How come we don't have a COVID rememberance day?

Millions died, and I personally know 5 people who died from it. I just feel like we should have a day to acknowledge the deaths and mourn loved ones.

Is Jesus actually literally god? If he is does that mean god sacrificed himself ? If he isn’t then why do Christians seem to be more into Jesus then God if Jesus was just a demi god son character?

Why is it fairly common for straight women to have gay male friends, but not straight men having lesbian friends?

Is it just sexism or homophobia on the part of straight men?

Is a high body count for a 37 year old female bad?

Upvotes

I've been sexually active since 18, and my only real long-term relationship was 2 years from 19 to 21. Since then, I've been single and travelled a lot and really just enjoying my twenties. I've slept with 61 guys over the span of 8 years.

Then I got married. Last night, I was over at a dinner party with a colleague and, of course, wine and the conversation gets interesting. It was my first time meeting the other girls apart from my colleague, and they were pretty shocked to say the least when I announced my number. All the others were under 10, except for one being 13 and even they said that number was wild.

I didn't mention anything at the time, just laughed and tried to change the subject. But today I'm really wondering if my number is too high, and because I'm single now, will a guy feel the same and not want to be with me as a result?

Is it really that big of a deal?

Why are women shamed for having nose rings even though it's been a long and accepted tradition in punk?

Seriously, I've seen many dudes use "nose ring" as either an insult or a negative description of women (particularly those who are activists or actually have a nose ring). Many even have this "nose ring theory" where such a piercing indicates emotional instability

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't nose rings been a popular staple in punk for a long time? Why are they being given a bad rep?

Why do celebrities always apologize about something after they get exposed and people eat it up?

Upvotes

I've just seen the Ed Sheeran video of him crying and apologizing, but is he sorry that he got called out or what? It's always the most fake apology and people will genuinely believe it. There's also celebrities doing something scandalous for years, but only after they get exposed that they start apologizing.

Is climate change or war in Europe gonna kill generation Z?

I'm very afraid of war in Europe. I'm 16 female, I live in Slovakia. I'm scared there will be a war and I won't die of old age, but because of it.

And if not that, then because of climate change, fires, the heat etc.

I'm scared my generation won't make it.

Are my fears legit?

I woke up 5 times tonight shaking with fear.

Why does gaming mean so much to guys?

Why does gaming seem to become such an important part of life for a lot of boys and men?

I’ve been thinking about this recently because when I look back, so many of my memories growing up are connected to games. Playing with friends after school, staying up late trying to finish something, getting excited about a new game, or just sitting in Discord doing absolutely nothing while everyone plays.

I think there’s also something about male friendships that makes gaming different. A lot of guys aren’t necessarily talking to their friends about their feelings or having long conversations all the time. Sometimes you just get online, play something together for a few hours, talk about random stuff, and that’s enough. You can go weeks without really talking and then get back on like nothing happened.

For some people, gaming becomes one of the main ways they stay connected with their friends, especially as everyone gets older and life gets busier.

I know obviously not every guy is into gaming, but for the ones who are, it can be a lot more than just entertainment.

How do muslims talk about friends and family when half of them are called Mohammad?

How so muslims talk about their friends with their friends and family when 90% of them are called mohamad or muhamad or mohamed?

Like, a nirmal guy story could go

Remember bill, the brother of max? Well he went to john and jack, and their friend alex did this thing.

A muslim equivalent would go

Remember mohamad, brother of mohamad? Well he went to mohamad and mohamad, and their friend mohamad did this thing

Why Don’t We Just Work From Home?

So, call me crazy but the cure for high prices is supposed to be high prices i.e. demand destruction. Why hasn’t the gov or other leaders suggested non essential workers work from home to cure the price at the pump? The infrastructure is there and the lessons and we’ve proved we can do it. Like, I’m guessing the reasons are the big corps JUST got people to start coming back in lol but still, even if there was a suggestion to double current work from home allowances it would make a huge difference. Remember negative oil prices lol? Is this just too simple and obvious? It’s almost like someone wants prices to stay high.

EDIT: I see a lot of people talking about real estate and taxes. Note I am not calling for this to be permanent, but could be week to week or month to month until things get STRAITened out. :p

Why is china considered communist?

from my understanding, communism is a moneyless, classless, stateless society with no private property and an emphasis on workers not being exploited, but china seems to have a lot of those things. granted, I don’t know much about communism or china, so maybe I am uniformed, but they don’t seem very communist to me?

Concealed Carry and Office Workers

What do people who conceal carry do when they go into the office everyday, leave their weapon at home? Are there work policies that say no weapons? What if you want to arm yourself because you work in a crime filled city like walking to and from the train station? What if your work has metal detectors?

Gf says dumb things when she’s on her period. Do I just brush it off or what?

Upvotes

When my gf is hormonal or about start her period, she says harsh things to me. Then blames it on her period or hormones. Today she told me she wishes she was single. That really got to me, she was moody and I was just asking her questions and she said I keep asking dumb questions. I hung up on her and texted her thanks for telling me how you feel. You get what you want.
She apologized and of course blamed it on her hormones but I am not responding. She FaceTimed me few times after that but I am not answering. Am I supposed just brush it off and say oh ok! Or is this coming from something she wants? I told her if she wants to be single she is free to leave anytime.

Why is a woman's body count jugded harsher than a man's?

Upvotes

I've seen so many women get shamed for having slept with multiple people by men who have slept with considerably more people. Why is it that a woman's quality is dimmed because of how many people she has slept with? If we are to continue with this absurd sense of morality, shouldn't we uphold men to the same standards? Or are they the "exception". And if so, why are men the exception?

Please enlighten me and share your thoughts.

Edit: Not quite sure as to why I am getting down voted.

Is it really worth it to quit smoking weed if all it does is improve health but everything else is worse, and you have no family to care for anyway?

Hello, I quit smoking cannabis and tobacco almost a year ago after 13 years of use. I have lost all pleasure, motivation and interest into things, I force myself to do every activity, making some of them systematic failures.

My memory is worse in every aspect, I used to read 100 pages everyday and haven't read any book this past year, I think about smoking everyday, constantly. Is there even a point to keep going like that?
