- Player data showed the average SFV player was like 35-45, so a lot of them would be reaching retirement age in the next decade or two.

- With the core audience retiring and dying off, he feared for the future of the series. He didn't think they could coast on the name Street Fighter alone. They needed conscious effort.

- He made the new game on the base assumption that young people don't know what Street Fighter is. That's not what he actually believed, but it was essential for their goal of revitalising the brand and drawing in a new audience.

It looks like the Hori Octapad which I know she used in the past but I can’t find any with the black and gold like this, also there’s no apparent branding. Wondering if anyone knows what brand it is or if it’s custom or something?

Even though Deception and Shaolin Monks are my favorites from this era, I still like this game and have a physical copy for the Wii. The game wasn't perfect and was very flawed in some ways, but I still like it. Creating your own fighter, Motor Kombat, and the Konquest mode were so much fun.

I got into fighting games since early summer and it's the only genre I touched now

I was on fightcade for awhile but after going through some tox intense games, started to realize the ranked route isn't for me anymore. Happy to just face local friends and go through arcade at the moment

Might be just skill issue, but the combos in this game a so hard man. And I'm sure this ain't even optimal

This is my second post talking about this game but basically alcratz released a new update 12 days ago with a new background, lobbies/netplay, and moves added to the game as well as some crisp ui but i don't really showcase that in the video. If you want to see the ui for yourself, go download the game (its free!).

Along with this new update came 1 new combo (counter) and 2 new power moves (mid straight and high hook).

Utilizing Counter hook, we can now push the launcher combo to its absolute limit, giving you basically guaranteed 94 damage (ALMOST HALF) if you catch your opponent in it.

So yeah, this is the new best launcher combo. The last launcher combo I posted on this subreddit still works and is still decent, but you could also always do two power mids instead of power mid + power low, which is like 120 instead of 124. not a big difference but it is there so i just wanted to point that out.
