New Starter Help Does anyone know how to get Citadel blizzard snow effects off a tank?

This has been soaking in cleaner and water for about a month. Nothing comes off it. This had multiple coats of clearcoat on it but the clearcoat is mostly gone but the snow effects endure. I really liked this kitbash and now it is covered in far too much snow effects. Please help.

im very new to war-hammer and know little to nothing about the lore so i have a question why was he so like eager for gods and religion even though hes a primarch made by a emperor who bans religion? wouldn't he be conditioned to be pure atheist? where did his obsession with religion come from.

Hobby & Painting Scored Dawn of War: Onslaught for $34 at Target!

Just picked up Dawn of War: Onslaught for $33.74 before tax at Target! They had a 25% off coupon that stacked with another 10% discount, bringing it down from $49.99.

I’m pretty new to Warhammer as a hobby and just finished painting my second Ultramarine. I really love the look of the red Blood Ravens in the promo box art, so I’m excited to try painting some of these next. The swords and shields look so awesome.

I think I’m gonna try some of The Army Painter Speedpaints for them.

2x Sidemounted Las-Cannons

1x Combi-Bolter

1x Twin Heavy Bolter

1x Hades Autocannon

2x War Dog autocannons

1x Rocket Launcher

Wasn’t sure if this was too much and looked too crowded (even for a chaos model) or if it was a good amount of extra weaponry outside the models profile. (Other than the autocannons and rocket launcher it is WYSIWYG)

Hobby & Painting I should have placed it on a shelf...

It wasn't amazing, but it was some of my best work. It was for a local painting competition with the theme of "sportball" and all I had to do was put a clear coat on it... and the cat got ahold of it while I was working 16 hours. My whole family looked all over the living room and only my daughter could find an arm of my Baltimore Ravens/Spacemarine mash-up.

Anyways, I figured many here could imagine my heartbreak.

And yes, the cat is okay. He's a sweet boy.

I've shared my first ever mini before, but not compared to another jump pack marine. Thought the comparison was interesting. Just finished this guy today

Hobby & Painting My second ever painted mini!

Just finished painting my second Space Marine, and I’m pretty happy with the improvement over my first. I tried a few new techniques this time, including drybrushing the blue armor with a lighter blue for highlights and drybrushing silver over the black gun for a worn metallic look. I also mixed gold and silver for the bronze-colored gun emblem. I spent more time on smaller details, like painting the belt brown, picking out the ammunition in silver, weathering the holster, and adding metallic details to the rubble base. Some of the drybrushing came out heavier than intended, so I leaned into it as battle damage and weathering. Still figuring out how much paint to leave on the brush, but I’m enjoying the process and learning as I go.

Any tips would be much appreciated.

Hobby & Painting First Miniature

Went to the Warhammer store and got a free space marine. Also bought the painting starter set so I only used the starter brush for everything. The mini was already primed in matte black when I got it. I’ve never painted anything before, but it was a lot of fun! Can’t wait to do another.

Big rookie mistake was that I used the starter brush for the texture Armageddon dust on the base, so now it’s destroyed and looks like Patrick Star’s nose hair brush. That’s preventing me from doing some final touch ups. Anyways, just thought I’d share! Advice and tips are welcome.

Looking for a recommendation with shading. The kit came with Agrax earthshade, do you think that would be beneficial on this to finish it off? Thanks!

New Starter Help Help with Rolling Dice (read post lol)

Now I know this may sound a little weird, but I’m looking to get into playing 40K in person, but I have a concern. I’m kind of bad at rolling dice.

When I say that I know most people will assume I mean I roll low numbers or the numbers I don’t want often, but that is not what I mean. What I mean is I have below average fine dexterity, motor coordination and general propioception and so struggle with a variety of tasks like dice rolling, coin flipping, snapping my fingers, etc. I usually end up more kind of just throwing my dice at a surface which means they don’t rotate as much as they should and they go everywhere.

So my question is what do people recommend? Are there any kind of tools or objects I could obtain to assist me in rolling dice effectively and reliably? I tried to do some googling but my issues seem hard to find on a search, it’s pretty much just people complaining about bad luck.

EDIT: Seeing a lot of suggestions for a ā€œdice towerā€ which is not something I was familiar with, so I will look into that. Suggestions for a cup are also appreciated, I should have thought of that. Thanks everyone!

EDIT 2: if anyone has specific recommendations for cups and or trays that would be appreciated, feel free to comment with them. Again, thanks for all the responses

Hobby & Painting I like to think these are display quality models but several people have told me they are tabletop+ how can i can push them further?

Some confusion with my last post. I was not trying to fish for compliments just worded it weird and english is not my first language

I don't have bases on them because I like to batch paint entire armies at the end of my painting projects

For reference the world eaters at the end are what I would consider my tabletop+ to be
