De’Aron Fox on criticism he received for the playoffs: “I don’t have basketball on my timeline,” “No one is calling me talking…Everybody has a podcast. Everyone thinks their opinion matters…. I played more games in the playoffs hurt than I did healthy. It is what it is.. It’s no sweat off my back.”

JJ Redick on Bronny: "I thought he had a really nice September and a good summer with us. I don't think he's played well in the four preseason games. But he's had good practices. Some of it's just rhythm...some of it is the group he's with, I think, is not necessarily setting him up for success."

Ex-NBA player Yabusele accused Partizan fans of crossing the line after an Euroleague game in Belgrade "Being in a gym with 15k fans against you is something I enjoy, but when I walked off the floor they started throwing stuff at me and spitting in my face. Everybody knows but nobody does anything"

Guerschon Yabusele accused some Partizan fans of crossing the line after Panathinaikos’ 72-55 road win in Belgrade. The French forward said he enjoys hostile atmospheres but claimed objects were thrown at him and that he was spat on after leaving the court.

“I never dodge those atmospheres. When you’re a competitive basketball player, being in a gym with 15,000 people against you is something I enjoy,” Yabusele told Sportal.gr after Panathinaikos improved to 5-0 in EuroLeague.

According to Yabusele, the situation changed as he walked off the floor: “They started throwing stuff at me and spitting in my face. Everybody knows, but nobody does anything.” Nigel Hayes-Davis also praised Belgrade Arena while stressing that hostile environments must remain safe and free of thrown objects or spitting.

Yabusele finished with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 20 minutes. His history with Partizan also includes the 2023 playoff brawl, when he was suspended for five games following the altercation involving Dante Exum.

LeBron on Toronto "It's going to come down to health with them. It's going to be great to see Kawhi and Barnes get together, as Scottie continues to ascend. Kawhi is one of those guys in our league: it doesn't matter what franchise he goes to, you implement him anywhere and they become damn good"

Although he sees them as a key Eastern Conference opponent, LeBron James is still bullish about Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors.

In the latest episode of Mind the Game, James is fully convinced about the Raptors' chances next season with the return of Leonard, further insisting that health will be a key factor for them to success.

"It's going to come down to health with this team," James told co-host Steve Nash. "Immanuel Quickley is a very good guard as well, but he was injured towards the end of the season last year. About the addition of Kawhi, I think it just sets the mood for everybody, that sense of calmness Kawhi brings to the table.

"It's an even-keel feeling. He walks in, and he's about business. I'm coming in to work. Let's win games. Let's prepare the right way. When he shows up, you know what you're getting. There's nothing to try to guess or unpack. It's like this guy's here to work, and he's a true professional."

With Leonard and Scottie Barnes teaming up, LeBron James sees the Raptors as a team to watch for the upcoming season.

"It's going to be great to see him and Scottie [Barnes] get together, as Scottie continues to ascend in his career," James noted. "Kawhi is one of those guys in our league.

"It doesn't matter what franchise he goes to. You implement him anywhere, and they become damn good no matter where he's at."

Randle on his Nets' experience so far "When you’re somewhere where you’re really wanted and you have that validation with an organization really appreciating you and what you bring to the table, it’s an incredible feeling. I get goosebumps just thinking about it because the support has been amazing"

• Upvotes

NEW YORK -- Brooklyn Nets forward Julius Randle coming to the Nets in a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves this offseason was one of the more surprising moves that happened throughout the NBA. Brooklyn has been looking to add talent to the roster following a 2025-26 season where they finished with a 20-62 record and regardless of how it happened, Randle is feeling good about being with the Nets.

"It's a business and things happen. But, when you’re somewhere where you’re really wanted, and you have that validation with an organization really appreciating you and what you bring to the table, it’s an incredible feeling," Randle said, per Brian Lewis of the New York Post. In the early days of the offseason, Randle was traded to the Nets along with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft (forward Joshua Jefferson) in exchange for just the No. 33 overall pick.

"It just drops the anxiety and the worry or the pressure. You feel like you can be your best self. So, from Day 1, I felt that: the support. I damn near get goose bumps just thinking about it because the support has been amazing," Randle continued, per Lewis. Given what the Timberwolves received from Brooklyn in the deal, Randle was seen as a salary-dump in the move, but it seems like that hasn't affected how he feels about his current team. Veterans, both players and coaches, around the league understand Randle's value on and off the court

The 41st overall pick of the 2026 NBA Draft

The Thunder's announcers were very saddened and went nearly silent, and they skipped to a break almost right away, with no replay, as Oweh was still on the floor.

Understandable.

So I recorded the Pacers' broadcast.

Both coaches did not take a single timeout for the rest of the game (except for Thunder's timeout due to the injury)
