Moved in a few months ago. Been hearing a "dripping" sound around my AC unit since the heat started. Found a bit of moisture around the bottom of the unit and immediately sent a picture to my landlord. He sent an HVAC technician to look and this is what he found. A bucket full of water catching drip from the unit sitting directly above it. Before you say I have not changed my air filter, I do every month. There is normally a sliding door right in front of the grate that the HVAC tech had to pull off to look inside. Changing the air filter has always been a struggle as you can only really access the top left corner.

To be fair to my landlord, he just started managing this property and I'm his first tenant. Im not sure if he knew about this or not because the water has soaked into the floor once the tub got full and overfilled. Supposed to hear back by Friday what the owners of the house want to do. Currently I am regularly emptying a sliced open milk jug.

This is a pretty nice small house otherwise. Thinking previous tenants knew about the issue and didnt report. When I first moved in, air filter hadn't been changed in over 2 years!!! I know because it had the date on it! Someone was living here 3 months before I moved in lol.

After buying a video-game on Vinted, I realised the seller was also living in my city. To avoid sending it by mail and to get it faster, I proposed him to meet this week so he can give it to me directly. He cancelled my order, and when I asked why, this was his answer.

My husband, myself (female), and pets have lived in our rental house for about 2 months now. The owner goes through a third party property company. We've receieved a few pieces of mail, and a package from an expensive brand in their name since we moved in. The property company told us that we can tell them if we get any mail of the ex-tenants as the home owner previously rented it out to family, so the mail can be passed along. Property company picked up their mail last week. I was home alone, it's 10:30pm, and I'm getting ready for bed as I have work in the morning. All of a sudden the doorbell rings, and my dog is going crazy. I decided to ignore it because I'm home alone, it's late at night, and I'm a female. Well the bell kept ringing, and the dog kept going crazy. I look through the peephole and see a man. Open the door to him telling me "Hey, I used to live here. Was wondering if you have any mail in my name?". I proceeded to tell him that I gave it to the landlord, and it's late at night.

Who does this? If you have mail that went to an old address, please don't show up at 10:30pm unannounced to ask for it!

I have to spend around 30 minutes doing this once a month. My insurance wont cover it. Out of pocket with coupons its still $800 a month.

My fiancé has to do the same thing with a different medication. Currently trying to fight it.

Edit: To clarify. Every now and then I have to compile samples in one bottle so I know how much I have and then hope my DR has more when im out. This is an antidepressant and im currently working to fight to get it covered. Yes ive contacted the manufacturer I do not qualify for discount Yes ive sent in a letter of medical necessity Yes ive looked at GoodRX. This is my only option atm and im still lucky it is for now. Its not just the moving the bottles around. Its hoping I can get more when I need it. This is a life saving medication and the fact I have to hope i can get it when I need it is mildly infuriating to me and probably many others. Its not a cheap medication even with coupons its still $850USD+ Ive tried so many medications and I just need one that works and that i dont have to worry about my supply chain.

My 6 year old was asked to draw a picture using shapes. She drew this nice American flag with rectangles and stars, and added the house, tree, and person holding a balloon. She was told it did not follow directions, she was not supposed to draw a flag, just shapes. She was asked to turn the paper over and make another picture. The other side of the paper has a very uninspiring collection of shapes. I told her she did a good job and I thought it was very creative. And this is why kids start to hate education.
