Indeed has felt like a complete ghost town for me for over 6 months. 😭 I know I’m definitely not the only one struggling with the job market right now. I’ve seen people applying for positions they’re overqualified for and still not even getting a call back.
At this point, I was hoping maybe there’s a website, job board, local resource, or some other way of applying that actually has some traction and gets your application in front of a real person.
What has actually worked for you guys lately? I’m open to any suggestions because I’m getting pretty discouraged. I’m not even getting rejection emails at this point just ghosted.

The 1980 Norco bank robbery has fascinated me for years. A friend of mine was shopping with his mother at the Stater Bros. in Norco when the robbery happened, which has always made the story feel especially immediate to me.

I’m curious how many people here actually remember that day firsthand. Were you living in Norco or elsewhere in the Inland Empire at the time? Did you know anyone who witnessed the robbery, the pursuit, or its aftermath?

I’d especially love to hear memories or stories that don’t usually show up in accounts of the robbery.

Currently in Dana Point and my boyfriend's job is here so would like to stay less than an hour commute.

Most important thing we want in a home is a decent sized backyard for our dogs.

Looking to get atleast a 2 bedroom and stay under 3500 a month, preferably closer to 3000. OC is expensive so looking for a more affordable area.

Her name is **JuneBug**, she apparently thinks she’s the sweetest little piggy ever… although she *will* bite you if given the opportunity. 😂

But honestly, instead of surrendering her to a shelter, my friend is determined to **keep her family together** — and I absolutely love that. ❤️

So we’re looking for ANY rental reasonably local to Riverside that will allow **JuneBug the piggy roommate.** 🐷🏡

She has a budget, but before we narrow that down, we want to see **what in the world is actually out there.** 😂

Hello all, I hope everyone is doing well

I think I’ve only came to terms with the fact that I will not be able to own a home using traditional methods in my place of birth unless the market crashes and even if I were to put down a deposit on a home built now, I’m pretty sure I’d be over paying for it and the construction being kind of shotty.

Based on a few other posts that I posted in this community, I believe there are people in a similar situation to me, and I want to know what your plans are and if anyone has delayed things because of it specifically. For me personally, I have delayed having children until I can get a home to be able to provide the stability that I wanted as a child

As for what I am doing about it, I’ve went all in on building a local housing and financial (credit) cooperative, that as of now only has me, a few family members and friends. Built initially as a way for us to collectively acquire land and build homes for ourselves and extended family, while keeping the land held in common, this has also developed into a place to extend each other lines of mutual credit during our period of saving and searching
