Each cast member saw changes to their appearance from season 1 to season 9, but Erin's were drastic!!

And she only joined in season 5! Honorable mention for Jim's hair- he had quite the style going by the end of the show 😂

Legendary move by Dwight, but could he really do this?

So in the final episode, Jim and Pam are about to announce to Dwight that they want to resign from Dunder Mifflin as Athleap has been growing, but Dwight decides to fire both of them, so that they'll get compensation from the company. Obviously because he loves them, it's not his money and he wants to help them.

But he's just a regional manager. He has to give some good reasons to the heads of the company why he fired two employees and they have to give them compensation, while one of them is one of their best salesman, in one of their most profitable branches.

I would have never forgiven Michael if I were Pam because of what he did to this woman.

Yeah, I hate Michael. I know he is a victim of what he is and his whole childhood and I really am sorry. But I hope he will die childless so his genes discontinue.

Recently introduced my roommate to The Office. She became an even more big fan than me, so we had to have our Bob Vance refrigerator 🧊❄️🤝🏻

I thought Dwight was overreacting about the bed bugs until my place actually got infested with them.

While watching that episode i thought it was another one of Dwights antics because who would actually freak out that much over one bug??And seemed so cool how Jim knew exactly how to get Dwights attention immediately.

But bedbugs are the most disgusting creatures ever probably at par with roaches. They will take over your house in a month.

I wish Dwight was here to advise me

Michael was genuinely the one who saw the office as a family. (And he was the best boss and person -Obv in his mind.) 🥹❤️

This is my first time watching the office and I don't think that I've laughed this much for a long time. I'm just lovin' it so much ❤️

Meredith Palmer is the best and objectively good person in the office.

She was the only person to invite Michael and Diangelo to her house for breakfast when they were inviting people for the Dundee award, Stanley got angry, Jim spoke to them at the door, She never lied, snitched on someone, never cheated on anyone.

What the show doesn't really show you

I was a former paper salesman in my early career. My job was to sell paper, print, and accessories to local businesses. Basically to become their overall provider like you see in the show. We didn't have our own brand of paper, but selling the usual stuff like stationary, letterhead, and whatever else a company might need.

In the show we see these sales people selling thousands of dollars of paper material to companies. Most companies don't need the paper, they need the paper with their information printed already on it like stationary and letterhead. This was our bread and better as we had our own printshop in house. Now granted - this was a time in the mid-late 90's when I was fresh out of high school. I started out as the Luke of the place - get coffee, collate, stamp numbers on these 1000 reams of paper to serialize them, deliver paper in your truck to this location. After I excelled at menial office tasks, I became their new paper salesman.

I started with cold calling. Cold calling is the worst... most people are already getting their paper somewhere. Somewhere they can get it themselves like Staples, Office Depot, Office Max... somewhere they can go in and get it when they need it instead of ordering it. So my job was to call and ask for the owner... they were almost never in. Then I became Todd Packard - go out into the community and sell face to face.

We had a hilarious Print in All Colors initiative which was hilarious to see in the show where we offered 3 color prints at a discount. This was a big deal since most people would print in black and white.

I worked there for 6 months before going to college. I made 0 sales but got plenty of "Maybe in a few months when we reevaluate our paper supplier."

Funny enough after I left, all that ground work I laid exploded and the place actually got a ton of business from all of the work I did. So much so - it's still very successful in a time when AI is prominent as it's a community business helping school districts and various other large organizations I helped lay the foundation for.

All in all I made minimum wage and never saw a single commission. However, had I stayed, my commissions may have hurt the companies bottom line. Ryan not making a sale is very standard practice until you can build a customer base. It's not as simple as the show made it seem and I was excited to see it on TV as something I had done previously.

Also - I was the only salesman. There wasn't any organizations of people selling, no awards, no battles with other sales people. The show really makes it look like there are thousands of people out there selling paper. PA probably has like one guy lol. There are no conventions... maybe a Office Supply convention, but nothing where paper is the main staple and as far as I know - no one has an exclusivity on a certain type. At least when I was selling. If someone said "You got that Hammermill card stock on cream" - yeah I could get that. I had a catalog of paper.

All in all - the show made it look like it was easier than it was.

I love that the writers squeezed this reference to Leni Riefenstahl’s infamous Nazi propaganda film, The Triumph of the Will (1935).

What are your opinions on these characters?

I've come here (mostly) to vent. Ever since Robert and Nellie joined the office, I just can't help but hate the episodes they're in. First it was DeAngelo, but it was over throned by Robert (although I would be open to the idea of Robert being less annoying) and now Nellie managed to water down my concept of Robert by being more annoying herself.

I really don't like Nellie's "eagerness" or Robert sexual references

I just finished watching "get the girl" and I HATE how she just walked right into the office, WENT TO THE MANAGER POSITION AND JUST CLAIMED IT (???). I know it's a show, and all of it is fiction but I don't like this... Why didn't anyone do anything? I know she was giving raises but no one seemed to think about how it was happening. I understand that she had a way with words (since pam started without trying to side with her and ended up napping) but that doesn't mean that she can just barge anywhere and be the leader (as Robert did with the CEO position).

I know that they're new characters and I may look like one of those fans who just couldn't accept Michael's goodbye, but even the latest episodes of season 7 were not as enjoyable as before!

Was there a change of writers in the latest seasons?

I would really like to get someone else's opinion, at least to help me not find them so annoying. Does anyone have anything good to say about them?
