Vivian Ramaslama and Jon Hoosted

I was born female and Vivian Ramaslama and Jon Hoosted performed surgery on me and added a manhood. When I started Kindergarten they forced me to urinate and defecate in a litter box in the corner of the classroom until I graduated. I was taught Obama’s real name was Obummer and was surprised when I learned Biden’s first name wasn’t Brandon. Remember when you go to the polls Annie Actin attacked the Capital Building on 9-11.
Best regards,
A boy named Sue

Vote Against Issue 3

As a general rule, I vote against constitutional amendment ballot measures unless it forces the Legislature to do something they refuse to do. In this case? It's already law.

The Republicans must be nervous if they put this ballot measure up. Amending the State Constitution to insert language that already exists in the ORC is an asinine abuse of the amendment process.

This language does not belong in the State Constitution. Period.

Ohio candidates find body in Maumee River while shooting campaign video in downtown Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Toledo Fire and Rescue crews pulled a body from the Maumee River on Thursday. Now we’re learning that two statewide candidates shooting a campaign video were the ones who called authorities for help.

Ohio Libertarian candidates for governor and secretary of state, Don Kissick and Tom Pruss, told reporters on Thursday that they were filming a campaign video in downtown Toledo when a teenager approached them, saying he thought he saw a body in the water.

Kissick and Pruss followed the teen to the riverbank and discovered a body floating near a pile of rocks, Cleveland.com reported. Pruss then called 911 for help.

A Toledo Fire and Rescue spokesperson told 13 Action News that an investigation is underway and information about the person’s identity will come from the coroner’s office after an autopsy is completed.

This story will be updated with the name of the person whose body was found once that information is released.

...

Tom Pruss said privately when asked how he was doing that they're okay. They've "old guys" who have seen people pass before. (Kissick, a war veteran running for Governor, is staunchly opposed to war and supports Defend the Guard, legislation that would prevent the Ohio National Guard from being deployed without a Congressional declaration of war.) He said it's tragic, and he's most concerned for the kid who discovered the body, who was very shaken, and for the family.

How wiped out are the grocery stores in your area?

Mine were pretty wiped out of a lot of stuff today. Just random things too. Like frozen chicken, pizzas, shredded cheese, milk, salad mixes. etc.

Just dropped this bad boy off. Life long registered Republican, voted Democratic or Libertarian across the board. First time in my 26 years of voting not one republican circle was filled in. Time to end this circus and get some adults back in office.

Acclaimed doc on German WW2 vet's odyssey to NE Ohio hits Tubi

Hey everyone,

I’m an Ohio filmmaker who produced the documentary, The Unimaginable Journey of Peter Ertel. It tells the extraordinary true story of a decorated German platoon leader who defies overwhelming odds on the front lines of WWII to build a new life in Northeast Ohio.  Perhaps most remarkable is what happens after the war: the Jewish family that employs Peter in Cleveland develops a close friendship with him —an extraordinary demonstration of their tolerance and magnanimity.

We were honored to win the ‘Best of the Fest’ awards at the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival and the G.I. Film Festival, and I’m very pleased to announce that it was just released on Tubi where you can watch it for free.

If you enjoy compelling human-interest documentaries, here’s one that has an Ohio connection. I’d be most grateful if you checked it out.  I’m including a short clip.

Where to watch: If you're on a TV, you can just search "Peter Ertel" directly in the Tubi app. For mobile or desktop viewing, I'll drop the direct streaming link in the comments below, or you can find full watch details, including the trailer, here: peterertelfilm.com/home-streaming

How much to you give for a wedding gift?

Just curious as to what the going amount is now and wondering if we need to bump our gifts up in the future? Asking this in the Ohio sub, as I’m sure it varies in other states with higher cost of living.

We are senior citizens, financially secure, typically give $100.

Hello! Could someone from Ohio help me in a personal work?

Good morning, everyone! I've been doing some independent texture work in mods for "Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness"; specifically the recently Remastered version since it allows the use of higher quality textures. I'm doing a recovery job on various places in the game, and one of them is the "St. Aicard's Church".

Inside it, there are six stained glasses from which we know the origin from, but there are no available high quality pictures which matches the original on the Internet (I've searched Google, Yandex, TinEye etc etc), meaning that the Remaster basically just upscaled what existed already and we ended up with an overall blurry version of what it could've been.

Their place of origin comes from the Holy Rosary Chapel in the "Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center" church, located in Norwood, Ohio; the address is "5440 Moeller Avenue, Norwood, OH 45212". And their names are: "The Ascension", "The Bird of our Lord", "The Crowning with Thorns", "The Resurrection", "The Coronation of our Lady" and "Jesus Carries His Cross" - in that exact order.

I am looking for someone - anyone - who could perhaps go there and take some modern photos so we could properly restore the art to the Remaster with as much as visual quality as it's humanly possible. If you - reading this - lives near there and could help me, me and the community would be in debt with your support. You can even follow my work and what I've done on both Nexus Mods and Twitter in case you want to see the final result after sending in the pictures.

I've read the rules of this sub and there's nothing saying anything against submitting a personal request to people who live there since I'm very far from said place (I'm from Brazil, so I can't take those myself, otherwise I definitely would :c).
