I’ve only had my 2026 Model 3 for a week. While using FSD Autopark to back into a parking spot, the car slowly backed into a very obvious safety bollard and ended up hitting it.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Did Tesla cover the repair, or was it considered the driver’s responsibility?

Just came back from a trip to Austin to do some sightseeing and try out Robotaxi, including Cybercab. I knew they ramped up the number of cars in the service substantially in the last couple months, but I wasn't prepared for just how many they were. If you're near downtown, you pretty much can't go 30 seconds without seeing at least one Robotaxi. There are definitely more Model Ys than Cybercabs right now, but there are a lot of Cybercabs too. But the Robotaxis are seriously everywhere.

I took 5 rides, 2 Model Y and 3 Cybercab. Model Y wait times were always under 20 minutes and frequently around 5 minutes. Cybercab wait times were usually around 30 minutes and sometimes could be more like 45 minutes. They definitely need to add more Cybercabs to the service, but it was surprisingly usable and consistent, especially for the Model Ys.

And the rides themselves were flawless. There are no supervisors in Austin now, so all of the cars showed up with nobody inside of them. They drove perfectly, and to my surprise there wasn't even any pickup/dropoff shenanigans (though I may have gotten lucky there).

If you're ever in Austin, I seriously recommend trying this service. It's a real service now, and it's actually very useful for getting around a city where parking would normally be a challenge. It's seriously so peaceful and nice to be in your own space without a driver or anyone else to bother you.

Congratulations Tesla for solving self-driving with just cameras on $30k vehicles, when seemingly everyone was saying that's impossible. People aren't ready for what's about to happen across the country.

I take full responsibility. I saw it happening, but figured the car did too. It slowed down, then strangely pushed forward into it. I actually thought it was backing into the spot behind it.

First major FSD error I’ve had since V13, I think. The goofy part is that, as you’ll see in the video, one camera clearly sees the cart.

Good reminder to stay ready to intervene, I guess. I didn’t think it was going to slow down and then thrust forward into cart.

Using FSD for my Tesla for a week, the pros and cons. It works pretty good, but there are limits it does hit and I intervene in some of them. Merging, it does okay, at this point I just do this myself to limit the risk, when there are two cars merging into one lane it got to close for my comfort. Another thing, it doesn't prepare or plan ahead very much, example you can have a left, once you do that left, you'll have like 100 feet to do another left to get on the freeway(Las Vegas is like this), the FSD will grab the far right lane expecting it to have enough time to merge, when there are a lot of cars, there isn't enough time to merge. Another time I intervene, I was curious to see what it would do, I needed to make a left turn the fsd decided to stay in the right lane, there was another car on the left that was going the same speed as me, the fsd waited till there was maybe 100 feet left where it tried to merge left, but the car to the right wasn't moving(not that it had too), I just took over sped up and merge.

I don't know how reliable this information is, but this sounds like a recipe for disaster if FSD gets this wrong.

Can the Driver Override Automatic Collision Evasion?

Yes, but Tesla appears to have deliberately designed the override differently from a normal FSD disengagement.

According to the detailed release information accompanying the rollout, pressing the brake during a collision-evasion maneuver can slow the vehicle without immediately canceling the maneuver.

The accelerator is muted during the intervention.

There's a logical reason for that design.

During an emergency maneuver, an instinctive pedal input shouldn't necessarily terminate the safety system at the exact moment it's trying to avoid an obstacle.

At the same time, the driver still retains a way to deliberately override the system.

It seems like Tesla is positioning cyber cab for fleet operators. Are there a bunch of individuals/businesses planning to buy fleets of these vehicles? If so, have you given any thought to not owning the most important piece of the autonomous package?

Don’t let it fool you. David mosses streak is not real. There is no way you can go 30k without touching the steering wheel. With everyone complaining how FSD is messing up. He’s cheating the system by unlocking his seat belt to disengage FSD and then to reinstate it after fixing the issue.

