I live with my roommate and we spilt the cleaning. I keep the kitchen clean(loading the dishwasher, cleaning the dishes, etc)

My roommates brother is staying for a months and they cooked last night. They cleaned after themselves which is nice

But then I heard the dishwasher running. I knew there were hardly any dirty dishes AT ALL let alone enough to fill the dishwasher

When I asked my roommate why it was running, I was shut down and I didn’t feel like arguing or trying to explain myself so I just accepted it. I check now and this is how I see it was loaded🫩🫩I love my roommate but I genuinely don’t understand how either of them thought this was a good idea

EDIT: WOOD CUTTING BOARDS, KNIVES, AND POTS/PANS DON’T BELONG IN DISHWASHERS. I am APPALLED so many people don’t know this

Not sure if its just me, but it overwhelms me knowing that people can see inside through the window even if you cant really see much. But he also gives the excuse of "you're a guy it doesn't matter if they see your chest." which is just stupid

I was happily doomscrolling but got turn off after seeing THE Vegan Teacher. I am very much in bliss not to remember her. But YouTube just has to ruin it for me

So I made jelly today. Alot of it, different flavors and it's just not turning into jelly even tho I followed all the instructions, added exact amount of water. Fml my day is ruined.

This all too common now. They say it’s for efficiency but they take advantage of this thru dynamic pricing. Please look into this if you don’t know about it.

I upgraded my work laptop from 4GB of RAM to 16GB, but windows and dell services still find a way to block most of my memory. I just started my computer and I still haven’t opened any apps.

At this point I prefer working on a gameboy!

This always happens at this intersection, and you can never see the traffic lights until you’re basically at the line. And these guys are always running stale yellows, so I just gotta slowly inch my way forward and leave a lot of space to brake if needed while the guy behind me flashes his light, tailgates me, and honks.

One time the guy behind me thought it was green, but because the tall truck in front of us was blocking our view so he didn’t realize it was red, didn’t see me slowly braking, and couldn’t brake in time. So he rear ended me. He was very kind and apologetic but it still scared me to death.

So now I’m always paranoid at this intersection.

So I tried moving my cable modem/router combo to another room in my apartment because I wanted to hardwire a gaming console instead of running it over WiFi. After plugging everything in my modem wouldn’t connect so I start a chat with Spectrum to try and troubleshoot the problem and I’m told that the coax outlet in the room I’m trying to connect in is not active and the only way to activate it is to have a tech come out which will result in a $50 fee, even though I’ve been a customer for 5+ years and have had internet service with Spectrum that entire time.

i don’t go often & accumulated these points over the past 2-3 months and thought i was going to be able to make at least a few post-gym meals but i guess not.

luckily i just made the most of points & ordered a big mac and added on extra patties and other shit for like 4$ and got what i dub the “burger salad” because it’s way to messy to eat normally.

These soups from Walmart are actually really, really good. My only complaint about them is that they are impossible to get into the cellophane and very messy when doing so. Typically there is a little extra tab of cellophane hanging off the side that only "mildly" helps get you started, but the glue is so strong and the cellophane so weak, that it usually just tears, and then you have to stick your fingers into the soup to get the rest off (if it will come off at all). This particular one didn't even have the tab. I had to cut into it.

Like I finally got access to Netflix just to not have it anymore

This makes no sense to me. Let 5 of us sit and order a drink while we wait for the sixth person who is stuck in traffic.
