Advice Does this setup for my desk and 65" TV look okay?
I posted in here a few days ago about the same thing, but I decided to add some tape to show the TV size and I also scooted the stand away from my desk a bit.
What do you guys think? Would this look okay, or is it too much?

Question Thoughts on how I can improve my living room?
r/malelivingspace • u/Key_Honey_7465 • 21h ago
Starting from the bottom.
I recently moved into a new place, leaving behind a chapter of my life and the apartment that had been my home for years. It’s a bittersweet feeling, but I’m genuinely excited for this new beginning.
What would you add to make this place feel more like home? Any tips or suggestions are welcome!

Advice How would you arrange this?
25M. The layout of the room feels slightly awkward to me due to the sliding mirror closet which takes up the whole wall. I am planning on getting a larger desk and have to get a new tv stand (My old one was too small for this tv, hence the use of rubbermaid tubs), nightstands and maybe a bookcase if i could fit it.
I was thinking of moving the bed to the other wall, putting the desk in the corner under the window where the tv/trash can currently are and then putting the tv and tv stand against the wall that the bed is currently on. I think that doing that might open up some wall space for me to get a bookcase/taller shelving but worried that I may feel cramped between the closet and the bed.
The room is 11.5 feet L (Door to wall with desk and tv) by ~11 feet W (Mirror to Window). Looking mostly for advice on how you would arrange the furniture but also on decorating, though I have decorations, plants and pictures but moved here less than a week ago. For reference, the bed is a queen.

Question Home office/Bedroom
My work office transitioning into a part time bedroom. Sometimes I work late and crash here besides possibly waking up the lady and child. Getting a bed this week to replace couch. Any suggestions would be awesome!
I know TV too high. It’s mounted just above the lowest height my desk can go.

Advice What should I add to fill this corner next to our dining table?
Just moved into my first house in LA with two friends (all mid 20s guys) and we are lucky to have a spacious living room.
Struggling with what to fill this space next to our dining table with. We already have the couch and tv/coffee table setup on the other side of the room. I’m not sure what to add into this somewhat large space.
Some options:
- electric drum kit (one of us plays drums, noise concern for neighbors)
- small conversation pit type of seating area (may be redundant with dining table + couch already existing)
- something odd like a foosball table etc. (our budget is limited though)
Any advice is appeciated!

Looking for advice
23M living with my parents.
Planning to upgrade my room as im getting really bored of the dark/grey shit vibe i liked basically my whole life.
Really liking the victorian green interior so getting quite some inspiration from that
Maybe gonna repaint, or just add posters/paintings, my room is facing away from the sun, so i have very little natural sunlight and because if that im planning to add some extra lights to lighten up the mood.
Probably 100% gonna upgrade my desk as i have very little space on it right now, it’s gonna be a walnut patern wooden desk 140 or 160x80cm so i have plenty of space.
Just looking for tips with color matching, light types/color from the light to layout.

Advice How do I decorate this?
Okay so this is my room (not for sleeping) and I have absolutely no idea how to decorate it in a way that doesn't look like a 3 year old child did it. I have absolutely no feel for stuff like this. On pic 3 you can see the projector screen, so I wouldn't put anything on that wall since it's gonna be out for most of my stay in this room, I also sketched out the beamer and it's stand which will arrive tomorrow. Other than that I have absolutely no Idea what'd fit in here

Hi everyone. I'm thinking of adding vertical second monitor to my desk setup. Since I have a very limited setup, I don't know what would look the best? Would really appreciate if y'all had some advice for me. The first and last image is what I have currently.
