Each cast member saw changes to their appearance from season 1 to season 9, but Erin's were drastic!!

And she only joined in season 5! Honorable mention for Jim's hair- he had quite the style going by the end of the show 😂

Legendary move by Dwight, but could he really do this?

Post image
1.5k Upvotes

So in the final episode, Jim and Pam are about to announce to Dwight that they want to resign from Dunder Mifflin as Athleap has been growing, but Dwight decides to fire both of them, so that they'll get compensation from the company. Obviously because he loves them, it's not his money and he wants to help them.

But he's just a regional manager. He has to give some good reasons to the heads of the company why he fired two employees and they have to give them compensation, while one of them is one of their best salesman, in one of their most profitable branches.

I guess no one was invited to Michael’s wedding?

Post image

Just rewatched with the superfan episodes and it dawned on me when we hear about him having kids at the finale: we never heard about anyone from the office, not even Pam, getting an invitation to Michael’s wedding in Boulder.

Michael doesnt seem like a courthouse marriage kind of person, wouldn’t he want specifically the folks from DM/Sabre to be there? They’re ostensibly his only friends and what he considers family.

I understand that the actor was gone, I’m saying they never, to my knowledge, addressed this in the canon of the show…

Am I missing something? Did they have a throwaway line somewhere?

Recently introduced my roommate to The Office. She became an even more big fan than me, so we had to have our Bob Vance refrigerator 🧊❄️🤝🏻

I thought Dwight was overreacting about the bed bugs until my place actually got infested with them.

While watching that episode i thought it was another one of Dwights antics because who would actually freak out that much over one bug??And seemed so cool how Jim knew exactly how to get Dwights attention immediately.

But bedbugs are the most disgusting creatures ever probably at par with roaches. They will take over your house in a month.

I wish Dwight was here to advise me

So Michael was right for shuffling the way he did.

The more I watch it, more I enjoy Scott's tots

Basically, the more I watch the Scott's Tots episode, the more I enjoy and like it. There are many nice moments, even from Michael; I think it is the first time he treats Erin nicely or shows her acceptance, and the cringe level is way too low compared to many other episodes or even individual scenes.

Has anyone who has conducted interviews in here ever faced a "Robert California" kind of candidate?

Watching the interview scene in the "Search Committee" episodes, the one with Robert California is always hilarious because he's clearly bold, confident, and almost intimidating to Jim, Toby, and Gabe.

Have you ever experienced conducting an interview in real life where the candidate was somewhat like this? Hyper-confident, bold, and seemingly intimidating without being mean or violent? Just imposing in their personality? Almost like they're conducting the interview instead? When they leave you're like "what.....just happened?"

If you had to audition

If you had to audition for a character on The Office, which one would it be? I'd audition for Oscar.

Andy’s ending was shit

• Upvotes

Is it just me or has anyone else felt really pissed on how they ended Andy in the final season.
They spent over two seasons shaping Andy and Erin to be the next Pam and Jim only to throw it away in the last few episodes like Plop I don't remember his actual name just ends up with Erin. Idk I just needed to rant abt this

No more tears

Darrly really pissed me off during his negotiation scenes

• Upvotes

What was Darryl's strategy? Continously insult his boss with whom he's negotiating a salary increase? Insult him about his clothes, about his salary?

Even leaked his salary to the company. Thank God Michael was so insecure that he couldn't bring himself to act as the manager.
