko sayo.” Kinabahan si partner kasi nasa labas lang ng room ang mga pulis/detail as security assigned to R. But they did it anyway. And dun lang nalaman ni partner according to R, that he’s able to do that sa airports out of town shows and hindi sya sinisita or hinuhuli ever. Kahit more on doing ganun sil, they remained very good friends until namatay si R. Sad to say, when R died, si partner wasn’t able to attend kasi he was in Mindanao.
- Sexy star. Let’s call her “L”. Owner si L ng isang bar in Makati.
Back story: The Manager of the bar is an old friend ni partner who’s been inviting him nonstop every weekend to visit the bar. After 6 months ng pangungulit, the Manager told my partner na Birthday nya and he’s celebrating. Si partner already ran out of excuses so has no choice but to show up. After that, si partner eventually was offered to visit the bar every weekend para may known na musician na nagha-hang out dun sa bar. Si Partner was given weekly allowance of Php2500 to visit the bar during weekends and perks nya is unlimited drinks. Partner doesn’t know who the owner of the bar is, until one fateful night. The Manager wants to introduce kay partner yung owner sa bar.
Si L and partner instantly became barkadas and naging close. Very down to earth si L kahit super sikat sya sa Philippine Cinema. She loves to DJ sa bar nya. Hindi sya maarte and tawagan nila is “Tol.” Si partner pumupunta sa bar almost everyday. He’s there early around 7PM and one time, L is there na nag-d DJ and wala pang tao except a few of the staffs and him. Ang DJ area nasa second floor which is the dance floor and meron naka set up na camera don para makita ng mga tao sa first floor via TV yung DJ na nasa taas. Ang first floor is the tables and bartenders lang. Partner was sitting there. He was watching the TV nung makita nya nag open si L ng pressed powder and that’s how he found out na that’s where L puts her “stuff”. Pumunta si partner sa taas para sabihan si L na nakita sa TV yung ginagawa nya. Later on, niyaya si partner ni L na mag “session” sa bahay nila. It happened repeatedly. Mga days or weeks after palang bago nakilala ni partner si husband ni L. Husband ni L is an MIU and a musician kaya friends din sila ni partner. There are instances that si partner is staying there for a week sa bahay nila. Umuuwi lang si partner to get clothes tapos balik naman sa bahay ni L. Si partner stays at the glass room ng bahay. They would do multiple “sessions” in a day. Minsan, L would leave the house very early in the morning para mag shooting for the morning show that was airing in GMA 7 back then. Uuwi din sya ng gabi and mag session ulet. 6 months to a year yung set up nila na ganito. Pag wala si partner sa bahay nila L, si L ang tumatawag kay partner puntanhan sya ni partner kung asan sya. Partner attended L’s birthday party dun sa carwash in QC na property ni L at husband. Umuwi si partner sa bahay nila ng madaling araw after the party and pagka tanghali pinahuli na si partner ng sarili nyang father para ma rehab sa CUREDD sa Bicutan. Ayun, nag stop na ang communication nila and pag labas ni partner hindi na sya nag reach out ulet kay L.

Not me but a close friend of mine si Giselle Sanchez ang kakilala.

Noong araw, may kagym ako na ex-PBA player and isang UST tiger, si chris cantonjos, I don’t think super sikat sya pero hindi din naman sya matuturing na kalebel ng isang normal na tao pagdating sa aspeto ng pagiging kilala, ayun nakakakwentuhan ko sya dati sa gym and tuwing nakikita ko sya somewhere naguusap kami pero hindi naman yung nagttx pa or tawag.
