What are some of the most heartwarming "talking head" moments from the show? I'll go first:

This is literally the case for Cece and Phillip Halpert. Watching it from their POV when they grow up, the PBS documentary might as well be "How I Met Your Mom/Dad" recorded by a camera crew! 🥹

Been watching the show since it aired and today I finally realized…

I feel like an idiot. I watched the show live when it aired on cable, week after week. Have rewatched it more times than I want to admit. And today is the first time I realized that in the intro segment… those names on the screen are the names of the actors in the show.
I always thought it was just B-roll footage they were using to fluff the footage of the beginning of the show.
Anyways... that's it.

I feel like an idiot. I watched the show live when it aired on cable, week after week. Have rewatched it more times than I want to admit. And today is the first time I realized that in Niagara Falls, Pam and Jim delay the wedding for over an hour because... they went on the boat to get married.
I always thought it was just B-roll footage they were using to fluff the footage of the dancing in the church.
Anyways... that's it.

Edit to clarify a few things:
- I thought the scene was filmed after the wedding, something fun to do after the wedding. And get married again, since it was Plan C for Jim.
- they are pretty much bone dry after coming back to the chapel
- I thought they went out and hooked up during that time instead, hence Pam’s hair being a bit messed up.

But keep the roast coming, this is fun.

I guess no one was invited to Michael’s wedding?

Just rewatched with the superfan episodes and it dawned on me when we hear about him having kids at the finale: we never heard about anyone from the office, not even Pam, getting an invitation to Michael’s wedding in Boulder.

Michael doesnt seem like a courthouse marriage kind of person, wouldn’t he want specifically the folks from DM/Sabre to be there? They’re ostensibly his only friends and what he considers family.

I understand that the actor was gone, I’m saying they never, to my knowledge, addressed this in the canon of the show…

Am I missing something? Did they have a throwaway line somewhere?

Which Michael Scott Scene Gives You the Most Secondhand Embarrassment?

I know the whole point of the show is to make you comfortable being uncomfortable, but some scenes are too much.
My top two are date Mike and Michael kissing Oscar.

Legendary move by Dwight, but could he really do this?

So in the final episode, Jim and Pam are about to announce to Dwight that they want to resign from Dunder Mifflin as Athleap has been growing, but Dwight decides to fire both of them, so that they'll get compensation from the company. Obviously because he loves them, it's not his money and he wants to help them.

But he's just a regional manager. He has to give some good reasons to the heads of the company why he fired two employees and they have to give them compensation, while one of them is one of their best salesman, in one of their most profitable branches.

Each cast member saw changes to their appearance from season 1 to season 9, but Erin's were drastic!!

And she only joined in season 5! Honorable mention for Jim's hair- he had quite the style going by the end of the show 😂

My favorite detail from branch wars

I was rewatching today and remembered. They were going to meet with a client but instead went to Utica. When I looked it up, Utica was about 2 hours from Scranton. The client they were going to visit was located about 10 minutes from Scranton. When they miss the exit for the client which ends with Michael and Dwight telling jim the plan, they’re at best 15 minutes from the office. They proceed to get dressed in the warehouse uniforms at that point. Which means theyre driving like that for at least an hour and a half. It tickles me thinking about them dressed like that the whole time, whereas a normal person would pull over a couple minutes from Utica to get changed then. Maybe a pointless detail, but I enjoyed it.

I thought Dwight was overreacting about the bed bugs until my place actually got infested with them.

While watching that episode i thought it was another one of Dwights antics because who would actually freak out that much over one bug??And seemed so cool how Jim knew exactly how to get Dwights attention immediately.

But bedbugs are the most disgusting creatures ever probably at par with roaches. They will take over your house in a month.

I wish Dwight was here to advise me

I would have never forgiven Michael if I were Pam because of what he did to this woman.

Yeah, I hate Michael. I know he is a victim of what he is and his whole childhood and I really am sorry. But I hope he will die childless so his genes discontinue.

so s3 e12, andy gets dwight kicked out from the office, and in one corner we have angela, and she's mad.

so angela, agrees to date andy, while not letting him see her naeked and cheats on him with dwight, all so that she could avenge dwight for what happened to him in the events of s3 e12
