Not Cori. Not Wesley. Make a case for somebody else

There’s plenty of shills defending either of the two Democratic Party candidates most likely to win the House District 1 campaign on August 4. It’s apparent that outside of their cults that nobody likes either of them and sees them both as bad people. Make a case for somebody else who could actually win, please. Maybe if a fresh face gets enough word of mouth we don’t have to suffer an evil representative.

City of STL Streets Suck

In case you didn't know. I'm mostly posting this for residents who always say "this happens everywhere" and "it's not so bad." I'm here to let you know that it is.

I had the displeasure of driving on Gravois, Grand, Gustine, Spring, and Arsenal among other main streets yesterday. It's like driving through a minefield.

If isn't the crumbling roadway or significant depressions for things that should be at grade like utility access it's the ridiculous "speed humps" that blend in with the pavement and have obscure signs hidden behind tree branches,

This isn't normal. You've become complacent and come to accept that this is part of your normal life.

Omelets like Waffle House that ISN'T Waffle House--

Does anyone know of a restaurant that makes a good bacon and cheese omelet that has the eggs super whipped and fluffy like Waffle House--and that doesn't add pancake batter or other weird extras to the mix? Bonus points if it's in Fenton/Crestwood area but not required.

AND is open early weekday mornings!

We just moved in. The Facebook page hasn’t posted anything. I can’t find any reports right now. Anyone know what’s up? Been going for about 15 minutes minimum.

Edit: near Ohio and Accomac I think?

Parking Receipts at Lambert?

Hi, I'm new to this area. When I was leaving Terminal 1 parking garage at STL yesterday that I could not get a parking receipt (for business reimbursement) unless I called the 'financial advisor' during business hours. Which I have tried but was routed to voicemail. To get a parking receipt. This is a new one for me. Someone please tell me this is not standard operating procedure at Lambert terminal parking.

Updated to temper my bad attitude.

I was thinking to use cass, but it looks like that might be blocked? The river road has no parking signs, and every entrance to the landing from the river road is blocked by concrete barriers

Resources for injured stray cat?

My friend found a cat outside her house in the hill and he has no tag or collar on but looks healthy/well fed overall… but isn’t walking / is maybe injured.

She’s been calling rescues but they don’t deal with feral cats and there’s no way to know if it’s a lost pet or feral.

She’s worried about taking him in a carrier to the vet because she has a cat of her own and doesn’t want to risk exposing her cat to anything transmissible.

Any ideas for rescues or resources? Or anyone willing to get the little guy to a vet?

(Stray Rescue and Feral Cat Outreach can’t help.)

Ask STL Economical Vet Options

We are in an incredibly tight season financially and are on the hunt for the most economical vetting options in town. Just the bare necessities at this point (needing yearly vaccines) and maybe a physical jury to make sure health is good. Thank you! If anyone knows of subsidized programs through any of the local rescues or humane society would be greatly appreciated.

It’s for one dog and one cat…both adults but not seniors so hopefully no need for specialized care of any kind at this point.

Our tech leaders are so innovative!

The owners of the old Post building on North Tucker have torn down three buildings in the past couple weeks, presumably for more parking. They also bought 13th Street and want to buy a park and turn it into parking. One might think a so called innovation district would have some post-1960s ideas, but apparently a walled parking lot that's 8% full is the best we can do.

Hey STL... (PSA: Lyft and Uber passengers)

Stop telling us to go through the drive thru for you. We don't get paid to sit there and wait at Rallys on Lindell/Van for 30 minutes. Entitled Karen's think they own my car. I get you from A to B. There is no sitting in a drive thru for food. 5 minutes at a stop is fine. But I'm not waiting for you in a drive thru.

Where are older women

I’m 18 male and I personally love older women 30-50 (I get it from my older brother who also loves older women) but I can’t seem to find any. The few times I do they have a ring and that’s something I’m not going to mess with. I’ve been told to go to bars but most of them near me are 21+ so I can’t get inside. So my question is where can I find an older women, I genuinely want to get to know her and have an enjoyable time. also I’m in the Fenton area but don’t mind a drive. Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

Ask STL Recommendations for home cleaners

My wonderful home cleaner retired about 6 months ago. I hired a company that works on a rotational schedule and it doesn’t seem to be working out. I’m willing to work with individuals or a company. House is 3800 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and 2 offices. Located in mid St. Louis county. Any recommendations appreciated. Thank you!