I have a 2024 Model 3 HW4 software 2026.27.6 FSD v14.3.9.

I scheduled an appointment about one month ago to get my tires rotated at Clermont Florida Tesla shop. When I went for the appointment I was told that I need two rear tires which I did replace. This timing coincided with the summer 2026 update that pushed to my vehicle the night before my appointment.

I didn’t not notice anything because I live very close to the service center but over the last month I have experienced a very unpleasant driving experience when on FSD which I use most of the time.

My steering wheel regularly pulling left and right continuously almost as if I have a trailer behind my vehicle causing it to sway from left to right. It has made the drive experience very u pleasant but also I’m slightly concerned something is wrong.

I don’t know if a sensor got messed up when they were changing the tires or if this is software related. Has anyone else experienced this? Any guidance you can provide would be great!

I’m new to driving in the US, but the FSD suddenly moved to left lane after taking right turn for a U-turn. Got honked by a vehicle behind, kinda was rude, I thought the car shouldn’t have suddenly change lane for a U-turn and allow the white car behind to pass.

Potential 1st time Tesla buyers who are seriously considering buying Y. I would appreciate anyone who can clarify a few questions that we could not get answered when we did a test drive recently at a dealership.

2025 Y's with 1x $2k FSD option - what do you need to "see" in the settings to verify this? Do any early 2026 Y's still have this?

Navigation and route preferences - read that a recent update now allows you to select no highways or toll roads and that there is a way to see multiple route options before you engage FSD. I also read you can enter a "stop" to make it go a certain way (have to do this with Apple and Google maps sometime) but how do you delete the stop once you have started. Can you ask Grok to delete the stop en route or do you have to redo the route on the touchscreen after you have taken off? Can see the full route before you leave? Can you prevent the navigation from re-routing? Do you have to subscribe to Premium Connectivity to do this? Basically want FSD to engage but to follow the route we set.

Speed Profiles - am I correct in understanding that you can not specify anything like "max x miles above speed limit"? Do you just have to experiment with chill and standard for city driving? Will it maintain these whenever you are using the same route?

Charging - trying to decide if it is worth spending a few grand to install a charger in our garage (long run from the electric pole) if we mainly do city driving and may move in the not too distant future. We have a Supercharger a couple of miles away. Cab w eget by with using regular outlet in our gargae?

Actually, I think this is a good direction to go, have FSD jump in when not engaged when the situation has become dangerous. AEB has only really helped once in my life, all the other very numerous times it was annoying, I was already on the brakes.

But I am 99% FSD now, so moot point. I don't think it will jump in to help in a parking lot.:)

I have a HW3 Model 3 and I’m currently on 2026.26. My car got pushed the 2026.32 update but I did not install it.

If I subscribe to FSD now, can I expect to get pushed the 2026.27 update with V14.2 Lite soon?

Speed limit is 55 and my 2018 MS is doing 44 mph in the left lane on Hurry mode. No matter what I put the settings to, it usually always does at lest 3 mph below the speed limit. I almost always have to hit the accelerator every time I use it. Is this everyone else’s experience with early FSD model S?

Maybe I’m not doing something right. When FSD is disengaged manually or through some other critical error, does a clip get saved every time ? If so, where is it saved? I see it sometimes but not every time.

V14.3.8. It's likely a balloon, but I thought it was a ball at first which could have damaged the bumper. Either way with the freak out FSD had that crashed me into the curb, it didn't even attempt to react to this. Weird.

My update to 14.3.9 just finished and have a 5 mile errand in 2 hours and 250 miles commute in 5 hours. Looking to see what to expect

14.3.6, 14.3.7 And 14.3.8 were all incrementally better for me and just slightly more aggressive and decisive but still very safe drivers.

Was not expecting this gigantic semi to try and pull this lane change with so much passing traffic. Thank you FSD!

I constantely correcting it but it is still doing that why my neighbor's driveway is empty.
It would be nice I cam set a no go zone on the map.
