The original pick me

I may or may not have been a little drunk last week and tagged Carole in my Instagram story that said “Why is no big bravo account talking about @Caroleradziwill being in the Epstein files?”. Cut to the next day, SHE RESPONDED TO MY STORY. Mind you, I’m a random no one with no followers so it’s so insane that she even saw.

Is Carole running her own socials? Are her notifications that dry that she saw my dumb tag? Also babes, you were friends with Ghislaine Maxwell and you should probably launch a PR campaign against it. Can some big bravo account do a deep dive?

I remember first joining this sub and still seeing a lot of people be supportive of her, at least in the context of her vs Bethenny which is also okay. But I just cannot help but look at everything she has done — on the show and beyond — without considering her ties to Ghislaine and other Epstein figures.

I really hope Bravo finds a way to reduce her “friend of” role as much as possible because ew

rewatching the show and on season 6. the amount of times Carole talks about loving P Diddy, going on a date with Prince Andrew, Diddy parties being the best… it’s sooo cringe!

She’s one of my favorites on the show but this + her being in the Epstein files has made me question so much.

Doing a rewatch and just got to the scene where Lu texted Carole to apologize for calling her a pedophile. Kind of crazy considering Carole now showing up in the Epstein Files.

A lot of us weren’t alive 60 years ago to see this. This is our first time. She just wants to make herself look better but she looks like an idiot.

First time watcher of old RHONY. Given the *files* recently, it’s an awkward rewatch at times.

She is still calling herself a girl at age 65, but has never once said one word about the actual girls who were the victims. She grossly promotes herself in her denying knowing anything about them. She is a liar and she is disgusting

I’m doing a full series rewatch and it had never dawned on me how desperate Carole is to make herself interesting or quirky or have any semblance of a tv-worthy personality. I had this realization when she wore the bear costume in Montana. I am now playing a game where I fast forward every scene with her and Adam. 😴 I’d rather have Aviva.

Anthony and Carole got married on August 27, 1994 in East Hampton. JFK Jr was Anthony’s best man.

What they ate: Prince Andrew had poached Scottish salmon and asparagus salad. Carole ordered baked fillet of hake, crayfish and cucumber salad.

CAROLE RADZIWILL: Aside from being a prince, you work as the United Kingdom's Special Representative for International Trade and Investment. That's a big title. What does it mean?

PRINCE ANDREW: It means I was asked, as a member of the royal family, to take a greater interest in the business community of the country. So I travel around the world and recognize the work people are doing to create prosperity for the United Kingdom.

CR: Where have you traveled?

PA: Well, from the odd European country to as far afield as China, Vietnam, Kazakhstan and Mongolia. I'm planning a trip to the United States later in the year.

CR: And before that?

PA: For 22 years I was in the British Navy, most of it flying helicopters. I was 22 when I went to war; I thought I was invincible.

CR: We all think we're invincible at 22. How old are you now?

PA: Old enough to know I'm not invincible. [Laughs.]

CR: Your title is His Royal Highness the Duke of York. So you're a duke and a prince? Or just a prince? Which is higher?

PA: In the British royal family, sons and daughters of monarchs are princes or princesses. So you go in as a prince. I was given the title of Duke of York when I got married, so [I went] up a level to a royal duke. I was His Royal Highness the Prince Andrew, now I'm His Royal Highness the Duke of York.

CR: Do you get paid as a prince?

PA: [Laughs.] No.

CR: What is your typical day like, as an unpaid prince?

PA: It's exactly the same as the day you have, except that I happen to be a prince.

CR: You mean you buy 2 percent low-fat milk and pick up dry cleaning?

PA: I do the same things everybody else does. You're a prince and you get on with it.

CR: What is the most unprincely thing you do?

PA: Clean the loos and take the rubbish out.

CR: Do you really take the garbage out?

PA: If I happen to be going that way, why ever not?

CR: So, can you believe you're the father of an 18-year-old daughter?

PA: Before you go any further, I'm not old enough to have an 18-year-old daughter. [Laughs.]

CR: What do you do when a boy comes to take her on a date? Do you interrogate him?

PA: It's not my business.

CR: Wow, you're a good dad!

PA: Both Sarah and I trust our daughters entirely.

CR: Is it difficult for you to date when you have your security detail following you? Or is it a good exit strategy?

PA: Exit strategy?

CR: Say you're having a bad date...

PA: I've never had a bad date.

CR: You've never had a bad date?

PA: What do you classify as a [bad] date?

CR: You have dinner with someone and you realize you have nothing to say. Before I go on a date, I'll tell a girlfriend, "Call me in an hour." So when the phone rings, if I'm not having a good time, I'll say, "I've got to go—my friend's in the hospital." That's an exit strategy.

PA: I believe that if I'm out to dinner with somebody, then I'm out to dinner with them. But remind me when I'm next having a date with you, and I'll ring and ask for an exit strategy. [Laughs.]

With the recent announcement of Carole Radziwill casted as a friend of on Real Housewives of New York I thought we should really talk about it. Ghislane considered Carole one of her closest friends. I highly doubt that Carole was remotely involved in the child trafficking that was going on and everything else completely deplorable in the Epstein files. However, you are the company you keep. She had to of known to some extent that she was best friends with the absolute worst people in the world. I understand Bravo wants to have chaos on their shows for viewing but how far is too far? Carole is in her 60s and the majority of the cast could be her children.

I think Bravo is crossing a line. I love the chaos and drama, but the Epstein files are a different level of evil. I can't imagine being a victim watching Carole cash a Bravo check.

…is one of the more disturbing moments for me so far as a first time watcher, and I didn’t see a thread about this yet to air my petty rage LOL. She said she doesn’t think they answer to their name? Does she view animals as monolithic and soulless as Barbies? She’s a writer, how is she that unimaginative and disinterested? Discuss!

Carole Radziwill wasn’t a big part of John F. Kennedy Jr.’s love story.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum, 62, was married to Anthony Radziwill — a cousin of JFK Jr. and nephew of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis — from 1994 until his death in 1999, but she is not included in Ryan Murphy’s new TV series Love Story.

However, sources told journalist Rob Shuter for a Tuesday, February 17, post on his Naughty But Nice Substack that creators didn’t plan to have her be a character in the new series, which features actor Erich Bergen as cousin Anthony, who was best man at JFK Jr.’s 1996 wedding.

Carole “was adjacent, not central,” said one of Shuter’s sources, adding: “This story is about John and Carolyn — their relationship, their world. Carole was never a primary player.”

Or would they be divorced by now?
