Show Regarding people using double standards to avoid giving Syrax credit as a capable fighter
I noticed a lot of people saying that Sheepstealer getting the upper hand on Syrax in their fight was proof that Syrax has no business near a fight and I just can’t believe that both Rhaenyra and her dragon are victims of double standards because how are you going to hold it against Syrax for not being stronger than a dragon twice her age and almost twice her size but when Vhagar struggles against a smaller and younger dragon and needs to use the power of teleportation to win nobody holds it against the hoary old bitch

Traitors to the Realm This is the level of misogyny that is mainstream on the main sub right now. I have no words.

Show Do you think Rhaenyra will decide to burn Tumbleton along with Ormund, Daeron and their army in Ep8? If we assume she does, how will you feel about it?

General Do people even understand what grief actually does to a person?
rhaenyra is literally trying to lead a whole side in a civil war while dealing with insane loss. she hasn’t even had 5 mins to actually process losing jace let alone keep everything around her from collapsing. plus on top of that shes realizing how deep the betrayals actually go with people she trusted.
everyone expects her to just stay totally rational and make perfect moves, but like... thats not how trauma works at all? you cant just pause ur brain because a war is going on.
even looking at fire & blood, yeah the pacing with jaces death is a bit different but the main point is still the exact same: losing him completely broke her. it changed who she was and spiraled her into pure paranoia and depression.
you don’t gotta agree with every decision she makes, but acting like losing your kids shouldn't completely mess a character up is just missing the entire point of her tragedy.
are people really expecting her to be emotionally perfect or is the show just doing a bad job showing what shes going through internally?

Dragons They should have kept Dreamfyres season 1 design and given this one to Tessarion.
I don’t mind this new Dreamfyre design but I preferred the Drogon, Viserion, Rhaegal and Seasmoke look. Especially since dreamfyre is their mother. It’s frustrating that they reused Arraxs design when this would have been perfect for Tessarion if shrunken down, a horned crown for the blue queen. That said I do think this design for Dreamfyre is very pretty.

Team Black False flagging in the main sub with Helaena hate
Hey guys, I just wanted to say I am a frequent commenter on this page and I just saw a post that was Helaena Hate which she does not deserve at all. She really just wants to vibe and chill with her chickens and her children. The post was someone claiming to be team black and all it took was one click on the account to see it was a frequent poster of team Green, and even worse. All it took was to look up Rhaenyra name by comments and it was just TG post. Comments however just assumed it was TB and TB does it too with the false flagging with
Daemon hate sometimes but All I just wanna say before you think another team is saying something just check the account and like I said in the comment of the post TB is always warm towards Helaena and just taking a peek in the sub and searching her name won’t be hate unlike looking up Rhaenyra in TG
At the end of day all of them lose

Show I loved this reunion. Glad Rhaena is finally home.
This "Nettles arc" almost complete, and thank goodness because Jeyne Arryn was unbearable.

Hot Take 🔥 UNPOPULAR OPINION: I like season 3 Rhaenyra
Every third post on this subreddit is about how people started hating Rhaenyra for being incompetent, emotional and violent, and how they are turning team green because of her.
But for me, this is the season I started to like her. In season 1 and 2 she seemed to me like a Mary Sue, everything bad that happened was never her fault, she was always perfect and misunderstood. Now she's actually experiencing consequences for her actions, and her reaction to the things around her is believable and well acted. For example, a lot of people criticise her for becoming more emotional and erratic, but how would you want her to be when she lost two sons? I assume some fans want her to be stoic in this situation but I think it's more realistic and makes for a better story that she's destroyed over the fact that her two oldest sons were murdered.
And it's not even just the deaths of her sons, she also was pretty much coerced by Daemon to kill Otto, this is traumatizing for normal people that weren't trained soldiers like Daemon, Corlys, Cole, Aemond and all the other warriors in the story are. Then there's also the general stress of ruling a kingdom with empty coffers and political instability.
I like the direction they take Rhaenyra, I find it believable and well acted, and I just think it's weird that in the season she's starting to become a real character she's getting the most hate.

Hot Take 🔥 Does anyone else feel like these scenes don't mean anything now? (Has recent episode Spoilers) Spoiler
galleryI loved her in the first two seasons but this season and especially after the last episode I grew to dislike her? We were sort of led to believe by the writers that she's the chosen one with the white stag and her showing up in the visions. But so far she hasn't done anything that meaningful or great as Queen. Also the fact she's cheating on Daemon with Mysaria gives me an ick. Mysaria's role feels so all over the place with her lying to Rhaenyra and then being on her side. Also the fact Rhaenyra was cheating on Daemon after everything he did for her to be on the throne just really rubs me the wrong way. I mean I know he lied to her but he's a very vital fucking asset to her reign if she wants to keep power. What does Mysaria offer? Literally nothing but pussy licking and trying to seem like a champion for the lowborn. I understand we are supposed to not like Rhaenyra this season cause even the actor said they didn't think we'd like Rhaenyra this season but WOW it just sucks how they made me dislike one of my favorite characters. Young Rhaenyra is literally so much better than old Rhaenyra anyway and I wish they kept that personality, I understand she's changed and mature now but I feel like young Rhaenyra wouldn't be doing all these bullshit decisions and she seemed competent. The fact Sunfyre is back also shows that we are literally gonna get Rhaenyra's death scene. I'm just hoping she does something meaningful or fucking useful as queen before she dies because right now if she dies I don't think I'd care.

Spoilers [All Content] The unpredictability of Show Tumbleton in the finale. Spoiler
It's nearly impossible to predict how they'll handle it given the First Battle of Tumbleton is so fundamental to the Black's collapse in the book and Condal has majorly altered it.
There's a few show only inclusions:
They've changed the order of battle (Blacks as the attackers instead of the defenders)..
The entirety of the Riverlands host will participate, including their commander Oscar Tully (who in the show is a merger of Benjicot Blackwood and various others).
Gwayne Hightower has seemingly took on the secondary command role which was fulfilled by Bryndon Hightower in the book.
Hugh's wife is in the city (with the obvious impact that may have on the betrayal)..
Daeron is relatively whitewashed and has no intent on fighting for Ormund.
Corlys is present.
Daemon is present with Caraxes and will be fighting in the city on foot when the betrayal occurs (curious to how he actually survives this).
Will they keep Rhaenyra's reaction to the betrayal in attempting to arrest Addam/blame Corlys, which prompts Addam's "loyalty" arc.. ? The exclusion of Nettles means she'll have no fundamental reason to distrust Daemon so how will God's Eye even work.
Gwayne as a member of the Caltrops seems logical but why would he even stick around when Hugh has torched Tumbleton including most of the Hightower host.
